My favorite cracked theory about the immortality surgery is that Dr. Kureha received it. It would be a funny explanation for why she kept asking people if they want to know the secret to her health / youth.
Here's one for you... Usopp actually has ALWAYS had his Haki of Observation, he just doesn't have full control over it. But this is why his lies always come true... he's ACTUALLY seeing things that his father is seeing, like he did in the final fight in One Piece Red. It's also why Usopp can take so much damage and never die despite being the weakest on the crew... he's just slightly dodging things enough to survive unconsciously.

I love that Oda doesn’t try to subvert fan theories. Seeing well planned long burn mysteries pay off is worth it even if some people see it coming. I recently saw one of my theories come true within the last 3 chapters and I was incredibly happy. Though I do wonder if there is something beneath Ernie’s Lobby.
I wanna know what's under there too even though it's just a crater left by (presumably) Uranus used by Im like the recent island that got orbital striked. Why are the holes never filling up even though the entire planet's ocean is flowing down there. Maybe Law's crew at some point give us a bit of insight since it's the only submarine we know of in one piece
I think I once read in a SBS that Oda loves all the theory crafting by fans online but tries to not read too many cause he feels pressured to invent something new when somebody predicts the plot he indeed had planned
Ussopp telling the story makes so much sense! When he left Kaya, he told her he'd come back and only tell true stories. What if the narrator is Ussop sitting with Kaya and telling her all about their journeys?
@@rinmartell2678 It’d make sense tho, besides every single piece of fiction nowadays has at least one thing that’s been used alot, some of them just do it better than others
@@elijahaaron6949 Yeah but Oda didn’t use the amnesia trope right. Ace and Luffy are in newspapers for years, making headlines and Sabo only gets triggert, when he reads about aces death? Makes no sense

