All correct. According to research, the younger you are, the less likely your relationship is to work, but there are few exceptions to it. The most important thing is for the man to lead well and for the woman to submit well.

@mklovlif no, It is not denial. Sometimes I literally forget my age when asked and have to calculate in my head because I feel way younger than my actual age by God's grace.

My 40 year marriage ended in 2018 when I lost my husband age is just a number I was 15 and knew what I wanted and he was 35 it took me a lot to convince him that he would not regret marrying me and we did our thing for 40 years and we had a good life

Age really matters in a relationship but the gap shouldn't be so large. I totally agree about flexibility..

American Men think old starts at 30 and have been dragging negatively 30 and 40 year old women who want relationships really bad for the last few years which is disgusting and insane to me because those ages aren't old. There is nothing wrong with anyone having preferences but the superficiality of humans have really reached it's peak which is affecting the marriage rate significantly. Men act like they don't want women and women the same yet they need each other! Relationships have never been this divisive.

I wish you specified age ranges for the statistics when you said “the younger you are, the less likely the marriage will work, and older you are the more likely the marriage will work”. Are there no limits to these statistics? If someone marries at age 21 or at age 55 for the first time do these stats still apply?

Statistics are based on the general experience of people. It doesn't mean you cannot be an exception if you have the features he mentioned like maturity, flexibility, willingness to respect your husband regardless of age, patience, etc.
My husband is 12 years than me, i’m happy and good with it, but my parents only know he is 9 or 10 years older. I really don’t know how they will take it if they know the truth since my parents are only 3 years gap. I’m 24 he is 36 ❤

😊 pastor you are on point with that the man has to be flexible but at 15 my maturity was in tact and I knew where we were headed and that’s right there were still times I wanted to go and did the club and partying but when I did, it was with his children, or our parent, you know we would go… the oldest daughter was two years younger than me and as I told her and her sister that I am not here to be their mother, I will be their friend because they have mothers. I’m here to love my husband and that’s what I’m gonna do. It worked out well there’s always bumps though.
I found this quite interesting. In my church they generally are not really in favour of marriages where the man is more than 10years older than the woman. They believe the couple cannot "flow" well enough.
I am 17years old and i have listen to many of daddy kingsley and mummy and i belive that if I keep myself with right information and i do something with what i know by the time I'm around 25 i should be a relationship coach i suddenly start having burdens for teenager around me with relationship.

Hello good day I've listened to what you said and you said the man should lead and have a woman should have a patient and respect if she's older and hes younger but what happens to the respect and loyalty honesty trust commitment when the woman is older and the guy is young I understand the role of playing a position as a woman no matter what age you R but where's the respect for the woman of an older age where's the understanding of a woman when she's older that a man is supposed to give her I only heard you talk about how a woman is supposed to respond to her mate versus hermit responding to her
Thanks for this message Pst K. This is honestly the issue I'm facing right now, my parents are refusing to accept my man because he's 20yrs older than I am. I honestly don't know what to do, he's intentional about everything he does and a very disciplined person which is something I find rare in young men. I honestly don't see myself being with someone who doesn't know his left and right or still trying to know his purpose, I'll rather be with someone who I can learn from everyday. I need advice 😟

With a generational difference especially if the woman is older, it needs a different kind of grace. And I mean a man at 21 or 22 years and a woman at 38years and above. I have seen the challenges in this type from a close friend and I don't know if such can work. Is there anyone in this kind of set up?
I was in one recently w/ a guy 15 yrs younger...i gotta tell you..i was very self conscious as well as flatterd that he was attracted to me.. i enjoyed the attention,his company and the intimacy was fiery🔥...but yes i felt a lil insecure abt meetn his friends or family as well as bringn him around mines...we felt comfortable in each others presence but thats far as it got.......im older and i had to admit to my self that we really didnt complete each other in a way i could live with & be comfortable with....we werent on the same wavelengths in my opinion as a couple with a big age gap.

Well from my point of view as a man the generational gap doesn’t really exist because I’m quite in tune with the times. Consequently we tend to be on the same wavelength when discussing different subjects be it fashion, music, politics, etc. I do not belong to the category of older people that are completely oblivious to the mindset of a younger person. Understanding and appreciating the mindset of your partner and making the necessary adjustments while also carefully introducing your wealth of wisdom is key. I’m 47 she’s 30.

I’ve got 16yrs on my girl (46/30) and we’re getting married soon. She’s more excited of the prospect than myself. But I must say genetics favours me because I literally look early 30’s and I’m also a health and fitness enthusiast. Bottom line is depending on the couple involved, age is literally just a number.

I have seen this video long before now but I have refused to watch it. I have a brother whom am sensing that he is God's will for me,but my biggest challenge is he is between 12-14 years older than I am. And that's very scary for me. Seeing the comments here is quite encouraging yet I don't know. I feel ashamed of what my friends will say. I hope God deals with my mindset to accept his will.
