One of my deep, dark fears happened once when I was bringing my cat home from the vet. The assistants had taken apart her carrier during the visit and did not put it back together properly. As I was walking through the parking lot, which was located in front of an extremely busy shopping center, the carrier fell apart and out tumbled my cat. My very first instinct was to drop down and call her name. The minute she hit the ground, she heard me and ran straight into my arms. She was freaked out and could have run anywhere, but her instinct was to immediately come to me. That's when I knew she was 100% bonded to me, and saw me as her person.
@@kt9527 I bet!! May I ask what kind of carrying case it was? I'm only familiar with two: the soft kind and one like a little kennel that they go in through the front. That one's a real sturdy one.
I rescued a 15 yo cat when he was abandoned, and he would sleep on my head every night, with each front paw on the two sides of my face. I was thrilled when he would rub his nose to mine. I wake up with his paws curled around my forearm, like a hug/ cuddle. He is the bestest boy and such a blessing!
My 16 year old Tubbie passed in January and I have been thinking about adopting another senior but I'm just not ready. Tubbie grew up with me from 14 to 30 and she was the bestest girl 🥺 miss her everyday, cherish your time with you kitties
I was 40 years old when I first truly bonded with an animal ( a cat ) and realized that I had the power to give this creature what I never had. A life of love and security. And that's what Kit got until his last day.
Me and my wife are 50, we have always recused small dogs. We currently have two. We had a cat evidently adopt us. He would not leave the deck. We eventually took him to the Vet last week for his first check up before we could bring him inside. He was chipped and spayed as a kitten in 2020. No one has claimed him from the chip company contacts. So now his name is KitKat and is just awesome!
@@SVT40AK47 And that makes me aware of four cats named KitKat. Seemed clever at the time. Mine was a rescue as well. Girlfriend cut through the woods on her walk home and daily saw a mommy cat with kittens. One day they were all gone with one exception ( the runt ). Kit was a good and smart cat. I've never even heard of a cat that seemed to care if the owner was mad or happy with their actions, but Kit did. Still, seemed convinced that if I wasn't watching then I didn't know, like most cats.
I haven’t had a cat in 40 years. A few months ago a kitten showed up at work with a big cut under his eye. I gave him some food and water but I had to work. 8 hours later he was still there. Tried to find his owner with no luck. Now? Bob the cat is the best thing to happen to me. He follows me everywhere. Sleeps on my bed and when I come home, he has to be scratched for at least 5 minutes. He’s the best.
My sister in law got mad because her cat rubbed my legs. Her cat never rubbed her legs. Her cat also would "ask" me to pick him up and hold him. My brother said the cat had never done that before. I already have 4 cats of my own.
Sometimes it's not so sweet when they rub on you as a stranger. It's more of a territorial, 'this is my house, b*tch'. I'm a service electrician, and my favorite part is meeting other people's pets. Usually when a cat does this to me, it's not because they particularly like me, unless it's a kitten. Dogs are way easier to read.
@@ironphill911no. Just….no. If a cat were being territorial you would know it. They wouldn’t be rubbing against your legs. Cats rubbing against your legs is a trust thing, not a territory thing. And dogs are not easier to read: a dog’s wagging tail could be a good thing or a bad thing; not every growl is a threat.
