That aluminum hemi and the dart right after it would be a perfect match! Stuff like that is why I’m always broke… a buddy had some thornbirds on his truck a long time ago and they looked awesome but wouldn’t clean themselves for nothing! Maybe if you groove them they’d work better but in stock form they were terrible. The super aggressive sidewall worked fine and cleaned itself out, but the rest of the tire just looked like a big chocolate donut. On your ranchero, I think it would look cool if you could find one of those big naval spotlights to mount on the roof instead of the light bar. Like the kind with the shutters they send Morse code with. Where we used to street race here when I was younger, it was the entrance to the uranium enrichment plant. A place we called 3 lanes. About a half mile stretch of three lanes wide with excellent lighting and no traffic at night because it was a plant entrance. After a while of racing though we’d get chased off by plant security in this big ramcharger with a huge spotlight on the roof. That thing looked so wicked and scary at night coming at us! We always referred to it as the cyclops
I own the Ford Flatbed ( no it’s not a rollback or tilt, I wish it was) I’ve put a big block in it with EFI and a 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission since this video. Nobody bought it so I’m building it.
At the 35:40 mark the object you can't identify its a 1934 rare glovebox radio. Hope this answers your question. I only know cause I used to make model a and model t an willi radiators from scratch and exactly built the same way they originally were in the early 1900's an so on to about the 1940's. All my equipment was well over 100 yrs old some original tooling from Henry ford's factory. We just used better quality materials but are 100% the same as one that's 90 years old.
$1,500. For a Sinclair dinosaur is a good price. I've seen 2 for sale in the last 5 yrs. And their prices were $2,000 a grill. $3,200 for a 1936 combination Grill and radiator
What state are you located? Iola generally is better Than Jefferson IMHO... But the best is Pate Texas the same weekend as April Jefferson. Pate has over 9,000 swap spots and about 500-1,000 cars in the corral! I sold My 27 T Roadster with a Flathead and bought a one owner 1931 Model A Roadster in Pate this year and drove up to Wisconsin to buy more stuff at Jefferson on Saturday. Plan on at least two days for Pate and Iola and hire the kids with haul wagons to move heavy stuff!
Kelley is a guy that goes to swap meets with me quite often. He likes wooden steering wheels, so I was just teasing him if he watches. Both Kelley and Aaron bailed like little bitches on going to Jefferson with me.
I only learned this the other day that's why I'm saying something but in the beginning the boat you refer to it as a paddle boat. Technically it's called a pedal boat because you pedal it and it turns the paddles. I just watched a clip of A Wheel of Fortune and the phrase was something something to do with a pedal boat and everybody kept trying to solve the puzzle saying paddle which was funny in that self to see two people say the same thing especially the one because they renew it was wrong. There's my useless bit of information of the day
@@misfittoys8883 Australia mate there’s a couple good ones next month but that’s the only decent ones for the year anyway I’ve been subscribed to your channel for a while now love your videos and I’m a ford man to 🤙

I was thinking Mad Max before you said it. The light bar works for me, looks cool.
I like it, but not nearly as much as I thought I would. Only $25 out even if I dont end up using it
That modified s10 to look like a 60's truck was cool.

That 47 Ford truck would make an awesome rat rod.

Hey, I love the 58 Edsel Grills, fender mirror, and the big Citation tail light lenses, I was there to buy them.😉😁👍
Once I noticed the Edsel parts I started looking for front fenders for my 58 Ranger

Someone must have bought the dino. Saw it strapped to the top of a minivan cruising the swap meet later in the day.

I am in southern Iowa. Just went to Jefferson this past Friday.
I like the cherries. But I think the older ones would be better
Yeah maybe thats the answer. Got plenty of time to find a vintage setup
Yes on the Roncharo she will look nice, thanks for the Wisconsin walk through a lot of "guy eye candy". Keep safe and sane.
Thanks for watching
Kelly your ex? That seemed like a not so happy comment 😂
EDIT: that Mercury truck was cool as hell! I never even knew they existed!

Only ever heard them called paddle boats. Still awful, no matter what what they are called
Swap Meets over here have died in the ass ever since covid hit went from 10 I’d go to each year now to about 3
Where are you at? Covid did not cause much of a stir with gearheads in this area.