What kind of pirate is allowed to just waltz into the Gorosei’s chambers to hold a private meeting? Well, the kind that is secretly a Celestial Dragon. This longtime theory states that Shanks is more than just a friendly, party-loving mentor to Luffy. Instead, he has a more mysterious and sinister past as a member of the Tenryubito. [27:39] 🏴☠️ Big Mom and Beast Pirates in the Grand Fleet: The grand fleet isn't over yet. With the members of Orlumbus’s crew and the Tontatta is one thing, but to finally take on the World Government, the Straw Hats might need some heavier hitters. Enter the crews of the former Yonkou, Big Mom and Kaidou. [29:29] 👴Immortal Gorosei: A lot of characters in One Piece have flashbacks where we can see depictions of their younger selves. However, during Robin’s flashback we got to see the Gorosei of approximately twenty years ago and they look…exactly the same. This raises the question: Do they age at all? He is on the Island of Rare Animals, and is in a treasure chest. Made with HARPA AI
The God Ussop theory at 16:30 has definitely turned into "the liar of Haki". Just like how Shanks puts fear into those who try to use observation on him Ussop will do a similar feat, but show them a future that doesn't happen, hence the liar aspect of the theory. Which plays a huge role in his eventual fight with Van Augur with the warp-warp fruit.
Would be pretty cool to see this kept up to date, like additional Iceberg theories thrown in the tiers. Stuff like "the One Piece is in the center of Long Ring Long Land and only revealed during a huge Aqua Lagoona, which means the Strawhats too, were almost too early." or "Vivi will find the Snow Snow Fruit on Sunny when she reunites soon." are some of the biggest theorys rn, and Id love a full history of theorys by this Iceberg which we could all smile upon once the series ends :D
The thing about shanks is he is best suited for being able to take down Blackbeard. He has no devil fruit powers, rendering Teach’s dark-dark fruit useless, and let’s not forget that shanks was pretty much on equal footing with whitebeard, so the tremor-tremor fruit shouldn’t really be a problem. I feel like shanks and roger are aware that a devil fruit’s strengths weigh just as much as it’s weaknesses. I look forward to seeing shanks fight.
I always thought that BB gave shanks his scar back when they were kids (Roger vs whitebeard past).I saw BB wearing a claw for a weapon so i assumed that he gave shanks that scar back then… i could be wrong though. But it would surely be disappointing if Oda kills off shanks without showing us his combat skill, especially after hyping him up as a yonko whose color of the supreme king is unrivaled
I can't wait to see what Brook knows. He's definitely got some secrets. I want some last name reveals like Brook, Nami, Usopp, Koby, Sabo, etc. The family tree at the end is gonna be amazing. And I'm really starting to believe Imu is a character we know about already. It would be too easy if it was just Luffys mother.
Just want to make one point.. Gear second only took life off him because his body wasn't used to it yet, by the end of the time-skip he had trained himself up so it had no side effects to being used as far as we know, since he wasn't ever shown to be tired by using it and could literally activate it for one hit then deactivate it, like he did against the pacifista on Sabaody.
@@jythmivena6617 He did use it quite extensively against Rob Lucci and during Marineford, those were probably the longest fights he was using it in pre-time skip.. As far as accelerating his cellular growth, we really don't know, unless Oda has clarified on that. All we were told AFAIK was that it shaves off his lifespan by accelerating his bloodstream, putting too much pressure on his heart.. I know It was Ivankov that accelerated his cellular growth to cure him of Magellan's poison, and that was the only known 'Rapid Cellular Growth' he has experienced in the story so far.
Similar to the thing in my hero academia. Deku was told he'd lose his arms if he kept smashing at 100% but has been smashing non stop lately. The reason being that diagnosis was made earlier when he had at max 0-15% control and was taking damage from the 85% of his power he had no control over. Now he can comfortably use around 60% and mimic 100% with the use of his gauntlet and other quirks. Now he's likely only taking damage from at most 40% but realistically probably 0-20% because of tools and his other quirks. TLDR gear second is a lot easier to use as shown by the smoother transformation meaning the damage to his body is either lessened a great amount or completely gone.
He trained himself so his body could adjust to the gears without side-effects. OR at least second and third gear. If you notice pre-timeskip Luffy became tiny after third gear use. Post-timeskip he never became tiny.
We are confirming so many of these theories this year that it's crazy. The rumble balls forcing awakenings, what devil fruits are, Vegapunk and the revolutionaries, Kuma's past, Shanks true power and the fact that he only needs 1 more poneglyph. Now we just need the man marked by flames who's either Sabo, Dragon, or Joshua Gram. Whoever it is though Robin definitely knows him.
The Man Marked by Flames is Jaguar D. Saul, hear me out. This MMbF is covered in Burn Scars and sails on a Black Ship surrounded by Whirlpools. We see Jaguar D. Saul get frozen solid and then bombarded on O’Hara. This event alone would cause full body Frostburns as well as Burn Scars from the Flames on Ohara, with recent chapter we know that Saul is alive and kickin His Black Ship was made from the wood of the Knowledge Tree on Ohara, this would explain the Black Ship… We’ve never seen the Road Poneglyph from Fishman Island! I believe that Saul, after reclaiming all the knowledge of O’Hara and healing up, he sailed for Fishman Island with the knowledge of the importance of that Poneglyph. After talking with the Fishman he took the Poneglyph to protect it and the Fishman have been shown to manipulate Water Currents, this would explain the Whirlpools surrounding the Black Ship for protection
Gaimon being the One Piece sure would explain why Roger and his entire crew laughed so hard they named an entire island after his story. In fact, they found it so funny they decided they wouldn't help him at all, afraid it would take the funny out of the story.
I think the Gorosei have had the Op Op immortality surgery. I believe they've forced slaves to use it under threats to their families, while keeping it in Marejois. Hence why when the fruit got out it was worth so much, and why Doflamingo wanted it so desperately. A former celestial dragon has inside info.
Yeah im not sure about this one because the user of OP OP no mi has to be a skilled user i believe that he even needs an awakening for it but even if he doesn't he still have to be used to the fruit and it would take too long to train the slave propely. there might be some people who got immortality tho and Doflaming wanted the fruit because of the same reason but the reason why he was so gentle with law is because it's hard to use the fruit if he would've been able to do the Op Op immortality surgery right after he ate it than he would've not been so gentle
No because the gorosei actively search for new members. The youngest member in fact was told he is the newest addition in one of the chapters. Why would they need replacements to the five elder stars if they live forever. Imu however definitely has immortality. It's more likely they are just really really old like Dr Kureha. They should have access to the best doctors on the planet, Kureha is also a doctor so she knows how to stay healthy but best yet; Drum island had that whole Wapol keeping all the doctors of the island for himself segment which could be parallel to the Gorosei situation. They also both reside in just another castle on top of an incredibly difficult to climb mountain. (Luffy climbed drum mountain while fisher tiger climbed the red line) Ok the parallels are getting too real...