I have a ginger kitty that pets me. It is so sweet he pats my cheek. When I tell him I love him I get an immediate head bump and kitty kisses. I also have a kitten who I found at 5 weeks old, near a dumpster. He is a adventurous teen ager now, but still will suckle on my arm. It is so endearing. 🐈
I had two very loving cats years ago who would twine their tails around my arms, literally holding me, when I petted them. Once when I had to travel on business for several days, with a great cat sitter watching them of course! - I came home to them and woke up the next morning with one of them sleeping in my hair, and the other one wrapped firmly around my forearm with his head in my hand. I was not going anywhere without them knowing about it! A few years later when I needed surgery, they guarded me almost constantly, wherever I went in our home until I was fully recovered. I would wake to them keeping watch over me - literally. They knew I'd been injured, though they didn't know how or why, and they were going to keep me safe for as long as it took. By then, I had these two cats plus two more. And when I rested, on the sofa or in bed, the four of them stationed themselves all around me; one at my head, one at my feet, and one either side of me. Each had their duty station - I knew who would be where; it never varied. I had a furry phalanx surrounding me, a guard purrimeter. I don't think I ever slept more soundly, ever. Gifts from God, assuredly. I was just as imprinted on them, too. On my way home from work each workday, I often skipped a stop at the grocery store just so I could see them first and pet and cuddle each of them a bit, and then I'd run to the store for supper items. Must have that vitamin C(at). Cats are wonderful. I really love looking at the cats with their people, and the people with their cats, in these videos. It's a lovely window on the places where our human and cat worlds come together. Best wishes to the lady in this video who might be getting (or have already completed, God willing) chemotherapy.
I 100% believe that! Our little man chose us a couple of weeks ago, he showed up on our back deck and never left. Last week we did all the necessary vet stuff to make sure he is healthy before bringing him inside.
I love my kitty's trill. And she does her murmur when she is bringing me her favorite toy. We sit on the patio together nearly every day. When the birds come around she does her eck eck and I mimic that. I have known since she showed up on my patio at 10 weeks old that she is my soul cat. The kitten distribution system knew where to send her.
My late 9-year-old shelter calico cat (died unexpectedly a few months after choking on something) used to greet me at the door when I came home from work and would sometimes fall on the floor and roll over with her paws to the sky for a belly rub. She also had the nasty habit of climbing on my bed and laying on my arm as I was trying to relax and read a book - hard to turn pages that way. When I'd go on vacation I'd be trying to pack and up she jumps into the suitcase wanting to come with me! Those are just a few things she did on a regular basis along with most of the other things mentioned. I'm going to eventually get another cat to keep me company. Signed, Childless cat-man. :)
A while ago someone commented that when I go look for a cat, have it "pick me." how do you do that///Put 3 or 4 cats in a room with me and see if one comes up and start purring????
@@Catmom2004 We can't ask for more, you're right! The best advice I ever got about losing a beloved cat came from a book titled _How to Be Your Cat's Best Friend._ It said that when your cat passes on, after you have mourned her, you should find another cat to adopt, because there are always kitties who need a loving home. I now have two - one I adopted after my shoulder cat was gone, and a more recent one I inherited from a friend who passed away. (Still trying to get them to like each other... 😁)
@@briannab5296 I need the luck...right now they're all hissy-growly with each other! It's only been a month or so, though...hopefully, they'll figure out that there are enough soft beds and windows for everyone!
@@MrRofl131 I do the same, both outside and inside my apartment, but my Hector is not a vocal cat. So my neighbors must think I talk to myself a lot or live with a man named Hector. No, I don't care. 😊
I do the same. Many people think I spend to much time with my cat. My cat us very soothing to me. She doesn't sleep with me because when I got her from the pound, she had ring worm so I had to keep her in a confined area so she never felt she can sleep with me. But when I have to be gone for a longer time than normal I sleep in the living room with her and she is extra happy about that as she hangs closer to me than where she normally sleeps.
@@MrRofl131 i just watched a video on Jackson Galaxys channel and that was one of the things that he said bonds the cat with its human. He said that kittys love that. I do it with my kitty too❤️
I had a stray mama cat bring her babies to my backyard in Sept 2023, I found homes for mama and her 3 ginger boys, and kept the Tortie female, only to have the 4m old imprint on me. I've had cats my whole life but having a velcro cat is pretty darn special. Pearl is 16 months now and is never far from me.
