OMG...The blonde Knight with the dragon is a friend of ours! My husband and I are retired Jesters from Scarborough Renaissance Faire here in Dallas (Donk and Fidget) and he's part of our jousting troupe. Great guy, great jousting troupe!
I call shenanigans on Queen Elizabeth, I think she's an imposter with that accent and that most unruly uncontained hair. Also, congrats on being the only thing to hold Horatio the cat's attention for more than 10 seconds. He especially appreciated the axe throwing and hawks.
If you liked that you should go to the Scottish games in NY Long Island at the Old Westbury Gardens. It’s in August I believe and it’s really fun. They have many games like tug o war and you can set up tents and lay blankets on the ground to have a picnic. I think you would love it there!!!
Our Ren Fair in PA, Has more thememing. It's at a Wine brewery and it looks very much like a Medieval Village! We got a Dungeon Exzibit, A Maze, lots of Merch and Elefant rides! (Sorry, Our spelling is bad. We can't spell big or fancy words.)
During the dog days of summer when the heat is oppressive in Florida, you should come visit the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Bristol Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Chicago. You would have so much fun. There’s also a six flags nearby too.
That is so awesome to see Renaissance Festivals in different parts of the country! The one we have here in Holly, Michigan is so extravagant. You need to buy ticket as SOON as they are released otherwise you're sol lol.
If I lived closer, I'd be happy to help Jenn with her Dragon Princess Renn Faire outfit. LOL. However, I recommend Damsel in this Dress if you'd like an amazing corset.

Wow, this is SO different from the Ren Faire near me in NY, ours is a lot bigger and more crowded but I think it has a lot more to offer. I like how calm yours is though, ours can be overwhelming, especially with my anxiety.
That Renn Fair seems a bit lacking. Come to the Maryland one! The buildings are permanent structures set in the woods. It truly feel like you've stepped back in time! There are 7 outdoor theaters with constant entertainment plus several pubs with ongoing music acts!
Jen, the horse the knights in armour of the time rode were more akin to the Clydesdales that pull the Budweiser wagons. They needed to be so large to carry a knight in full armour

You guys should come out to Arizona for our Renaissance Festival. It’s one of the best and largest in the country with the grounds being specifically built just for the faire. It usually begins in February and runs every weekend until sometime in April. The food is amazing, the shows are amazing and the shops are amazing. Totally worth it. They also have a King’s Feast which you can buy tickets for and enjoy a multi course meal with the King. You can also rent or purchase era appropriate costumes. It’s awesome!!
I noticed a very good old Irish rebel song at 12 minutes and another a little later on. I feel like there was more traditional Irish goings on at this fair than at the st paddy’s day fair on this paddy’s day video.

There is a renaissance faire not far from where we live in Missouri and it is absolutely amazing. The theming is great. So immersive Its great how no one breaks character.
I love your non park videos. I try to spend at least one day on my theme park vacation just enjoying Orlando. On our honeymoon were spending 2 days in Orlando going to the animal sanctuary you visited. It looks like fun. But im.like someone else. I go to the one in NC and it is always packed.
Nothin' says wholesome, afternoon family fun quite like Rat-Flinging! :) Never go as a tourist. Tourists get called onto the stages and embarrassed in front of everyone during the shows. Dress as pirates! Talk like pirates! Hang out with other pirates! We used to always go as pirates. Pirates have the most fun :)
Wow that festival looks very fun. You guys improved in the ax throwing. Jen did it on the first try and a bullseye. Medieval rock bands, a nice jousting match, a hawk that stared right into the camera. Oh by then your beard will be longer.

You guys need to go to a SCA Event. If you like Ren Faires, you'll like SCA Events, because when they fight they not only wear "Real" Armour, but they fight no holds barred with "Rattan" Swords and Other Weapons and they will even allow you to try on some Armour.

I was about to suggest the Georgia Renaissance Faire, but even I have to admit, the NC faire is really awesome...and flat. The land is flat. Also, NC doesn't do their Faire in the middle of the hottest time of the year. So, yeah, Georgia Faire for the humidty, and hills, NC Faire for...everything else.

I second this one. We go a couple times each year. It is amazing...but crowded.
Third it, I attend regularly. Scarby is my home faire but Sherwood is my favorite.

We just got back from Scarby on opening weekend. Haven't been to Sherwood or Texas down in Houston yet.
Sherwood and TRF are 10 times better than Scarby. We would have gone to opening, but my health prevented that.

You should come to the Atlanta, Ga Ren Fest. The whole place looks like a giant castle! It runs April 15 - the first weekend in June!

It's a llama. We used to raise alpacas. They are a bit shorter and the ears are shaped differently. Both are very facinating.
The one I go to is the one that is in Morgan Hill or just south usually occurs in mid to late October.
