Shanks probably put his flag on all the territory of Loki to protect them just as you guessed. Making him a powerful fighter with multiple islands under his control worthy of yonko status. And if we are right that Loki was a yonko then that also makes sense why big mom wanted to join them together and have 2 yonko crews plus the prince of elbaph under her then they could take out any and all in their path

I know everyone says Vivi and don’t get me wrong she’s great but what did she really add to the crew, we already have multiple different kinds of straight men as well as weak/normal people, and what really made her interesting was her goal to get to her kingdom and save it from a near undefeatable force, without that she’s just kind of a normal person, like at least Cricket was a log person and liked swimming and monkeys

the thing is I think luffy would consider more than 10, since he is okay with Otama being in the crew once she is older, and yamato if she doesnt need to protect wano, carrot if she doesnt need to be the leader of the minks, vivi if she wasnt a ruler of alabasta, and etc.

I don't like the idea of Vivi joining. Its that she would be insanely weak compared to the other straw hats, and we don't really know what she is good at. Think about it, every member of the straw hats has a specific role, so what role would Vivis be?

The last ROLE on the ship will probably be apprentice (like how Shanks was Roger's apprentice).

it wouldn't be 'one piece' after luffy obtains it, i bet that a sequel series will start named 'the king of pirates' where luffy takes on the world government head on with the pirates that have survived the final arc and he still wont reunite with shanks and will meet his father before then

my top 5 candidates are definitely vivi, vega lilith, yamato, bonney and law. if law joined the strawhats they could dock their sub in one of the sunnys docs and laws crew could help franky invent or improve machines/machinery around the ship witch would be cool but this is all headcannon ofc lol
