My girl is a big purr box. When my boy does it he sounds like a generator. Combo purr and meow, and how he manages it boggles my mind. When I pet him he gets louder. And both are big kneaders on me.
After over five years... My cat hates brushes. Cats rub on everything. If they aren’t marking territory, they just enjoy the sensation. My cat does not slow blink, nor acknowledge slow blinks. My cat’s preference is for a majority of alone time. I get no cat kisses, with eyes or tongue. I get no nose bumps. My cat shares my sleeping space only to steal my body heat in the winter. I never get butt in my face. My cat doesn’t follow me, but nearly always posts herself up as my “shower guardian,” lying at my bathroom door while I shower.
My two have a wide open box for foil balls, cardboard curls and when they want fetch they go and find what they want, bring it and we play fetch. My boy does it more. My girl prefers to take out a foil ball and play soccer with it.
Apparently sharing it’s litter tray is a big sign of affection. If you can take one or two dumps a week in the litter tray it really helps build a bond. If you take a dump and gently cover it as your cat would, it will see you as a part of it’s family.
It’s annoying when my two run in front of me and trip me. If it’s dark I can’t see them. They do follow me and their tails are always up with a curl on the end.
I would add as sign I cat loves you if they prefer to spend time on places they wear your scent. I've a cat that prefers to sleep on my side of the bed or on clothes that ive worn during the day.
My boy did three eye cat kisses to me this afternoon. Usual he just stared and his sister does the eye cat kisses. And I asked my boy, slap your tail if you’re ready for lunch. And he did and he and his sister got lunch. I’d never asked him before with an actual motion. Just do you want lunch and my two run for the kitchen. First time one of them actually did a request. Slap your tail for.. being in a sitting position my boy slapped his tail then ran into the kitchen for lunch. First time for everything.
My male cat just comes to my bed if he wants something, for example food or going out. Does it man that he doesnt love me? I think it's just too warm for him there. Apart from that he does many things shown in the video.
Not at all! Cats show their affection in so many different ways, and just because your male cat doesn't always choose to sleep on your bed doesn't mean he doesn't love you. It's quite common for cats to seek out cooler spots, especially if they find the bed too warm, or they might simply have their own favorite spots to lounge in. The fact that he comes to you when he wants something like food or to go out actually shows he trusts you and sees you as his provider and caretaker.🐾💕
Your cat licking your hair is actually a really great sign! Cats engage in a behavior known as allogrooming, which is the mutual grooming of fur among those they are close to. By licking your 'fur', your cat is essentially including you in their family. It's a way of showing affection and bonding, marking you as part of their trusted inner circle. So, you can take your cat's hair-licking habit as a compliment - it means they really love and trust you!
Number 10 is so paramount. If you do not work from home or if your house is empty for hours during the day, do not get a cat. They will become aloof and hide and it is so hard to get a cat that is like that and or has been abused by its owner through negligence, and then try and get them out of their shell for their health and happiness. It is a long and difficult issue that few people have the time and ability to deal with. Just don't do it. Get a fish and if that fish is still alive in 2 years, maybe consider a bird.
I leave my cat alone 12 hours while I go to work on weekdays. She is patiently waiting for me to return home each night. She hasn't taken to destroying things, so I guess she's OK with it. But I feel bad about it and give her a cat treat immediately when I get home. I'm thinking of getting a kitten for her to take care of during the day so she won't be lonely. She's a very affectionate cat, does all those things mentioned in the video, and gives my face a cat bath a couple of times a week while we're in bed. My weekends are all hers, and she will sleep on my lap all day and all night.
A loving tone of voice is like a caress, cats love baby talk or warm, loving voice tones. ❤. And kisses. And hugs. And pets.
If I’m on the couch, one or the other will sleep in my lap. My boy snores. If I have a hand out, my boy will rest his head on it and fall asleep.
I just gave one of my bob tailed boys a bath today...at first he was a bit mad ...gave him some loving....hes happy now ....and no more FLEAS!!
All great points. My cat sleeps with me every night.
After staring at my cat and blinking slowly I can confirm my cat thinks I’m a weirdo
I never miss a chance when my cats get close to me to caress them

My two mark me all the time. I love cuddling them.
That's absolutely adorable! 😻 It's so fascinating how our furry friends can learn and respond to our cues. 🐾🥰
@@Feline_Fanatics sure is.
My kitty took my gaming chair as his special place; so I give it to him at bed time and he stays there each night.

I use a toothbrush for grooming. Never met a cat that doesn't like that - even those who dont like the brush.

Cats don’t understand when you say you love them? I say that to mine and they head bunt me for a forehead kiss or mark my face.
And they my cats understand the word kisses as well, if I ask them if they want kisses they will put their head against my lips.

30 minutes a day hairbrushes on her clock Parkinson's disease be damned. Yeah she knows, I like to think of it as her way of a checkup!😅😅

Hey feline I have a question my cat licks my hair a lot when I'm laying down do some cats do that to thier owners if so what does it mean?
