aesthetic... Disney bought this land and gave it to the Nature Conservancy so they could cut down natural habitat on their WDW property. So that is sad but good at the same time.
That looks amazing. The picnic on the trail is romantic. It's a nice excersize and date day. I bet bean would enjoy the trail, but the wild animals I would be scared for him. With the backpack that was cross fit, lol. Run in a zig zag formation, lol. It just seems like a peaceful walk to just relax and reflect on the day.
ROTFL @ Tim - "Alan, Alan, Steve!". That's the hardest I've laughed in a long time, thanx! :)This was so cool - I knew Disney had wilderness areas set aside they never could/would touch, but never knew you could tour them - and for free!! Wow!!
"There's a lizard right there, ooh.... nature." You guys are awesome. Wish I could see you when my fam and I go to Disney World this September. Cheers from Canada! :)
Hahahaha 6:42 “Look! There’s a lizard! *gasps* ...nature......” hahahah. I love you guys. You guys are part of my day every day. Keep up the great work!!
definitely raccoon tracks! We got to go one day with the Kissimmee Valley Audobon Society, and we rode the swamp buggy. No red-cockaded woodpeckers, but we did get to see our first scrub jays since moving to FL. That is such a wonderful, hidden gem. Thanks so much for sharing it!
OMG! The "Two paths diverged in the woods and we take the one that is not an additional 3.6 miles" part cracked me up! Of course I was expecting "we took the one less traveled".... I literally laughed so hard I cried. Also, "that was by burp" also made me laugh out loud. You guys are killin' it today. I feel a new shirt slogan... "that really burns my butt".
I live near a bunch of scrubby areas like that, and sometimes the road is a narrow paved "back-road" that feels like it was just randomly cut through a huge Savanna, and sometimes, with how sparse the trees are (both in lack of leaves/branches and in space in between each tree) and how tall the grass is, I half expect a rhino or something to just come charging out of the brush in front of my car, instead of a deer or any other typical wildlife (like a hog or turkey or something). This looks like fun, though! Another free gem to do on a possible non-park disney trip!
For someone that lives in an area with much less population of people and a lot more nature, this is funny to hear your commentary. I would be a lot more nervous about snakes and alligators though. Come on out to South Dakota and we will show some more wilderness. Love your videos no matter where you are!
Great video! I've been to a few Nature Conservancy areas in SE and SW Florida. I love your videos and that fact you show other cool things here in Florida besides just Theme Parks.
You guys crack me up :) I love watching your adventures! This video is a reminder to me why I no longer live in Fl. I would be scared of a gator too Jen
BEST CHANNEL ON UA-cam!!! Love you guys! You always put a smile on my face!!! I like every single one of your videos. Can’t wait for more content tomorrow!! 😂 “Don’t listen to my burp”
Sooooooo excited to be watching this actually in Miami. First trip to USA ever. Disney starts in a week and soooooo hoping to see you guys around having spent the last 12 months using ur blogs ad research!! Sooooooo excited!
Have you ever visited Crystal Springs? There are two parts the Springs where you can ride the glass bottomed boat and a wilderness part where you can see Florida as it was before development. It was a fabulous day and a great alternative to the parks. I think lots of people would appreciate seeing such locations.
Some extra info about this place: it had been abandoned ranch land slated to be sold and/or developed. Disney bought it as part of their environmental mitigation when they built Animal Kingdom. The preserve is being allowed to revert to indigenous flora and fauna. This video is perfectly timed, since Sunday 4/22 is not only Earth Day but also DAK’s 20th anniversary. Party For The Planet!
In our recent visit to Florida from the UK we went to the Tibet Butler nature reserve which is really near all the Disney parks. The butterflies were amazing. Saw some cranes by a lake but no alligators. Highly recommended for a quiet day away from the parks.
Makes me laugh. I live on 2 acres in CT and saw about as much nature walking in my "front yard" today. No gators though, just birds and chipmunks. City folks- LOL. This is the part of FL that I really like, other than Disney, where you see the sky and trees. I loved the footprints. So cool. Here in the northeast I remember a guided hike talking about the "lone wolf" tree. Many times it would be an oak that survived many years and is surrounded by smaller trees. That tree may have been the only tree in the area and the smaller trees have grown up years after the wolf tree was established. Just a thought for that one larger tree.
Shark Valley has alligators on the biking/hiking trail paths nearly all the time, it’s one of my favorite places to take folks visiting from out of state.
Great video. I'll be going to Florida in a week and I just might have to check that place out. I plan to spend most of my time hiking down there. I'm just really glad the shutdown is over and I can check out Ocala National forest.
Did not know this existed but now I want to visit! I live about 2hrs away from Kissimmee and I can say the landscape around here looks just like my backyard :)
I feel like I really want to take you on some British hikes. Not so heavy on the old things that might kill you nature but I get the feeling you'd be pretty blown away by a lot of it!
That's awesome you guys! I love nature trails too, but if I saw that alligator... nope! I would've very slowly headed back out. I would've been like that social media gif of Homer Simpson shrinking back into the bushes all slow-mo, because as much as I love nature, I'm not wanting to look like a happy meal with legs for some gators😅😅❤
Thats really really close to my house and when my family , friends and i went geocaching we heard gator growing and living in Florida what I learn to do in kindergarten was what you can do is run in a zig zag pattern to out run a gator and if it bits you stick your fingers up both nostrils for it to open its mouth
Can I just tell you how in love I am with the two of you! Seriously, who else could make me watch 15 minutes of someone walking a nature trail.
I love walking wilderness trails in Florida! So peaceful, so much atmosphere and listen to that sound 🍃🐾🐗🐇🐊🐟🦅🦊🌴🐞
So, if that Aligator decides "Oooh, humans! Lunch!", Tim can always do his frog bird-bear maneuver. That should scare him off. :-)
FireCracker3240 🤣
I love that Disney’s doing more things that are natural and nothing has has to be cut down!
aesthetic... Disney bought this land and gave it to the Nature Conservancy so they could cut down natural habitat on their WDW property. So that is sad but good at the same time.
Tim being a frog-bear-bird deserves a like right there. You could sit doing nothing for a half hour after this and I'd still give it a like.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Such a fun, wonderful couple.
When i walked with dogs ....it was great ..and JUST walking is so GREAT !
Great video guys promoting and protecting earth! Keep up the great work. Love and respect all animals! --Dr. Christman :-)
Shane Travels... LOL. Alligators are scary for sure, but an important part of our ecosystem. :-)
This was one of our favorite videos of y'alls so far! We enjoy them all but especially liked seeing "nature!"
I am glad it was a sunny day while you did the nature trail Tim and Jenn.
"Nature!" Gotta love Tim's excitement over being outdoors.
“A lizard! *GASP* NATURE!” 😂
Never knew Disney had a hiking trail!! Learn something new everyday.
Lol “NATURE” loved this! Pub subs + nature trails...Florida at its finest!
ROTFL @ Tim - "Alan, Alan, Steve!". That's the hardest I've laughed in a long time, thanx! :)This was so cool - I knew Disney had wilderness areas set aside they never could/would touch, but never knew you could tour them - and for free!! Wow!!
Look Jenn, nature! Lurking bunnies Bwah-ha-ha