One more for ya: Imu is another trapped princess. Specifically, an analog to Shirahoshi. The idea is this: At the end of the void century, the Gorosei captured the princess of the ancient kingdom only to discover under interrogation that she can control the weapon that the ancient kingdom was using to dominate the world. They force the immortality operation on her and lock her in the flower room. Perhaps they wipe her memory. PERHAPS, the only way to make her forget that she wasn't always the Queen of the World was to erase ALL memory of the ancient kingdom using Pudding's memory fruit. The Strawhats won't *defeat* Imu. They will *free* Imu. The reason the World Government fear the truth of the void century getting out is that the Gorosei worry what Imu might do if she ever finds out who she really is, and what was done to her and her people. It's not about what the people would do if they heard the name of the ancient kingdom. It's what IMU would have done that forced them to kill Clover and destroy Ohara.
That Pangaea Castle is that ancient weapon. It looks like the firing point AND is one way to get to the moon. Mihawk is an animated sword, and from Mary Geoise/Pangaea. He's looking for a worthy wielder. Zoro could use Mihawk to free Imu. The 'Dark King' wasn't able to wield him and received the same wound as Zoro on his attempt. With Asura, the 'Dark King' was only able to conquer the malevolent (danava) or wields the Vritra blade. Zoro will conquer both the dark/light (danava/adityas) and wield Varuna/Vritra blades and Mihawk by the end of the series. I believe Roger will manifest in a devil fruit, and I hope Usopp eats it.
If all devil fruits are artificial, then does that mean that each subsequent user passes on some instinctual knowledge in its use? It'd make sense because momonosuke being the first user of his fruit has to do everything the hard way, but might imprint his will onto the fruit.
The seven deadly sins theory works better if you assign them correctly. Boa - Lust (obviously) Crocodile - Greed (is always greedy with his ambitions) Mihawk - Sloth (always lazy just wanting to live a peaceful life) Moria - Envy (Was envious of kaidos power leading him to try find a way to match that power with oars) Doflamingo - Gluttony (has an insatiable hunger for power and will do anything to get it) Jinbe - Pride (pride and honor of a fishman) Kuma - Wrath (since he was apparently a tyrant)
@@rakionyellowmind2293 oh I know it probably is a lie but it fits the best and since he doesn't have his original personality we don't know yet what he was like before
Lazy doesn’t work for Mihawk he’s not sitting at home drinking wine all day he’s living off the land farming training .. living peacefully isn’t lazy so it doesn’t work ..
If this would be the "One Piece Iceberg" then you would be right, but this video is about the "One Piece THEORY Iceberg", so it contains theories only, also some really dumb and funny ones. Makes sense right?
I have this wild idea that the world we know is set in a moon from another, bigger world. Some points I take is One Piece itself, that might be a solar map or something showing that the world is a moon. And that’s why Roger laughed at Laugh Tale, because he saw how tiny his struggle to go around the world was compares to the bigger world. The tenryubitto dressed like astronauts might aswell be because their ancestors were from the bigger world(?) And the bigger world also might explain why giants like Oars exists. It’s just a silly theory I have, didn’t do any research at all, it just stuff that I remember from mind. What do you think?
I imagine that could be the end war spin. Luffy is the one captured and about to lose his head, ala Marineford/Rougetown, and absolutely everyone shows up.
Or the opposite and no one tries to save him bc pirate alliances are doomed to fail and they choose there respective countries over luffy but I doubt this
Roger is not dead they killed the wrong Roger a doppelganger Dragon was at the execution to say goodbye because his friend who was chief before sabo agreed to sacrifice himself who also happened to have the clone clone fruit!!! He had a terminal disease and he wanted to die Roger and Dragon tricked the world government!!! Roger is on the final island protecting the one piece also Roger is panda man lol
honestly, Usop always was the bravest since the start. he's the one who's constantly the aware of his impending demise but sticks with the crew the wholle way through. and despite always having a away out he doesn't ditch the crew out of fear but out of loss of the ship. if valor is surpassing fear, then there's not a single more valorous char in the entire show
I love the idea of the One Piece being the adventure. I'm actually hoping it's a giant chest filled with a single coin.... and Gol D. Roger somehow had this one coin emblazoned with a skull with a straw-hat. 🏴☠️🤔
Shanks knew the history of joyboy since he was a kid, his goal has always been to fight joyboy. So he stole the fruit and let it picked its next user. He just wasnt expecting a kid to eat it. He sacrificed his arm so luffy would never forget about him
Shanks is the only person who appeared during Wano that I'd say is both a "lurking legend" and probably will be their "strongest opponent yet" (assuming they fight at someone point later, which a lot of people are sure will happen)
Joyboy's apology letter (the Poneglyph in the Fishman island) to Poseidon isnt because he did something bad , but because Luffy will destroy the Grand line and the Fishman island (which is located under the Grand line) in order to achieve his dream.
Not sure if you've noticed, but all admirals have realistic facial features, like human noses. Since Coby is designed like an anime character without human-like features, I feel like if he has to become an admiral, it will be after another potential timeskip where his character design includes human-like features.
If you go back to the episode where luffy and zoro first meet Blackbeard, blackbeards asks luffy a question and luffy ignores him and walks past him and nami says are u just going to ignore HIM and zoro says that’s not a him it’s THEM, I find it amazing that zoro was the one to point that out since his demon form (move) Asura also gives him 3 heads, like a monster recognizes a monster
Alright, this is quite a bit late to the vid, but I just realized something. Luffy's association with 56 actually has a crazy coincidence with Roger's death. The 56th element is Barium, which is often highly toxic. The common safety procedures when dealing with toxic Barium is to wear a rubber suit and avoid anything electric. I don't think the One Piece is a lump of Barium, but Luffy having rubber powers draws a neat parallel to this real-life situation, where he may be the only one capable of handling treasure and guiding it to its end.
I’ve always subscribed to the idea that the One Piece isn’t an object but the experience of being a pirate on the Grand Line. That the King specifically said that the search for the One Piece would have pirates on a journey around the whole world. So his dying wish was secretly to keep piracy alive. And that he does by making this mystery that keeps people on the seas, having adventures for decades upon decades.
39:54 - One other option for the Mr 10 Caribu theory is that their designs often incorporated their name or number into it (Mr. 3's head, Mr. 2's Swans, Mr 4's outfit has a 4 on the front), and the X on the front of Caribu's shirt is also the roman numeral for ten. (it's also why "X Drake" is "Diez Drake")
On the Usopp being the narrator... that puts a whole new spin on the fact that the lies he tells in the story have a tendency to come true. Are the Lies we hear the actually lies he tells at the moment, or have the lies been altered by his future self telling the story, as hints and hooks to keep those who are listing/reading/watching it invested in the story? Like the lie about the army on the original island. It might have been a smaller or larger number in actuality, but he changed it to match the future army's size.