We’ve had so many rescues and most of them display these behaviours ❤ I’m bonded with one in particular, I helped care for her when she had a brain infection; even though she lives with my parents, every time I go over (which is almost every day) she just seems to know the sound of my car and waits for me; if she’s sleeping it’s in my old bedroom and she comes running when she hears my voice 🥰 she follows me EVERYWHERE and I just adore her! I so badly want to bring her home but I know my kitties at home would not be happy and she would miss her siblings at my parents and the yard where they like to roam around; my mum just says it’s more incentive to come over 😅
The very first thing my boy did when I walked into that kitten room at the rescue, was climb my leg. I knew he was coming home with me and eight years later he's still the best thing to ever happen to me. I tell him so every day.
The narration is EXCELLENT! I LOVE the accent and find it refreshing to watch a video that does NOT have the obnoxious and seemingly ubiquitous AI generated voice. Well done! 👍👍👍
One of my cats, the first that was recognized as "mine" spend 22 hours of every day in the same room as I as I worked; the other 2? I had to be out of the house. He slept in the office chair (all night) that I sat in to work at my desk during the day. The best, he was
My cat is very much bonded to me like this. I remember the only time she has ever gotten sick in her 10 year life I had to leave her at the vet overnight. They told me she completely shut down, refused to eat, drink, or use the bathroom at all. But the moment I walked in and called her name she was suddenly screaming and crying and I took her out of the kennel and held her close to my chest and that was that. Also when she was spayed not that long after her first heat, she accidentally ripped a stitch out and she would not let the vet wipe the blood off, so they sent her home with me. She stretched out on the couch and I approached her with a damp washcloth. She sniffed it and then immediately stretched out and let me wipe the blood off without a bit of fuss.
My first cat my dad helped me adopt at 17, my tuxedo boy Renton. We bonded pretty quick. He escaped one afternoon and ran off and I was just devastated, I ran out bawling and crying out down the middle of my street like a looney toon.. I then saw him running fast right towards me from the canal … w a barrage of seagulls dive-bombing him! He literally leaped right into my arms 😂 I ran into the house while he clung for life… we were best friends for 16 years 💔 My pudgy Francis these days will rub his face directly into any pair of shoes I take off when I get home from work and roll around with them 😂 sometimes I bring a pair of second hand shoes home and he’ll start rubbing up on them and I have to say jealously “hey I haven’t worn those yet !”
One of my cats wraps her tail round my wrist when I pet her. A couple follow me round. Another always grooms me, and nips (but not hard) I love them all, and they all show their love in their unique ways.
My Squall kitty did all eight of these and I lost her in August. I held her constantly through her last day and her purring only stopped when she released her last breath. I miss her so much. I figured that I owed her the comfort of being in my arms. I was present at her birth, mine was the first voice and touch she knew, and it was also the last.
I am so sorry for your loss. It’s heartbreaking to say goodbye to these wonderful pets. I had a dream where my deceased dog came to me and told me she was happy and felt so much better! She also told me (not verbally of course) that she was waiting for me and would see me again. I never believed in “after” but I do now. We will see them again.
Squall passed away on August 25th at the age of eleven, a grand and dainty little lady who ruled the house with a velvet paw. One look of disappointment from those blue eyes of hers would stop my son from misbehaving. She never once bared a fang or claw to him, but he respected her from her first breath because he watched her come into the world.
My Kootie. His mom was a feral cat. All his sibs were healthy, but he looked about 8 weeks old, 1/2 their size. I was feeding the family while deciding what to do with them. She quietly collected the other kitens and left while he was eating. She gave him to me😢😢. He lived almost 20 yrs. It's been several years but I still miss him
Koda, my micro-panther familiar, had a habit of doing that... until I stopped holding back and yelped "Ouch!" each time it happened. It took a while, but the over-hard biting slowed to the point of only when she was too wound up. Then she'd stop immediately, and often would lick where she had bitten (usually my hand) as an apology.
Years ago, a former neighbor had a kitty that just took to me. If I picked her up, she’d jumped right out of my arms. But then stand next to me. She was testing me. I’d pick her again and just let her it in my lap. She taught me, to pet her slowly and gently. Fingernails were NOT allowed! And key above everything else….just whisper! I could spend 30 minutes just loving on her! She’d purred so loud! Even people that she lived with weren’t allowed to pick her up!