Awesome video! Love nature trails!
"I'm sure it's fine. We'll figure it out." - literally me on every hike ever :D

Loved this video.......i laughed out loud at Jen's reaction to 'Lurking'.... Loved it. hi from England :-)
Being from the northwest, this is so interesting! Our county has so many different ecosystems.
BEST CHANNEL ON UA-cam!!! Love you guys! You always put a smile on my face!!! I like every single one of your videos. Can’t wait for more content tomorrow!! 😂 “Don’t listen to my burp”
You guys are so funny about nature. I head off trail in the High Uintas with nothing but a compass and a map to find hidden lakes.
This is so awesome! I definlty want to remember this for our next trip. I had no idea it existed. Thanks for sharing!
Hahaha, 'listen to the birds....can you hear 'em? * burp * ...that was my burp!' :-)

Loved the quiet nature moment!!!
“We did smell a skunk” yeah right, that old chestnut. Whoever smelt it, dealt it Tim! 😂

About 3 trails! Thank you for taking us!!
In our recent visit to Florida from the UK we went to the Tibet Butler nature reserve which is really near all the Disney parks. The butterflies were amazing. Saw some cranes by a lake but no alligators. Highly recommended for a quiet day away from the parks.

How did I not know that they had a hiking trail?! I love hiking.
Looks like a chilled, fun day 🙂
At the sight of the alligator I would have been back in the car.....🚗💨
Fab video, really enjoyed it! K x
Great hiking. Lots to see and a bunch of fun but my favorite part of the vlog was the family at the end. I think the smallest child is not a fan.
Love it guys!!! I love florida more than i like texas' open land to be honest!! Just something about it excites me!
We didn’t know these trails existed! Thanks for sharing. We will go hiking there next time we’re in the area.
Really enjoyed this video.
Looks like so much fun great video
Ooooh Tim Tracker + a preserve= AWESOME
Happy trails to you😎👋🏻
That's awesome you guys! I love nature trails too, but if I saw that alligator... nope! I would've very slowly headed back out. Bahaha "Alan! Alan! Alan!...wait a minute, thats not Alan thats Steve" i appreciate that reference! 😄
That was pretty cool. Thanks guys! I didn’t know you could do this at Disney. Good to know.
Juanese Buitrago., this is not exactly "at" Disney . It's about 45min or so away.
Great Video Kids, as always!!!
Loved this video! I’ve been to the Wilderness Preserve a few times and every time we go it’s been CRAZY HOT - glad it wasn’t too bad for you guys!
That Gilligan's Island reference made my day
Thats really really close to my house and when my family , friends and i went geocaching we heard gator growing and living in Florida what I learn to do in kindergarten was what you can do is run in a zig zag pattern to out run a gator and if it bits you stick your fingers up both nostrils for it to open its mouth