I've seen various recommend Iceberg videos when I searched about Alternate Reality Games/Unfiction stories. This is the first time I see the concept by Ohara. The rules of how the video is presented is a good process to explain the lore/theories of a fictional story with it's characters, world building, mysteries and possible outcomes.
I'd say its a pretty deep Iceberg as far as theories go and even when Oda provides answers that just leads to more theories (like Vegapunk's recently revealed theory on how Devil Fruits come into existence) making the iceberg go deeper and deeper!
Everytime people question who the next strawhat will be, I think about how it took Jimbei HUNDREDS of episodes/chapters to officially become a straw hat, so it's still entirely possible that Carrot/Yamato could end up joining. I think Yamato is most likely considering Momo is able to remain as the official Shogun of Wano, but Carrot would need to find a replacement for herself as leader of the Mink tribe which I think is unlikely. Maybe when Wano opens its borders, Momo and Carrot will both join the straw hats as Allies but otherwise I dont think it's likely that they would actually join the crew
yeah this is a late reply but whatever. I also think that Yamato still has a shot at being the next straw hat, namely because there's still some loose ends with Wano, borders not open is the primary one, but also Zoro's heritage, and the underwater Wano with Pluton means to me that it's highly likely we'll return to it in the future, much like how we'll probably return to Fishman Island for the Noah and Poseidon
@@deezdonSomething would have to happen to Alabasta for Vivi to leave it. She made it clear she is the ruler and will sacrifice her own happiness to serve as ruler. I love Vivi and I would love for her to be a member of the crew. I just don’t know how it would happen and still be true to her character.
Dadan is Luffy's mom. Period. I'm sure Oda thinks the same. To me, when he says that he has shown Luffy's mom several times he meant Dadan. She's the woman that raised and educated him, along with Ace (and Sabo to a certain extent). To be certain of this you only need to see the scene when Garp came back to Foosha Village, everyone was so sad about Ace's death, of course including Dadan, but she was the only one to understand that the one whos suffering the most was not Garp for not being able to save Ace, but Luffy for having to watch his brother die in front of him. Only a mother would understand such a thing and understand that though Ace's death is heartbreaking, Luffy is still alive and his pain and suffering is the main priority now. To me, on that scene, it completely sealed the deal that Dadan is indeed Luffy's mom and thats it. You can see how irrelevant for Oda is who Luffy's biological parents are when Garp revealed that Dragon is his dad. Nothing changed for Luffy. It was a cool and surprising reveal to us, the audience, but for Luffy, knowing who his biological dad is was something super irrelevant, Luffy has barely even mentioned him because he probably barely even remembers him. Garp, despite being his grandad, is a far stronger "dad figure" to Luffy that what Dragon is. This to me signifies that even if Luffy's biological mom is someone super important to us, the audience, its someone completely irrelevant for Luffy, since he probably considers Dadan her mom, he raised him and took care of him, Ace and Sabo and thats how Oda has portrayed her, this is why to me, when Oda said that he has drawn Luffy's mom several times, he is refering to Dadan, not to the mysterious woman that gave birth to Luffy.
On a similar note Nami had a mom and it doesn't matter if they are biologically related or not. Adoptive parents are real parents in all ways that matter and it would feel wrong to give Nami this backstory with this beautiful family and then turn around and make a big deal about a blood relative.
I think it’d be interesting to further differentiate icebergs not just on how accurate they are. The least controversial way to do this is just split it into three columns and have one be “confirmed true” one be “confirmed false” and the rest be unknown. The more controversial way to do it is to make it a left to right gradient where even the unknown ones that aren’t hard confirmed get ranked by how likely they are to be true or not.
I don't know if it's anything popular but I have another theory regarding Blackbeard and Shanks. Mainly because I don't want Shanks to die xD But while I do think Blackbeard and Shanks will fight each other and Blackbeard will severely hurt Shanks, I also think that Luffy will somehow arrive and save the day in some kind of parallel to what happened in Marineford with Shanks stopping the war... Idk it would be a good way to show Luffy's progress and to demonstrate how great of a pirate he became to Shanks without having the two of them fight it off to the death or something xD I don't think it's likely (too easy, Oda-sensei wouldn't be so nice...) but I like this idea!
About Jewelry Bonney, she still could be from the void century if we assume Kuma also is. This also opens some explanations we're missing, like what happened to Kuma and why could Vegapunk be so charitable? Maybe he was always a robot from the start, Vegapunk just pretended to change him while merely studying him. We also know someone able to travel people into the future, so that's another possibility.
I think the theory that the D stands for dreamer is better. Every devil fruit is created by the dreams and wishes of the people. The more people had the same thoughts or wishes, the stronger the devil fruit. Luffys strawhat stands symbolicly for a promise made by ruffy and shanks. This would also explain what Blackbeard meant back then on mock town. A man dream will never die. This also means that something will only be lost and forgotten if the humans forget it. That’s why the government renamed the nika nika no mi to Gomu gomu, so the people will forget about nika and imu sama wins
D stands for dreams, everyone with a D in their name has inherited some sort of will or dream that someone in the distant past had. Toki (Odens wife) was from the void century and she dreamed the prophecy that Orochi was sure would come true. Tokis dreams came true, it's safe to say perhaps people from the void century had capabilities of manifesting dreams (devil fruits are evidence, haki of supreme king is manifesting a powerful dream)
While recruiting his pirate crew, he asked each of their dreams and made sure that he would help them achieve their dreams unlike other captains who made their crew give up their dreams to follow the captains goals only. 💯
I personally think that BB's df can copy other fruits after he kill their previous user. At start the df is dark dark, because it hasn't found any other forms. So when kills a df user he can copy the df abilities.
One interesting theory I'd like to point out is the "X marks the spot" theory. Basically laugh tale is actually under reverse mountain. Because on the one piece map their is an "X" shaped by the water currents on reverse mountain and would definitely be an Oda move to hide it in front of our eyes like that this entire time. It could also explain why nobody has even stumbled upon it while sailing through the new world, the odd currents going up reverse mountain, and could also play in well with destroying the redline since it's right underneath!
I like the idea of Carrot eating the Snow fruits. It realy would fit her and her mink powers, they'd make her really strong together, and I feel like Carrot would unlock its true potential
17:36 To me, that looks a lot like Shiki. Shiki has blonde spiky hair and a yellow-and-orange-striped robe, so it fits, plus we know Shiki fought Roger's crew at one point in the Battle of Edd War. He lost, and afterward he came to respect Roger, so maybe he tracked members of Roger's crew down to meet them and that's why he met up with Crocus. The wiki page for Shiki even says that a doctor told him not to remove the part of the wheel lodged in his head, so maybe that doctor was Crocus! Finally, looking at the mystery person's knee, it appears to be made out of wood. Shiki's legs are swords since he replaced them after cutting them off to escape Impel Down. So I think that's Shiki meeting with Crocus, but Gaban is a cool idea and I definitely want to see more of him in the series.
