Don't it make you feel GOOD TO BE LOVED BY SO MANY FANS!!..... YOUR A GOOD HUMAN BEING! GOD BLESS YOU TARYL!! I used to know an ary! But that was NOT-ARY I KNEW!
man all those old bike's bring back memory's..everybody around here rode back in the 60's and 70's
All I can say is WOW!! What a trip down memory lane with motorcycles....🏍 I am jealous!!!!!
I second the WOW! just came across this chanel. I live less than 2 hours away from this event. I was totally unaware of it until just now.
My buddy was selling parts we bought at Dixie liquidation. He told Taryl how big a fan I am and he sent an extra sticker for me. Thanks 👍
Holy crap, I have the CB100 just like the one Taryl fixed
In SoCal, all of those bikes were everywhere. The weather and the massive deserts made the perfect combination for motor sports fun. The Kawasaki and Suzuki triples were deadly quick. So much power that the Kawis would rip teeth off the sprockets. Even wrecked bikes made awesome powerplants for go carts. Maico! Those German machines (490cc) were the "top of the food chain".
I'm sorry I missed the show.
It is now a top priority for me and my 10yr old.
Not to far away from us and never heard of the event so thanks for the tip.
We'll be looking to add a few of our own vintage bikes to show😎💯🇺🇸
Not sure if they still do but the Indian Four Club used to have a swap meet at the fairgrounds in Tiffin around this time of year. Always a good time seeing vintage iron!
Welcome to Ohio Taryl and Slippers! Glad you guys had a good time!
Back in the early late 70's, early 80's, my brother and I would ride down from Tiffin to check out the old bikes and watch the races. We were just broke kids then but still had a good time! Thanks for sharing guys!
~Honk~
You walk around and no need to say much, the knowledge you have in motors, and machines is incredible, thank you taryal for being so down to earth and enjoying your time at these events, GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL YOUR GREAT FAMILY, WITH FULL RESPECT TO YOU
Early 70's I rode a Suzuki TM 75, my riding buddies had a Harley 90, one had a Yamaha 60, another had a Kawasaki 100 and one more had a Suzuki 125 enduro. Spent non riding time reading various motorcycle mags, and dreaming of most of the bikes in the video. Ahhhh, the good ole days😃
I remember seeing the “Wall of Death” at the State Fair in 1970. They used Harley 45s and go kart with a Mac 90 on it. Used to see the same set up on some of the TV movies in the seventies.
Had to laugh at 2.01 the row of Kawasakis and a Triumph - The Triumph easily recognised as it is stood in a puddle of oil, probably accumulated in the preceding 5 minutes or so. They, like Briggs & Stratton EXi on Taryls page, are also zero oil change required - All the oil in the sump is brand new, always, cos you have to keep filling it up.
My father in law had a 74 dt 360 in his barn for decades. I finally picked it up a few weeks ago. It’s almost complete less the turn signals. Extremely original. It’s a beauty. I love seeing all these old machines.
Great Video. Look like you had a fantastic time. Thank you. Cheers.
oh my... memories of my father. in summer of 1972.. coming home on a sparkling sky blue and chrome 1962 Honda C72 "DREAM"... 250cc and white wall tires... Oh, yes those KAWASAKI 750 tri... were very wiocked when first came out in 1972, are known as "Widow Maker"... my uncle was service tech on those, those bike can run out from under ya, if you don't hang on tightly... produces over 70hp at the wheel....
Thank Taryl, I remeber most of those bikes of the 70's... uncle favorite is Kawasaki KV75, he always hot doggin' om it.. riding wheelies in second gear all day long
That would be crazy to be somewhere and Taryl comes walking up to ya. What a lot of fun!
The place is buzzin' like a busy street in the Philippines you're playin' a live of game of frogger Taryl ! 😅
Love Mid Ohio! glad you got out there, and I liked seeing you highlight the Kawasaki triples especially; for a bit, they made a 400 as well, which is the one I've got :)
thanks for showing some of what you saw! I haven't been in a few years and I love feeling like I'm there with this vid.
That was fun glad y’all had a good time.
Not a RUPP in sight anywhere..... That was my childhood transportation.
And I think it was meant to say on the chair No Taryl......he ran out of room.
I wish I would of known you were coming to Ohio would of stopped by to say hi
I am very sorry me and my kids missed you at Mid Ohio, we live 20 min away from the track. If you guys decide to go next year please post it so we can a
come meet you. We love your channel.
