Your camera job has been on another level lately, the intro is a work of art 👌 I think that my ultimate dream currently would be to have a workshop like yours, with tons of space and equipment to restore vintage OEM+ BMWs or japanese cars down to the bare chassis. (then I remember I live in a small apartment, and just got my E36 323ti's sills poorly undercoated again because rust always come back... hope one day it can get properly treated like one of your cars! )

the opening shots were straight fire my dude. At first with the purple power, i was like damn this man spraying that without a mask, he got iron lungs, then you put the mask on, haha. This E30 turning out so clean man, cant wait to see it all done!
Love the content man! For the POR15 if you use a self tapping screw in the lid instead of popping it off you can get a lot more life out of a can! Just pour it into a small cup and go to town!

Abtut those cans, i forgot the name. If you drill a hole inside the lid and pour out the amount you need and then put a screw inside the hole, ist is supposed to hold much longer.
I thought that stuff was bad because it traps moisture between it and the metal. I know por 15 is great but didn't know you could put anything over it except the topcoat
YOU thought or you heard from some shmuck? Most opinions on this time of work are very bad. This was taken from two shops that lead in restoration of these specific cars
@@ChromaticGarage uh no.... this is just me asking. Again, I thought the only thing you could put over por 15 base coat was the por-15 top coat. But since this method is coming from restoration shops I'll keep it in mind 👍🏾
hey Mike, loved your approach towards the undercarriage, got an e34 myself that needs similar work done, but in Europe we don't have the POR-15, what would u reckon instead (got my eyes on these Brunox products) and 1 more thing, during my research there were several ppl saying that such undercoating is porous and in order for it to seal properly, waxcoating is recommended, how's the 3M holding up so far without such waxcoating?