People have never brought this up when discussing theories about Yamato and carrot joining, literally in the first two episodes Luffy says and I quote “a crew of about 10 should do”
I love the 7 Warlords as an analogy of the 7 deadly sins theory. It fits too, if you think about it. At least the original 7: Pride - Dracule Mihawk: The worlds greatest swordsman is bound to be prideful of that fact, and he is. Greed - Bartholomew Kuma: Labeled a horrible, greedy tyrant for not wanting to pay the heavenly tribute while king. Wrath - Donquixote Doflamingo: Killed his father for revoking their celestial dragon status and everything that happened as a result. Envy - Jinbe: Envious of the freedom humans have in the world in the sun while his people are forced below the waves or sold as slaves. Lust - Boa Hancock: ( . )( . ) Gluttony - Crocodile: Sand consumes all. It absorbs all moisture, it erodes great cities, and eventually returns all to sand. Sloth - Gecko Moria: Didn't see any use in putting in real effort into being a pirate, instead relying on an army of shadow zombies to try and carry him to victory.
Just because someone envies one thing doesnt mean he is envy. Boa envies everyone who can be around luffy, I would argue she is more envious than any other warlord
Doflamingo's wrath is essentially a by-product of his Greed. Him not following in his father's footsteps is because he has been taught that he is entitled to everything. Him wanting to destroy this world the Celestial Dragons control is a form of "if I can't have it, then you can't have it"- a greedy logic.
@@erwinsmith5038 Well yeah, when you break it down, all 7 sins are rather interconnected. But it's all about where they ultimately land, not everything leading up. Doffy was envious of the other Celestial Dragons after his dad did what he did. That envy turned to greed, and that greed turned to wrath.
since im a longer sub here nothing is really that new to me cause ohara tries to cover almsot everything thats going on in and around one piece but you still have to appreciate the passion and work he put into all these videos and especially this one. never change big boy. legend.
Dragon's Devil Fruit is a Mythical Human fruit named for Astraeus, god of the Wind. In greek myth, Aeolus's wife is Eos or "Dawn". By that logic, East Blue Commander Belo Betty is Luffy's mom. She also fits in with the description of Luffy's mom Oda gave in SBS as a strict sort of a woman.
The most convincing theory I’ve read about the One Piece treasure is that it’s Joyboy comic book/ manga about Joyboy/Nika that might be titled Binks’ Sake , a fun story as fun as the One Piece manga we know. That’s why Roger Pirates laughed when they saw it, hence Laugh Tale.
There are 2 sides of the same coin, each representing opposing themes. Why would the D clan be different, after all it's highly likely that they were betrayed by one of their own. So there's 2 different meanings of the D, one being the Dawn and one being the Dusk. Imu, Rocks, Blackbeard all represent the Dusk side and maybe some others as well, we'll see. And Luff, Roger and the rest represent the Dawn, at the end of the story finally overcoming their own dark side, the Dusk family part. Edit: kinda like Cain and Abel, considering some Christianity themes throughout the story, with Jesus overcoming the sins in the end, giving salvation and freedom to humanity
Luffy's Gear 5 is the awaken version and he can do anything he wants as long as he imagines it. even if he gets sick, he will be able to grab that virus and put it away in a jar or even his lifespan can be grabbed back. remember, joyboy is the most powerful because his ability is based on his imagination.
The Tashigi being Kuina, I like that one a lot. Ever since Big Mom had amnesia, I said maybe Kuina didn't actually die but actually passed out and woke up later not remembering anything, and therefore all the training she had as a kid. However, he passion for sword is still there. And maybe the reason Tashigi doesn't seem that strong is because that insecurity she had about being a woman holds her back from what she's truly capable of. Now this theory may not be true, however if it is true, then I'm sure we'll see Tashigi remembering everything and become one of the greatest swordsman in the world. Maybe she'll hit her head or she'll see something, idk but either way, I like the theory about Kuina being Tashigi
Luffy's mom being drawn already is cause Oda considers Dadan to be Luffy's mother (obviously not literally) He described Luffy's mothers personality and it was an exact match to Dadan's personality later. Oda also said that Luffy's mothers identify is not important to the story so it cant be crocodile or Im.
When talking about the meaning of the D, I'm pissed no one ever mentions who luffy was raised by. Dadan. Da-Dan. Da-Dawn. The-Dawn. It couldn't be more in our face than that really.
9:15 I was totally under the impression that monster point being a temporary awakening was essentially confirmed. I guess we are talking about the tip of the iceberg but still. I was also under the impression that Crocodile was probably the first awakened Devil-Fruit user we saw. He spoke about developing devil fruit abilities in relation to his "desiccation" power. Absorbing moisture and turning his surroundings into sand he can manipulate is really similar to the paramecia awakenings we've seen.
@@ofimportance5458 Crocodile was turning almost whole buildings into sand, which is quite a lot stronger than most other logia's effects on their surroundings. Luffy won that fight cuz crocodile didn't put any points into Haki apparently lmao
My theory is, that in order to revive joyboy , they have to feed the Hito Hito no Mi, model: NIKA to joyboy's original straw hat, but they grabbed one piece of original straw hat and made a smaller straw hat that luffy wears at the moment, it's shown in the series if you eat someone with a devil fruit power you'll inheret the power , luffy will at one moment die while wearing the hat , essentially feeding luffy to the hat. Maybe the D. In the name stands for Death as the people that are born with the initial D. Have their purpose intertwined with their death.
I'm pretty sure at one point in the manga Sengoku states that Garp didn't take a higher role in the navy because he hates working with/for celestial dragons. This would give even more credence to the Garp is a part of sword theory.
He liked the freedom of being a vice admiral, admiral would have tied him up with regulations, vice admiral has power, influence and a lot less strings
@@HovektheArtist Admirals and the Fleet admiral take orders directly from the WG elders and Celestial Dragons. 1) Garp is a pretty righteous person. Having had many fights with Roger (gaining mutual respect and trust), Shiki, Rocks (Rock Valley incident), Garp realises not all pirates are bad and WG ain't always good. 2) Roger probably told the secret of the WG and void century to W. beard and Garp. 3) Realising WG is wrong in many ways, Garp prolly told Dragon (might have joined the Marines initially) and formulated a plan to reform the Marines, but Dragon took a separate path and started the Rev Army. (Garp wanted his real and surrogate grandchild to be a Marines to forward his cause). 4) Losing Ace and the way Marines behaved in marine Ford arc further cemented his belief that the Marines have to be better and separate from the W G and Celestial dragons. 5) Staying a V. Admiral lets him be a powerful and well respected hero with the Marines. For Garp, this is the best way to legally reform the Marines, secretly working from the inside to establish Sword. 6) His hate of C dragons fuels his hatred toward Shanks who is a C Dragon. He influenced Luffy to become a pirate deviating him from becoming a Marine as Garp initially intended. 7) In the end, Sword will work together with Rev Army to overthrow the WG and C Drags, to build a better and just world. Source: Head cannon. 😁
