I personally hope it doesn't reach Wano levels I think an Egghead length, maybe 10-15 chapters longer is fine. Egghead was an insane arc that brought in massive plot and lore drops in a much smoother,to the point and shorter way than Wano, and with Nico Robin and Saul meeting finally, I think Oda can speed things up and not extend himself so much
thing is, egghead mainly just started sub-plots, few got really culminated in there, that takes a while, also egghead main plot was a lot simplier than wano or what elbaf looks like to be, elbaf looks like it will be a really long arc, but it probably will have many chapters on the outside world, still its main plot will be whole cake island minimun length just considering the things to happen in the island itself
@@Elchinodawn Yeah,I'm thinking either it gets extended like a Whole Cake or Wano,or, it turns into a Sabaody or Egghead and halfway it turns into something much more serious and you get crazy stuff like the Celestial dragon punch or Gorosei showing up that throws the whole arc into an unexpected direction that speeds things up like Sabaody eventually led to Marine Ford. I trust Oda can close up the subplots in a relatively quick fashion, similar to the quick and to the point way in which Rayleigh explained haki to Luffy . I'm not saying that fast, but he knows when to cut fat when he needs to,and according to his comments recently,he plans on doing that For instance, bringing all of the oceans together realizes Sanji's dream of the all blue and Brook's dream of seeing Laboon in one hit,so I think he'll find a way to make it all work
Absolutely not. We hype this arc for hundreds of chapters and a number of years. Egghead was a detour, this is crucial to the plot. I expect it to be AT LEAST as long as Wano and wouldn’t be surprised if longer.
It’s probably gonna be 80-120 chapters then it’ll push us into the final arc, I’m expecting us to learn about the will of d , and get a god valley flashback
You make great content, go into tremendous detail, and you're a great editor. If you add background music I think that will give you big boost viewership wise. I never comment but I think that is all you're missing.
Wano should stay the longest it’s the end of the yonko saga and was built up all of timeskip. I’m not ready for elbaph to be so long if it’s 150-200 chapters it would take 5-7 years coz oda drops like 35 chapters a year now and that’s crazy. I really loved the pacing of egghead coz it was really streamlined and efficient with its storytelling.
Elbaph NEEDS to be shorter than Wano. As much as I don’t want it to end, it needs to pick up the pace… VA’s are getting too old, fans are dying without making it to the end. It’s gone on long enough. Shit Oda himself has a possibility of dying before he reaches the end. One never knows when their time is up.
And Mangakas have very short lifespan statistically. Oda's lifestyle is not healthy, assuming he really doesn't sleep much even as a not so young man anymore@@porkhill6665
I honestly hope its 116 chapters long, which would be a reference to the chapter where we saw the giants for the first time in Little Garden, and would also be the second longest arc in OP
@@swordpiece I mean, didn't Zoro use Asura exactly 500 chapters after the last time he used it? And then there's chapter 1000 I know that he already said that he doesn't usually want to do that type of things with number of chapters, but I think that 116 is much more realistic than 200+, still super long and would show love for vikings and Elbaph itself
Oda actually said it in reference to Chapter 1000. It was something along the lines of "I don't really care about chapter numbers, but sure, I'll do something special here". My interpretation is that he never plans the story around chapter numbers but simply decides to do something special if there's an opportunity. Like how he could have introduced Rayleigh in Chapter 499 or 501, but decided to do it in Chapter 500.
I might be wrong tho, but isn't true that there actually wasn't supposed to be an Elbaph arc? Unlike the other kingdoms Elbaph isn't ruled or being taken over by a bad guy. And wasn't Usopp supposed to go to Elbaph after he realized his dream of being a brave warrior of the sea after the story ended.
Oh God I hope it doesn't reach the lengths of Wano 😂. Egghead for me was the best post time skip arc cuz it had a good pacing and was actually the most important arc in terms of plot with so many plot reveals.

It feels like Oda is sacrificing the Strawhats development in favor of others sometimes. We barely got any lore for Zoro. The swordsman in the land of the samurai. My biggest fear is that Oda is gonna completely botch ussop in this arc. If he does Ussop becomes completely irredeemable and he'd be better of being killed offscreen or left behind in Water 7.
@ubergoober25 It's not even a matter of trust. It's choices he's made. Dude revealed Zoros entire family tree in an SBS after giving us a red herring that same arc. It doesn't ruin the series but people can not like certain aspects of a story and still believe in the author and love the work.
I'm just going to stop reading and come back in about 10 years. I HATE being drip-fed like this. After 20 years, I much prefer a nice, short book that can tell it's story within a year. This is BS.