Great vlog of that show in Ohio some really cool stuff…👍👍
Someone needs to invite Ronnie to go along lol!!!
Vintage Days at Barber in Leeds, AL. is the same. 100k people through the gates. Nothing but motorcycles, racing, swap meet and they have two multi-story museums packed with motorcycle. It's worth the trip for the museum alone, but throw in Vintage Days and it's overload. I have (2) SL350s, 1- sl125, 1- cd175, 1970 Z50, 1973 Yam 100, Skat Kitty, 1958 go-kart, etc..
I'm soo damned disappointed that I didn't attend, I'd love to see all those bikes AND meet Taryl in person. Dangit. Much Love to ya Taryl!
2:01 the oil under the Triumph 🤣
Got to love them HODAKA`S. Sure wish I had my old ROAD TOAD or WOMBAT.
loved them old moto meets an swaps , havent seen any around my place in years , fantastic vid , thanks
My neighbor has a matching pair of Honda Monkey's (Red one & Blue one) He rides over all the time on one to make sure I'm out working and not being lazy !! :) lol :)
Yeppers old slippers looks like a WOMBAT kinda guy LOL
Awesome gathering of all the old classics, back in the early 1970's a Yamaha RD 125 was my daily. Thanks for a great video.
Man. How did I miss this.I literally live 20miles away. And grew up 5miles from it
Hey you guys my brother has a collection and a half of Hondas all the way dating from 1974 z50a
all the way up I just love this!
I will make sure my brother gets to see this video...
you guys have fun!
thank you so much
Phantasm... That brings back some creepy memories
I would be like a kid in a candy store, taryl and slippers are really cool would love to meet them someday.
Like to see more of these videos. Thanks again.
Really cool purchases you guys! Look forward to seeing all the finished results!!! :)
Pretty awesome place great bikes
I had a Penton 125 green with the leather strap up over the gas tank with the Sach engine it ran decent back in the early 80s. I had a 1978 Honda CR 250 R with the kick start on the left side man that bike was awesome, bringing back the good old days of my youth.
but did you remember to go back to get your coffee can? Good job getting him down from 20 to 3. LOL
Awesome video Taryl
Mustie was working on one if those Penton dirt bikes a while back.
What a alsome time that was isee you got some new projects looking forward to seeing
Seeing that Husqvarna dirt bike brought back a lot of memories. I bought a new 1971 Husky 400 with the 8 speed transmission. It was an awesome bike, and I regret selling it. It was fun seeing all the bikes from the era when I was riding, it brought back a lot of memories. One of my buddies, had a Honda 175, four stroke dirt bike. It was also a good performer for its size. Did you go back for your coffee can? After all that hard bargaining, I am surprised that you didn't film the acquisition of such a prized heirloom.
I had a Kawi 750 triple when I was a young Air Force sergeant in the 70s. Bought it off a guy who was transferring to England. Being young and dumb, it got me in trouble. Nearly got me killed. Sold it after the last speeding ticket. Trooper said he clocked me at 127 in a 55. He felt sorry for me and wrote the ticket for 90 in a 55. Cost me more than my paycheck would cover.
My older brother, also in the Air Force, used to have a tricked out 500 triple he would ride from Grissom AFB Kokomo, IN to Tiffin and back. Man would that thing scoot...like a scalded dog!
Been there,done that, regretted too...
Yeah that "fun wasn't fun" 🐉
A stroll down memory lane
I wish I could walk with Slippers. He’s adorable.
11:19 spoken like a true backyarder.
I remember riding them road toads when i was a teenager, fun fun
Howdy and good afternoon I hope you are doing well. Have a great weekend you crazy guys.
please try to get the coffee can guy on your show. That guy is hysterical.
Thanks for sharing , Good destination for a Motor Home trip . Had to pause to look up where it was . ( Remind me to bring a Trailer ) .
Who was that NOT ARY guy? He's hilarious.
Ive been there and its awesome !! If it aint there it dont exist !!!!!
Awesome show, thanks for sharing the video!
I live 15 miles SW of there. Back in the 1970s there was a Moto Cross park not to far from there. Rider's from around the world came.
I'm looking for a 1980 HONDA CB750F..............I've already owned two. Love them!
FYI, they also made that Kawasaki two stroke triple in a 400. I owned one, and did it fly! I was disappointed. Not a single CanAm. Bombardier is still in business, but they only make big jets now. Those bikes were tanks. When they raced dirt, there was NEVER a DNF.