Which brings more to the fact that one can become an admiral without a devil fruit hence Koby's admiral color could be anything (Orange) also the fleet admiral isn't the only one who can make one an admiral, the commander in chief also has that power aka Kong.
Oda never said Sabo was dead. Luffy said Sabo was dead. There were plenty of things in the flashback arc that actually hinted to Sabo being alive, particularly all the stuff with Dragon.
The snow bunny carrot theory makes me think of a way pirates in the new world can gather devil fruits, get a few apple trees or something simple and just kill off df users out at sea.
I love the blackbeard cerberus theory. That said, i wonder if it would be tied to barbarossa/redbeard. That would tie into having 3 colored beards. Blackbeard, whitebeard, redbeard. Supposedly redbeard was a contemporary rival of Gol d. Roger's crew.
The theory I have the most hope for is that teach has the mythical fish fish fruit model kraken and the final battle could be amazing, a giant octopus that creates earthquakes with eight legs, luffy turns the ground to rubber to stop the earth splitting, but then teach uses the ol yami-yami to turn the ground back to normal thus bringing full circle the reason why he is luffys rival and has three fruits (octopuses have 3 hearts)
Oda is a true master Being able to craft a story that gets better and better But also as it goes on the more and more sense previous chapters and motivations make sense
The only problem with Caribou being Mr 10 is that the Mr 6 pair and under are meant to have no devil fruit powers. It wouldn't make much sense if Caribou was weaker than the Mr 9 we saw at whiskey peak.
I know, I know! Shanks has got the Haki Haki fruit and in fact when he jumped in the water to save Luffy, he was severely weakened by being submerged by the liquid, and this would explain how it was even possible that the sea king could bit off his arm. That's it, it's settled.
I was never a OP theories fan but then comes Ohara and changed everything. The storytelling, Thumbnail, connecting the dots and everything else. I hope you get to 1 Million subs soon.
With dragon I’ve heard that he either has exactly what ohara said or some type of dragon fruit. Just like with momo and Kaido and the general lore of dragons themselves they have the ability to control clouds. Also his name is dragon so it’s kinda appropriate
I am surprised that you never mentioned that Blackbear aye the octopus fruit or to make it mythical, the kraken model. Octopi sleep in small batches and have three hearts so a devil fruit is linked to the heart other than the soul. Another BB theorey that I have heard is that he has multiple souls. Grandline review made a video on it a while ago which was interesting.
The video is great, got me seeing some connection I didn't see before and laugh really hard at the best ones, but I think it's a little bit unfair to put "Big Mom is a failed experiment" theory alongside those "best ones" though... I mean, after getting Kaido and BM that are bigger than humans, but smaller than giants into a picture, it was explained that Kaido is a descendant of the Oni race, but with BM it was explicitly stated that she is human. With all that mental instability, hunger rampages, superstrength and the fact that gigantification experiments were said to be executed for ages, even before vegapunk apparently. It just all matches up so perfectly. Plus the irony of her making Ceasar doing the same...
I have/have had three theories. I'm sure someone else has thought of these, but here we go: 1) Imu is actually tiny, and the straw hat is normal sized. I believe there's a perspective being implied as we only see Imu next to the hat or wanted posters (which can be made smaller if requested). Maybe Imu is Tontotta sized? I don't believe this one would come true. 2) The story with the One Piece treasure that made Roger laugh is the story we're reading now. The Straw Hats are reading their own story on Laugh Tale and we're seeing it play out in retrospect. Definitely some logistial problems there, but it'd be fun to see. 3) Devil fruits have the powers they have because that is what the fruit is believed to do. The dreams of people manifested in these fruits, and the fruit can only produce the result it has when people believe that's what it does. That's why Luffy's fruit only acted as rubber to start: Everyone believed it was the rubber fruit. A few people knew its true power, so that made it possible for Luffy to awaken the Nika powers, even without know that's what the fruit did. To him, he's still growing his power of rubber.
no. 3 i think is wrong because way back in enies lobby the chief of cp9 gave the assassins kaku and kalifa a devil fruit but he said that he do not know what powers the fruit contains, however later in the series we saw kaku and kalifa using the devil fruit power without them knowing what really is the power of the fruit. feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
@@koshka0818 No, that's definitely what happened. Since he didn't know, maybe they were in the encyclopedia and he didn't review them prior? Or that's what Kalifa and Kaku really wanted. I could also be completely wrong.
I’d be quite upset if buggy doesn’t get to have a true shining moment. I feel like he’s been set up as a like able enough to get some kind of spotlight/redemption
It took me too months after watching this video, but i finally got up to date with one piece, so now i can watch it again and actually understand the theories and data from the iceberg jgsnfnsn Thank you for being one of the reasons why i got interested into this manga ^^
I noticed in one piece that a son or daughter features goes to mother. We can see in Portgas D Ace looks like Portgas D Rouge. He only got black hair from Roger. Rebecca looks like Scarlet and same goes for Sanji. And Oda said once that he drew Luffy's mother in manga for number of times. Hence, We just have find A simple funny looking woman.
My dude I really needed a good long video to get back into my work day after thanksgiving. I appreciate all your content, and longer videos are always better.
I think there is more to devil fruits eating inanimate objects. If you look at the examples we have, ALL of them are made of metal. So I think the devil fruit is somehow mixed in when the metal object is originally forged. How else would a tanooki teapot ( in wano), the elephant sword (in Enes Lobby), and the dog cannon (in Alabasta) get their powers? Not like a tea has a sharp edge to cut a devil fruit. It also has to be specifically a zoan type fruit so the zoan's personality takes over.
some samurai or ronin have pretended to have a bad eye. This let's the opponent think they have the upper hand but in reality he only uses the other eye if it's a worthy match. It's the same as pirates and eyepatches. But yeah Zoro is definitely holding back some power in that 👁️
Ohara you forgot that you don't have to be part of the color wheel to get an admiral/vice admiral. Momousagi and brown boar were in the running for admiral before Green Bull and Wisteria Tiger got the admiral position while they stayed as vice admiral. If coby were to reach that position, I want him to be called Orange Badger
Mihawk being Kuina isn't that farfetched considering the Cross guild featuring Crocodile and Mihawk... Which would be a foreshadow that Crocomom and Kuina Mihawk could exist to boost Luffy and Zoro which would mean that Luffy finding Zoro first and Zoro being a Straw Hat Vice Captain was fated to happen... and coincidentally, Buggy Cross Guild having Mihawk and Crocodile of all the people buggy has a connection to makes so much more sense lmfao
While it could have worked it's invalidated by a very simple fact, that Mihawk, according to the data books, is now 43 years old, Zoro is 21. There clearly wasn't a 22 year age difference between Zoro and Kuina. And no, he didn't just get aged rapidly, remember that he and Shanks knew each other and were rivals back before Shanks even met Luffy. It just makes no sense when you look at all we know about the character.
you know ohara is doing something right when you can watch 1 hour of fictional pirate theories and not get bored.