One of my (61M) Torties has jumped on my back on the few occasions when I was bent over and she was there. She will also sometimes give a little squeak if she feels creamy enough while you pet her. The other is not as bold but still very affectionate once she gets to know you. Both girls rub my legs a lot when they want my attention for something or another and both have wrapped their tail around my arm to hold me there when I skritched by their tail in just the right spot. They love to be a part of whatever I do (mirroring) and I have also sat at a window several times watching out with them and talking to them. Both have also exposed their tummys to me but only one likes to be stroked there.
I believe that cats can "reprint" or "rebond". I rescue cats that fail adoption and are kept "in the back room" at the shelter. Sometimes it takes awhile, but eventually they will nibble my nose, reach up with paws and claws on my leg for a pet, jump up and ride my shoulder, or jump on my chest at night when in bed. However, I seem to always have had some connection with animals.
All of my cats do this. I love❤ them so. They keep my anxiety calm and my depression in check. I love ❤️ them and the love me too. Cheaper than therapy. ❤
My cat goes outside after breakfast. She was a stray so she would rather go out and do her business. She only uses the litter box as a last resort. She comes in after a little while and then goes back to bed for a nap. When she comes in I jokingly ask her if she has done her patrol, and is everything in order. She looks up at me and says ‘meow’. I’m sure she’s answering me ‘yep mum. It’s all okay’… 😂
I love outnin the country and my cats go in and out. They love it and I watch them from the window often. When I moved in with my husband he had a mouse problem we can say it's no longer a problem now that I'm a cat lover. He is now too ❤
At 65 years old I have a cat. I didn't want a cat but the kitty distribution center chose me for this little kitten that was so terrified of everything. She is still scared of everyone that is not me. She loves me so much that l have to love her back. She does all these things 😅 she's laying on my bed sleeping. When I leave and come back she will be in my spot waiting for my return 😅
I was at a house I had made an offer on, making notes during the home inspection, they had a number of rescue cats, about 5 or 6. I was standing at a counter and one cat, a small gray, made a 3 point bound up on the counter, and pushed his/her head underneath my free hand like "This hand has a job to do, pet me!" I was tempted to ask the cat be thrown in with the house, but he/she would have missed the others. And, truth be told, I don't feel responsible enough to have another living being depend on me.
My cat, Boomer, learned quickly how sensitive my skin is and never bites too hard-except during playtime when he gets a little too into it. But petting sessions that turn into the bite from him is never painful. He's a sweet boy
My 2 cats came to me as strays. Binkey showed up on my doorstep 3 and a half yrs ago, as I was sitting on the front porch enjoying the weather with my daughter and grandson . I posted ads looking for an owner and took him to be checked for a chip by a veterinarian. No owner was found and what I thought was a girl cat, my veterinarian informed me, was a boy that had been neutered. What a blessing. My grandson named him Mr Binx from the movie Hocus Pocus. Zachary (also named after the same cat in the movie Hocus Pocus) showed up on my back patio one day, starving for attention more than food. We've been feeding him, doctoring his wounds from where he's probably been fighting, his eyes tear up because of allergies. He's been in our care for a month now and im seeing great results. His fur is sofening, his scars are gone away, his eyes are better since I bought a bottle of eye rinse for him. Unfortunately, he wasn't neutered before coming to me. Next on my agenda. My 2 boys get along great. Binkey actually takes care of Zachary just like a little brother.
5. This is why I put something I have worn in her cat carrier. Like a soft flannel. She usually get anxiety when going in the carrier. It usually means the car or the vet (both of which she hates). By putting the flannel in with her it tends to calm her, at least some.
I had the same towel in a cat carrier when I adopted Chubbs and sadly, when I took him to the vet on what turned out to be his last day. He was legitimately purring minutes before he passed her at home in my arms. I miss him so much, how do people get through the pain? It was October 10th and people at work say, "it's just a cat", that was my best friend!
