    Great work as always Mike! Koni/GC has always been a favorite of mine, I used them on my honda build back in the day and truly enjoyed how it drove. Can't wait to put my condor bushings into my 2002 now!

    Chromatic it’s 3:53 am I just finished steam cleaning my wheel wells and fender liners separately. 303 on top! Next will be getting at the brake calipers with a wire wheel and paint. You’ve helped me detail the shit out of my beam thx for all the kick ass videos.

    Great video. Would recommend swapping out the bolts connecting the end link bracket to the subframe for a longer one. Should have a couple of exposed threads after the nylock, in order for the nylock to be effective.

    Love your videos. Remember that the rear shocks/dampers are meant to be tightened to spec with the vehicle sitting on the ground. This will prevent the rubber bushing from being twisted out of its place.

    Fantastic JOB! But i can give you a advice, torq the suspension components to spec with the car on the ground. if you torq for example the shock absorber on the lift, the bushings will tear pretty quickly.

      Not necessary with spherical or poly/Delrin type of bushings with the separate inner metal sleeve, that can rotate freely. That advice only applies to rubber bushings that have a bonded sleeve that cannot freely rotate.

      @@Patrick94GSR The question would be, what type of bushing do those Koni have? If rubber, then it needs to be torqued with the car on the ground.

      @@lukathegarlic well yeah, if it's a bonded sleeve then torque at ride height. But I think that's the only bushing that may have that issue. The others shown in the video can freely rotate and so do not need to be preloaded at ride height.

      @@ChromaticGarage UHMW has a low coefficient of friction and is self-lubricating plastic, so truly there is no need to use grease on these parts.

    Why are you torquing the bolt and not the nut?

      Typically that’s only a problem if one end is a different size/and or flanged. That wasn’t the case here

    Looks great! Just a heads up the rear shock bolt gets torqued when it’s at ride height/loaded.

    Nice video love it. You probably going to regret all those solid bushing. Makes the car drove like crap as a road car. Something in between oem rubber and solid makes the car less annoying imo.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn’t bushings be torqued with the car on the ground?

      The short answer is yes. But every situation is different. When dealing with bushings this hard you’re not really concerned about torsional twisting as you are with oem style pushing. In this case I may also have to remove the subframe again to get the gas tank in properly

      This type of am bushings rotate freely even after torquin. But that lower shok mount is going to tear after a year because its molded to the outter shel of the bushing and cant rotate.

      I only use OEM specifications for this stuff. Only loctite on parts that are supposed to have it

    Those rear end link brackets (skinnier opening and extended bolt) are exactly what I'm after asking have reinforced trailing arms also. Do you have a link to where these are sold?

      Yeah they’re very good! They’re part of the ST Suspension E30 sway bar kit