that credit goes more to the fictional pirates than Ohara

I've been thinking this for a while
Here's one for you...
Usopp is getting conqs mark my word
Ussop dodges death
Wait, one piece RED is canon?
@@JoeyBoey600I don’t think so , but oda has tried to canonize it , and it could fit pretty well in the timeline

I like the idea of Usopp being the narrator. It would fit his story telling trend with One Piece being the biggest story he has ever told.
Didnt Usopp promise kaya to come back and tell Kaya real stories? Because then it would fit even better
@@ROMAGNUM45 straight facts I like this theory a lot now!
the ending being usopp back on syrup village with yassop telling kaya what happened would be amazingly heartwarming and a full circle cloursure

I absolutely respect Ohara's work ethic

Ussopp telling the story makes so much sense! When he left Kaya, he told her he'd come back and only tell true stories. What if the narrator is Ussop sitting with Kaya and telling her all about their journeys?

The cerberus theory makes extra sense because Usopp talked about fighting a cerberus as one of his 'lies'
There was a Cerberus at thriller bark too
The God Ussop theory at 16:30 has definitely turned into "the liar of Haki".

At the same time Blackbeard gave Shanks his scar.
Also there is nooo way a character besides luffy beats bb. He is gonna be the fibal villain of the story
Except the fact BB already clapped him up before the 2nd fruit.

Whoever it is though Robin definitely knows him.
we already know who the man marked by flames is.
@@solid7ony938 They still haven't named who yet and there are a lot of burnt people.
Sabo and Robin have met sooo makes sense
The Man Marked by Flames is Jaguar D. Saul, hear me out.
This MMbF is covered in Burn Scars and sails on a Black Ship surrounded by Whirlpools. We see Jaguar D. Saul get frozen solid and then bombarded on O’Hara. This event alone would cause full body Frostburns as well as Burn Scars from the Flames on Ohara, with recent chapter we know that Saul is alive and kickin
His Black Ship was made from the wood of the Knowledge Tree on Ohara, this would explain the Black Ship…
We’ve never seen the Road Poneglyph from Fishman Island!

Didn’t they say it might be giant Saul since he survived

And it’s the only fruit to need Haki to use
No because the gorosei actively search for new members. The youngest member in fact was told he is the newest addition in one of the chapters. Why would they need replacements to the five elder stars if they live forever.
Imu however definitely has immortality.
It's more likely they are just really really old like Dr Kureha. They should have access to the best doctors on the planet, Kureha is also a doctor so she knows how to stay healthy but best yet;
Drum island had that whole Wapol keeping all the doctors of the island for himself segment which could be parallel to the Gorosei situation. They also both reside in just another castle on top of an incredibly difficult to climb mountain. (Luffy climbed drum mountain while fisher tiger climbed the red line)
Ok the parallels are getting too real...
One more for ya:
Imu is another trapped princess.
That's clever
@@FreakyFreddy gorosei straight gaslighting imu in the final battle would hit, would it not? ;)

@@joselase6894 I see you understand the assignment.
Boa - Lust (obviously)
Crocodile - Greed (is always greedy with his ambitions)
Mihawk - Sloth (always lazy just wanting to live a peaceful life)
Moria - Envy (Was envious of kaidos power leading him to try find a way to match that power with oars)

The tenryubitto dressed like astronauts might aswell be because their ancestors were from the bigger world(?)
And the bigger world also might explain why giants like Oars exists.