Hello there Taryl, wow, lots of old bikes there. I had a buddy, he was older than me a good bit, used to race old bikes, kinda a nostalgic class, certain size and rules, has to use a a roller starter or push start them, never got to see him race but he loved that stuff.
Amazing video as always, I always love going to Mid-Ohio. However I mostly go for the Indy race, I've always wanted to go to the vintage motorcycle event and I almost went this year but we just didn't quite have the time. Hopefully next year I'll be able to go there for that event for sure.
Looks like a awesome place thanks for sharing buddy
Yee-Ha! 'Merica! Great video Taryl. Looks as though a good time was had by all.
Combat Wombat...Road Toad...Dirt Squirt..Oh yeah I memba dem Hodakas. They use to pass me all the time on my Kawasaki KV 75.I used to ride in this huge sandpit, miles long. Its completely gone now all houses and green lawns.
They used to have one of those motorcycle pits at the North Carolina State Fair. We used to give them money just like in this video.
You're not fooling anybody. We all know you're really Blademan. Helping others is what you do. Even when you're not wearing the cape.
Phantasm was one of the scariest movies I saw as a kid
Ah what a weekend - Loved it when Taryl tuned that fans Honda seeing those old bikes - Doesnt matter what country we are in, most of us can recognise something from our youth there as the bikes seem to be more universal than cars. No Left hand/Right hand drive helps I expect... Loved it, you should cover more of these Taryl
Awesome!!!
Winner 🏆 winner chicken 🐔 🍽 dinner...Thanks for the walk around it looks like a great time.
Man I wish we could have something like that around here. It’s just to hot here to do anything. Very cool guys looks like you had fun. That makes it all worthwhile. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
here's the problem - when I take out my vintage bikes to a public area some asshole that knows nothing about those bikes will make some stupid comment about it - it's important that you own it for your and your enjoyment not to impress other people
Hey Taryl, DID YOU EVER GO BACK FOR THAT COFFEE CAN? ....LOL
Good stuff, keep it up!
Cool stuff...good show! 👍
that roundy round guy got me sick all over mah keyboard damnit!
Hey Taryl, 1971 OSSA Stiletto 250, Made in Spain. Great Vidjas Mr. Dactal.
What a neat show!!!
Cheers !
I use to have a Kawasaki 500 triple and i had a Suzuki GT 380. Both were fun bikes.
I would Love to have been at this show.
My dad got me a new 1986 200 SX Honda for my 14th birthday. I still have it. Ain't running though. It's leaking fuel, the inside of tank rusted and has a bent rear axle. Lol.
The eye candy was off the wall. Damn, seen a few bikes I owned too. Thanks, guys!
Old Slippers can’t help himself when it comes to bikes, HEHEHE. And there’s your supper!🫵
The bike i had and miss the most a 1968 Honda 305 combo !!
Way to go Taryl awesome show I had both the RD400 and the DT 250.
Love and JB weld 👍
Have lived in NE Ohio most of my life and still haven't made it there! One day...
Lots of old bikes I remember riding them
you met enough people to add "meet and greet" as well
Lots of memories there taryl. I once had a Kawasaki KE 125 street and trail bike, worked great 👍. Awesome video
Taryl, you missed that Suzuki GT550 3 cylinder 2 stroke sitting beside the KZ900. I had one of those and it was scary! I weighed 250 and had to scoot up on the tank to keep the front wheel on the ground when I got into it. I outrun every 650 and 750 I ever raced with it.
Man, I would love to run across 1981 Maico 250 spider,
Had two Hodaka's. Bad shifting problems. But was fun when it lasted
My face hurts from smiling.
That h2 is fast Known as the Widowmaker
Very Cool!
1960-1980 sweet time when just about anyone could/would start up a cycle company. Not every one was a winner (or reliable) but some were/are still very cool. when i read mid ohio i thought ''nahh wouldn't be the race track''. Nice 2 b wrong. Cool they do this show there. Like the dirt trails and nite ride.
Slip Dawg, on the Hodaka what's the silver cylinder/can behind the seat for?
Need to c Carla again!
Right in the beginning of your video you walked by a Cagiva wmx 500 that was for sale so rare they gav Honda Suzuki and Yamaha a run for their money was going to show this year but just had knee surgery brother keep doing you by far your the best go to for small engine know how once again brother thank you for sharing your knowledge
That's cool
Welcome to Ohio
I had a 1986 Honda atc 250r and a Honda atc 350x. Wish I still had them.
What T likes I was raised on in Manassas VA........Bultaco, Jawa CZ , Penton , Maico....Elsinores.....all the good shit
