The Khajiiti pantheon is my favorite from the Elder Scrolls! Even though it's true that most of their deities have equivalents in the other pantheons, there are some pretty big differences in the Khajiiti versions of them. >Azurah is seen as a goddess of magicians but also a trickster. Her tricks are well known to the Khajiit, but they love her for it because her pranks are so good. >Khenarthi is sometimes seen as being a god rather than a goddess, depending upon the source. >Hermorah is seen as the god of tides (which makes sense since he looks like a sea creature) and is seen as connected to the moons because the moons and the tides are linked. >Sangiin is seen as the god of blood, murder, and death. This is weird, because not only is it totally different from his hedonistic Imperial counterpart, but because these are concepts usually seen as being in Mephala's sphere. It does make sense though if one considers Sangiin to be related to the id and partaking in animalistic instincts and acts of passion. Hircine is also related to instincts, due to being "the hungry cat". >Mafala is recognized as a separate entity, but she seems to be just female, unlike the androgyne the Dunmer view Mephala as, and she is associated with the Clan Mothers and with the hording of secrets but not necessarily with murder and death. >Merrunz being seen as a kitten is hilarious, as is Sheggorath being known as the "Skooma Cat". >Ius, Baan Dar, and Rajhin are all very unique gods. There's a lot of lore about Rajhin in particular. My favorite detail about him is that apparently Rajhin had a companion named Umbrage, a black senche-lion who could talk and fly. So while at first glance the Khajiit's religion looks like other peoples' religion, there are very key differences in how these deities are viewed in comparison to other peoples view them, which makes Khajiiti beliefs the most awesome and unique in Tamriel, in my opinion. ;)
Yo... An in-game day in Skyrim is 72 real-time minutes... That means that a whole Tamrielic year is 18.2 real-time days long, if we were to consider the time to be one-to-one... Which is 5% of an Earth year. Then that means, every Earth year would equal ~35.5 Nirn years. I am 639 Nirn years old.
I should also note the Khajiit call Namira's realm the Dark Behind the World as opposed to the common name for it being the Scuttling Void. I tend to eat up what Namira lore I can get. She's my favourite Prince and I primarily RP followers of hers.
I have a theory about the dragon priest masks, that the dragonborn could absorb the power form them or at least take the power of the other masks and bind it to the konahriik mask, I got the the idea while writing my fan fiction. Love your video's btw
I believe I also remember reading in lore that one of their Gods is "Rah'Wulfarth", and he's basically just the Khajiiti representation of Ysmir Wulfarth.
in reference to potentially crediting sheogorath with the creation of Skooma-...... who else would be behind that? other than maybe, *maybe* sanguine, but it messes with your head enough (according to what i've seen in-game) that it's a LOT more likely imo to be sheo than sanguine. and yeah i can already hear the comments about it also just being a khajiit or other person making it themselves, but.... you really think sheo wouldn't influence the creation of a drug that has literally, canonically, *in game* made AT LEAST one person go so mad with addiction/withdrawal to the substance that he murdered his own brother because he thought he was hording the stuff?
Skooma coming from Sheogorath actually makes a lot of sense.
mehrunes dagon as a kitten is simultaneously adorable and so horrifying
Couldn't agree more.
@Gordon Ramsey Don't you have a wife, Gordon?
there needs to be an oblivion mod for that

As much as I want to say "its gameplay, dont overthink it"
Thats a cool calculation none the less
actually an in-game day in skyrim is however long you want it to be if you're on console... timescale 5 ftw XD