My Salem🐈⬛ bakes Bisquit’s on my arm everyday using his little hypodermic needles and sits guard while I’m my most vulnerable. Waiting by the door when I get home routinely I’m considering getting himm a companion who can keep him company when no one is home.
I had Birdie for 16 years and she hated being held, but loved to lap sit and cuddle in bed. They like what they like. I have two siblings now and they both love being held, they like shoulder riding and siting, but neither likes lap sitting. But they’re a year old so that can/will all change.
I had a cat that would follow me down the street like a dog. He would ride with me on the car. He was just the best cat. Although Petunia is certainly a sweet kitten. She is sleeping on top of me right now
My cat Rocky sleeps with me at night, climbs on my chest while watching TV, taps me shoulders and arms, head bumps me constantly, follows me around, sticks his bump in my face, checks me as soon as I get home even thought I only go out 1 to 3 times a month, talks to me, calls for me and plays with me. He loves cuddling with me ❤ ❤ ❤.
My little buddy pats me on the cheek, and at night he'll lay out on my chest and make biscuits- on my chin. It very sweet but a very weird feeling, like a tiny pair of hands pushing on my chin, and i never feel his claws
When I eat food with my fingers (chips etc) so will my gorgeous boy. He uses his paws and scoops his food to eat, it's so cute. He watches my old phone when I'm I'm on mine. Copies me in so many ways, he's my best friend
i have one of my kittens that is really my baby! he was the last of the litter & his momma had a really long labor so she was judt worn out!! she was unable to clean him & get him breathing...i cleaned him off & got him breathing . so as he grew i have fed him, cuddle him & he sleeps with me wrapped across my neck or on my head. he still likes to make bread on my collarbone or elbow. hes now 7 months old & he is getting too big to baby but i still do!!
This is my dream .. to be there at birth and cuddle her daily, bonding with her from the first moment. i really want a Munchkin or two, but they are so costly.
I used to have a kitty who used to wake me up in the middle of the night by dropping a ball on my chest. I'd sit up for an hour or so and toss the ball and he'd fetch it and drop it on the bed. He was so cool. I miss him so much.
My cat Tui( black with a white spot on his chest like a native bird here in NZ) had a favorite place on my lap first thing in the morning. He would tuck his head under my arm to stop me from putting him on the floor. He was there every morning when I woke up and every afternoon when I got home from work. One morning a couple of weeks ago he wasn't there to greet me first thing and I knew something was wrong. He got hit by a car coming home to me. I was devastated and had to bury him. I am not sure I can take that again, losing him was awful
When I was about 10 I got a cat I named him Desi and we were very close when I was about 14 I got sick and he had to stay at my grandma's house I had to go to my mom's house and then stay at the hospital for a long time after I'd been gone for about 3 months my cat broke out of the house when my grandma opened the door never to be seen or so it would seem but then when I was about 18 I was walking to go meet my friend it totally different part of town and when we finally reunited it was amazing then we went back to my grandma's house on foot since I couldn't take him on the bus and he just followed along but from that point on he kept a much closer table on me probably worried I would go away again but I only had him for 5 more years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge I'm just glad he got to find me before he died so he doesn't have unfinished business and I got a chance to say goodbye
I would love to know why my cat wants to smell my mouth making a huffing noise...then head butts me whenever we greet each other. ABSOLUTELY Loves it when I pet her when she eats...she will meow to get my attention, run to her bowl and wait for me to pet her and give head butts and purrs the whole time...I have to be careful though, because she sometimes overeats and throw up her food.
My oldest boy imprinted on me at the shelter. I was there looking for a third cat and he made it known he wanted out of his cage. Once free he was climbing all over me. He is definitely my shadow which is convenient since he is all black
If I have a job within 5 or 6 blocks,my cat is there. One guy said cats don't come when you call them,I whistled, opened the truck door and Chico came running and jumped in...head out the window on the ride home.I love dogs as well BUT,who needs a dog when you have a cat !