Luffy also wants 10 shipmates. 10 crew plus himself is 11, 5+6=11

Oda specifically states the One Piece is a real treasure and that he dislikes vague notions like “it’s the friends we made along the way”.
A theory I really like is the one where the one piece is some sort of key or weapon capable of destroying the red line
Damn... how much work has gone into this video....respect and thank you @ohara
Vivi's a possibility, too.
yeah this is a late reply but whatever.
Yamato and ViVi still seem the most likely to me tbh
@@deezdonSomething would have to happen to Alabasta for Vivi to leave it. She made it clear she is the ruler and will sacrifice her own happiness to serve as ruler.
I love Vivi and I would love for her to be a member of the crew. I just don’t know how it would happen and still be true to her character.
25:47 I think there’s actually TWO D Clans!! One was Dawn Clan, the other was the Demon Clan!!!
That’s why there’s a mixed prophesy about the D
It could also be Dawn and Dusk.
Crocodile is Luffy’s mom though
@@O.Reagano yea sure, especially because it makes a lot of sense
@@BaghNakh1 I mean it makes more sense then most one piece theories lol
@@DieAlteistwiederda it's not wrong to want to find out your biological parents.
Mainly because I don't want Shanks to die xD
But while I do think Blackbeard and Shanks will fight each other and Blackbeard will severely hurt Shanks, I also think that Luffy will somehow arrive and save the day in some kind of parallel to what happened in Marineford with Shanks stopping the war... Idk it would be a good way to show Luffy's progress and to demonstrate how great of a pirate he became to Shanks without having the two of them fight it off to the death or something xD
I don't think it's likely (too easy, Oda-sensei wouldn't be so nice...) but I like this idea!

It could also explain why nobody has even stumbled upon it while sailing through the new world, the odd currents going up reverse mountain, and could also play in well with destroying the redline since it's right underneath!
this theory is not new at all. and believably can be the case for most of theorist
I like the idea of Carrot eating the Snow fruits. It realy would fit her and her mink powers, they'd make her really strong together, and I feel like Carrot would unlock its true potential
Just caught up with the One Piece manga after starting in June, very happy to have found this channel to crave my theory hunting🙏🏻
Congrats, man. I did the same this year too.
Shut up
People have never brought this up when discussing theories about Yamato and carrot joining, literally in the first two episodes Luffy says and I quote “a crew of about 10 should do”
I love the 7 Warlords as an analogy of the 7 deadly sins theory. It fits too, if you think about it. At least the original 7:
Pride - Dracule Mihawk: The worlds greatest swordsman is bound to be prideful of that fact, and he is.
Lust - Boa Hancock: ( . )( . )
Gluttony - Crocodile: Sand consumes all. It absorbs all moisture, it erodes great cities, and eventually returns all to sand.
Sloth - Gecko Moria: Didn't see any use in putting in real effort into being a pirate, instead relying on an army of shadow zombies to try and carry him to victory.
Nice theory
Yeah I think Ohara blew through that bit a bit too hastily tbh!
Hi ohara
Before I started watching you i never heard of one piece but you showed me this Amazing story
What about the funeral conducted for her?
could be empty casket nothing was revealed i believe
Hoping for Vegapunk to reveal how Den Den Mushi (and its variations) works in the current arc.
It doesnt mean it cant be them. It just means he doesnt consider her identity important TO the story
When talking about the meaning of the D, I'm pissed no one ever mentions who luffy was raised by.
Dadan. Da-Dan. Da-Dawn. The-Dawn.
It couldn't be more in our face than that really.
Good thoughts
The Clan of D stands for the Clan of Dadan? I'm with it!
Logias naturally affect the environment
@@ofimportance5458 Crocodile was turning almost whole buildings into sand, which is quite a lot stronger than most other logia's effects on their surroundings. Luffy won that fight cuz crocodile didn't put any points into Haki apparently lmao
It hasn't been officially confirmed that monster point is the awakened form I'm kind of worried for what Robin's awakened form will be
My theory is, that in order to revive joyboy , they have to feed the Hito Hito no Mi, model: NIKA to joyboy's original straw hat, but they grabbed one piece of original straw hat and made a smaller straw hat that luffy wears at the moment, it's shown in the series if you eat someone with a devil fruit power you'll inheret the power , luffy will at one moment die while wearing the hat , essentially feeding luffy to the hat.
4) Losing Ace and the way Marines behaved in marine Ford arc further cemented his belief that the Marines have to be better and separate from the W G and
Celestial dragons.

The problem with Oda saying things is that he also said that Sabo was dead... so I take anything he said with a grain of salt
Yo good point
Oda never said Sabo was dead. Luffy said Sabo was dead. There were plenty of things in the flashback arc that actually hinted to Sabo being alive, particularly all the stuff with Dragon.
The snow bunny carrot theory makes me think of a way pirates in the new world can gather devil fruits, get a few apple trees or something simple and just kill off df users out at sea.

How sick would it be to have a series based on Garp and his journey up to becoming the marine hero
I'd love to see a Gol D Roger or Rocks series too
I love the blackbeard cerberus theory.

Ive heard cerberus wich makes more sense because of his 3 skulls theme.
Brook is Kusan's grandfather theory is so unexpected but so perfect...
Why bc they’re both black? 💀 Stereotype much?
I have/have had three theories. I'm sure someone else has thought of these, but here we go:
1) Imu is actually tiny, and the straw hat is normal sized.
2) already disproven because Oda has confirmed OP is a physical reward

Pink Panther xD
