    I'm a Phillies Fan. Looking forward to the July 29 through July 31 3-game series between the Phillies and Yankees. Your show is the best Yankees UA-cam channel. Your quality, content, coverage, and especially the new format you've introduced, establishes your show as superior to any other Yankees channel on UA-cam. Keep up the great work. I wish you would cover the Phillies, but we can't have everything.

      Yankees fan here from South Philly. You guys have some of the best fans in baseball. I am going to try to catch one of the games this year. I went to the series back in 2021 and it was one of the best games I've been to (even though we lost in extras).

      @@mikerotonda6264 Thanks for the recommendation. Regarding the comment about the Phillies, everyone is entitled to their opinion. The Orioles have sucked for over 40 years, but that didn't stop them from scoring 17 runs on the Yankees yesterday. It would be best to thank the Phillies for the Yankees 2009 World Series win. The last time I checked, since 2001, the Phillies and Yankees have one World Series win each.

    I was disappointed and disgusted last night until I saw the game summaries in the Web. It appeared that the Orioles had one of those nights where everything they did worked. They didn't just hit Gil. They smashed up every pitcher we sent to the mound. No one could stop them. Our weaknesses are real. The Torres situation has to be resolved. LeMahieu is doing a slow fade into retirement. Rizzo has never been the same since he took that hip to the head. However, last night may not have been as bad as it looked. The Yankees have thumped teams that way and then lost to the same team the next day. I am hoping that is all it was. Time will tell. Thanks for the video.

    If a pitcher is doing fairly well and their pitch count is low, let the man continue pitching! Why does Boone always take out players who are doing well and not tired??? He's such a curse to this team. We have not reached our potential since he became manager. I can't wait until we get a new one!!

    The bullpen is the key...we can't keep going into the 8th or 9th inning with the lead and losing the game late.
    Championship teams have shutdown bullpen late in the game. This is on Cashman to deliver for the bullpen. Mason Miller what ever it takes. You want to win in the last few innings get a shut down closer.

    Got a LOT to figure out moving forward. But yesterday, was yesterday. Gotta move forward. Lets focus on the Braves right now. Thats what is coming up. We cant do ANYTHING about yesterday other than learn from it and move forward. Facts for the fans losing their s**t after yesterdays loss. We are lucky that we got exposed in June and not in Aug. We def need someone like Tanner Scott in our BP. Hes my pick for sure to help the BP moving forward. Im sure the Yanks will get what they need to help fix some of these holes that have been exposed. For sure. Think positive folks, we are still one of the BEST teams in baseball. Were not the only team showing their issues in their loses. Facts.

    Yankees fans cheering intentional hit by pitches is something I just can't fathom. Orioles don't play that brand of baseball so Yankees can try to provoke the Oriole players all they want, but the Orioles were just focused on scoring more runs, not who hits the most batters....but for the record in 2024 - Yankees have hit 9 Orioles and Orioles have hit 3 Yankees. I think your show is great! As an AL East fan, I listen from time to time and appreciate the analysis. But many personalities on WFAN, etc...were just over the top in calling on the Yankee pitchers to hurt the Orioles star players. I think that brand of baseball is just fading a bit with the new generation of players. HBP is an unfortunate part of the game. Was just disappointed as a baseball fan to hear what sounded like most of the stadium cheering when the Yankees intentionally tried to injure Gunnar.

      Believe it or not, I was disappointed too. I dont care for beanball wars - I'd rather they stuck to baseball. I don't mind trash talk, but when it escalates to guys getting hit by pitches, someone can be lost for the season and that's no fun.

    Again the Yankees still have the time to fix their issues. It all depends on what the organization will do and get some good players and not scraps to again treat it as a project. And with Gil I mean come on. Now people don’t want to support him cause he messed up. He seems a little tired and even Pedro Martinez pointed this out and that was like 2 weeks ago. He will be fine but yes he needs to be on an innings limit and rest him more often now. It’s still a long season
    Again fix your needs at second and third and get some bullpen arms. Easier said than done but this is the richest organization in baseball…use your might to get the best to win it THIS SEASON.

    • @cro4194
      @cro4194 6 днів тому

      None of them, if my memory serves right, are real strikeout pitchers, maybe aside from Holderman. Even then, Holderman would probably demand a lot of prospects since he still has a few years of team control. Maybe Justin Lawrence of the Rockies is a slightly better candidate. Don't let the ERA deceive you, he has nasty stuff. He can throw 100 mph sidearm for one.

    Soto was over amplified from the start. He got off to a great start but players typically play to the back of their card. He is an awful fielder and base runner. Because of his elite batting and what he does to this Yankees lineup, the Yankees should offer 500m/10 yrs. If not go to the Mets or whoever. Take our chances with jones and Dominguez and keep verdugo.

      I’m saying Soto isn’t the only way to win a championship in the Aaron judge era. Especially at any cost and hamstringing the rest of your team, like the bullpen. Bc they aren’t winning a championship with this bullpen either. Especially for a crappy fielder and base runner. Quit burying your head in the sand and thinking Soto is the only solution. Winning a championship takes a complete roster.

But you’re knocking Soto by giving backup plans in case he doesn’t return & those backup plans will result in not winning a ring in the Aaron judge era that’s all im saying . Yes it takes a complete roster you’re not wrong but without Soto it’s back to 2023 where teams pitch around judge and make the rest of the lineup beat them . Volpe is emerging too! Regarding all the batters being hit by inside pitching… the price for a Pitcher hitting a batter needs to go UP!
    Instead of awarding 1st base to a hit-batter… award them 3rd base (or a home-run if they get hit in the head). If the bases are already occupied, those runners also score. I think this will motivate pitchers to pitch inside far more carefully.