I had a lovely grey and white tuxedo , a rehome rather than rescue as owner could no longer keep her. She immediately leapt into my arms a I sat waiting to be introduced to her. At home, I could never go to the bathroom by myself. Ever. If i shut te door she just yowled till i let her in. Does anyone know the feline world record for yowling?
I’ve got three babies. One is about two years old. Whereas the other two are about 3 months old. I bottlefed the younger two, and they will now throw a fit as soon as I leave the room and scurry to follow. My older girlie only gets really snuggly if I’m sitting down on my couch, but otherwise walks around like she owns the house.
I am actually curious about another detail when it comes to the cat loving you and Grooming. If a cat licks your hair while on your neck and literally ends up chewing on your hair kind of does that mean that they love you as well and is it common for a cat when using you as a free ride to jump onto your back when you're bent over when they love you? My friend had a cat they adopted as a kitten named Sega and this cat would always love to get on our back and literally right around like that but here's another thing that I noticed when it came to me visiting and her coming over to me, she would always lick my hair sometimes and sometimes even chew on it. Whenever my friend ended up mentioning that I was going to come and visit, she would always go wait at the door for me and look at my friend all sad and disappointed because I wasn't there yet. It was actually kind of cute and funny I'm not going to lie. I was just curious because while she didn't do all of those things she did lay on my clothing and like to climb onto my back and even would follow me sometimes and lick my hair. I know she loved me a lot too! My friend ended up getting her from an animal shelter and when they came to visit me one time and I got into the car with her and her boyfriend they actually had Sega in the car with them and when introducing me my friend called me her aunt. I was just curious because you didn't mention grooming the owner's hair and or climbing on the owner's back so I was just curious if those qualified as love as well and imprinting.
Yes my cat loves me to rub his low back - he puts his butt up in the air , a lot ! I see what that means . I also wipe his butt after he does his business some times
This one kitten we took care of imprinted on me. It had an odd fixation on sleeping in its litter box not a used one, once it used it it slept next to me
I bottle fed all 3 of my cats from a week old, they literally do all these things but i already knew i was their human, I feel the love they share, don't even consider them my pets, i call them my boys and my best friends.
shows how much you know about cats mine would take food out of the bowl one piece at a time with her paws because she didn't like her whiskers touching the bowl
What does it mean if you bend over and the cat jumps on your back?! I had only lived with the cats owner for about 5 months and as far as I know the only other person this tonkinese ever did it to was her original owner who had passed away. This had being my flatmates husband.
My Sebastian would get into my lap and turn his butt toward me on a regular basis, Seems weird, but his butt smelled similar to chocolate! Trixie would stand at the top of the stairs yelling for me to come to bed. Betty Boop would roll around and do back flips when I entered the bedroom. They were all related and they were the most outwardly loving cats I've ever had.
My cat follows me around everywhere, I call him my Supervisor, I can’t go anywhere without him. He climbs my right leg so I am forced to pick him up and hold him like a baby. About 50 times a day I have to hold him. I have almost permanent scabs on my leg from his nails. He makes fish biscuits on me and sucks on my shirt, while he’s drooling on me. He rubs all over me, sits in my chair when I’m not home, he will kill wild buds and rats, then bring them to me to share his food. He won’t let my other cat sit with me, he attacks the dog if I give him any attention. All the love and attention must belong to him only. He gets upset if I hug my husband, he claws up my leg to get my attention away from the human man and back to him. He is the most important after-all! My kids call him my favorite son.
So, when my Savannah Juni climbs up on the back of my driver's seat at 70 mph, starts messing my hair up like the wild cat of her ancestors and the bites the back of my head, that means she's imprinted on me? Then there's the days long trips to the hospital in which a normally confident cat hides for the entire time until I get home. Much of our "together time' is spent in the car going places. She's my little sweetheart...
They are the eyes that look behind us and make sure its human is safe.. A bigger cat would not need it and would still see you as family… fun fact no dog besides a mastiff outclass a lion..
The cat distribution system is still in tact!
❤ its amazing what we can do for each other. I'm glad you found one another
My sister in law got mad because her cat rubbed my legs. Her cat never rubbed her legs. Her cat also would "ask" me to pick him up and hold him. My brother said the cat had never done that before. I already have 4 cats of my own.
I have 4 cats too their such cuties 😊😅
I feel sorry for sister in laws cat.She doesn't get her cat.😮
Sometimes it's not so sweet when they rub on you as a stranger. It's more of a territorial, 'this is my house, b*tch'. I'm a service electrician, and my favorite part is meeting other people's pets. Usually when a cat does this to me, it's not because they particularly like me, unless it's a kitten. Dogs are way easier to read.
You are a cat whisperer ! 🐈
Same
I had two very loving cats years ago who would twine their tails around my arms, literally holding me, when I petted them.
This is such a sweet post! The video was cute, but your post had me hold back a tear or two.
My pet groomer volunteers at an animal shelter. She said you don’t pick a cat..a cat picks you and from reading the comments I believe it.
I used to work in the cat room at a shelter. I can totally vouch for that fact. Saw the cats pick the humans a zillion times. Just heartwarming! 😻
I 100% believe that! Our little man chose us a couple of weeks ago, he showed up on our back deck and never left. Last week we did all the necessary vet stuff to make sure he is healthy before bringing him inside.
Agree ❤
I love my cat more than anything in this world.
I’m so sorry for your loss!😢
@garyausten5939, I'm so sorry for your loss of your cat. Remember that when you're ready to bring another cat home, you let the cat pick you.
Heh, my last cat when I came rubbed against my legs when I got home
@ I’m so sorry for your loss 😢
A while ago someone commented that when I go look for a cat, have it "pick me." how do you do that///Put 3 or 4 cats in a room with me and see if one comes up and start purring????
Yes! I had a shoulder cat! He was amazing, and he really was like a living fur stole. My shoulders were his favorite perch. I lost him to cancer.
I am SO sorry for your loss. I am certain your boy KNEW he was loved to the end and what more can any of us ask for, really?
@@Catmom2004 We can't ask for more, you're right! The best advice I ever got about losing a beloved cat came from a book titled _How to Be Your Cat's Best Friend._ It said that when your cat passes on, after you have mourned her, you should find another cat to adopt, because there are always kitties who need a loving home. I now have two - one I adopted after my shoulder cat was gone, and a more recent one I inherited from a friend who passed away. (Still trying to get them to like each other... 😁)
Sweet story .. Love your very last sentence! Good luck with that! 😄
@@briannab5296 I need the luck...right now they're all hissy-growly with each other! It's only been a month or so, though...hopefully, they'll figure out that there are enough soft beds and windows for everyone!
@@lisagulick4144 Thanks for replying. Good luck with the peace negotiations between your cats, haha.
I rescued my cat last year she’s 10 now and she follows me everywhere and cuddles me at night 🐈⬛
My wife thinks I'm crazy sitting next to our cat watching outside together and talking with each other. She always meeuws back.
I so badly want to bring her home but I know my kitties at home would not be happy and she would miss her siblings at my parents and the yard where they like to roam around; my mum just says it’s more incentive to come over 😅
Got them all from my Jen. She's been doing them since she was 6 months old 😊. Her long trill's just make me burst out 😭. They are so beautiful 😍.
The best, he was
Reading these comments convinces me that all animals, domestic and wild bring out love and compassion and vanquish negativity in most of us.
Another always grooms me, and nips (but not hard)
I love them all, and they all show their love in their unique ways.
So sweet ❤
Mine wraps his tail around my arm when I pat his tummy. I call it the tail hug.
My cat does all 8. What an honor.
My last cat had all but the 1st.
Me too.Lil Pooh 20 years old, my soul mate passed in my embrace Aug 26. Hurts and I hate being without a floofer.😢😊 I feel your pain.
This made me cry. Purring until her last breath.
It's been several years but I still miss him
She had no idea that by dumping the black sheep, she was giving that kitten a better life than any of her others could have had.
@minetruly it was funny, until i found her home, she came and checked on him daily.
😂 My "Tuxie" cat has that unnerving habit of "Love Biting". Not always a pleasure. 😼
This must be a Tuxey thing, mine too 😂
Koda, my micro-panther familiar, had a habit of doing that... until I stopped holding back and yelped "Ouch!" each time it happened.
This made my day. My 4 month old kitten does all of these and I’ve only had him for a couple weeks 🥰
My favorite cat Puffin would always tap his nose to my nose every day.....his cat kiss to me.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
All of my cats do this. I love❤ them so. They keep my anxiety calm and my depression in check. I love ❤️ them and the love me too. Cheaper than therapy. ❤
What kind of cat do you have?
My sister has an indoor cat. So the presents he brings to her is dirty laundry from the basement 😂
I had a cat named Mary who would empty the sock drawer if I left it open.
I find my kitty Oreo 😺 getting into my socks bucket.
My cat, Boomer, learned quickly how sensitive my skin is and never bites too hard-except during playtime when he gets a little too into it. But petting sessions that turn into the bite from him is never painful. He's a sweet boy
My kitty bites and scratches me hard. She only 5 months old. Idk what to do
My 2 cats came to me as strays.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww soooooooooooooo very cute
My Calico hates being picked up but loves being petted.
@@ilovecatvideos1851 I don't try. She does some other things that are aggravating .
I had Birdie for 16 years and she hated being held, but loved to lap sit and cuddle in bed.
They like what they like.
I have two siblings now and they both love being held, they like shoulder riding and siting, but neither likes lap sitting. But they’re a year old so that can/will all change.
My kitten does all of these.
I had a cat that would follow me down the street like a dog. He would ride with me on the car. He was just the best cat. Although Petunia is certainly a sweet kitten. She is sleeping on top of me right now
Awwww Petunia is my kitty's name too! ❤️
Thank you I have a much better needed understanding of…. Appreciate the video

Cats are people they have feelings to
Thank you for those information

I don't know but that's a cute story ❤️
Samantha, my cat, got on my lap within 30 seconds of me lying down!
Yes my cat loves me to rub his low back - he puts his butt up in the air , a lot ! I see what that means . I also wipe his butt after he does his business some times
This one kitten we took care of imprinted on me. It had an odd fixation on sleeping in its litter box not a used one, once it used it it slept next to me
My 8 year old red haired girl hasnt stopped trying to "nurse" on .y neck or arms since i brought her home.
She was between 4 and 6 weeks old.
Your kitty loves you. When your back is level she sees an opportunity for being close. 😊
My cat Loki does this to my husband never me, only him.
@@charlottesmom isn't it weird! You can't say it's because they are male, because I am female.

I want a kitty now. We had 3 and 2 got outside and hit by cars. I’m still mad at my sister and cousin for opening up the door and leaving it open
Get a screen door with a hook latch first. It'll allow fresh air, keep kitty inside, and, keep sister and cousin outside.
My cat follows me around the house all day
Our cat has the goal of successfully petting the dog. The dog is suspicious.
I keep getting told I spoil them...😂
My cat follows me around everywhere, I call him my Supervisor, I can’t go anywhere without him.
MY Murphy does all these things, except the tail wrap. Maybe it's because she is a Manx...🤔
My cat considers me a not very efficient food dispenser. My main failing is that I give treats to my 3 dogs, before her.
My sweet boy who I had to say goodbye to Tuesday night did all of these things
They are the eyes that look behind us and make sure its human is safe..
A bigger cat would not need it and would still see you as family… fun fact no dog besides a mastiff outclass a lion..
