Another fun hunt, and I had a good laugh at your bobbypin remark. Loved the shadow puppets, too! Lol. My wife just got the xterra Pro. She loves it.

I don’t know what it is about this detector but it goes deeper than any machine I’ve owned. Which is good and bad because I’m going pretty deep for junk 😂
All the detectors I have ever owned will hit a soda can down a couple feet or more depending on the soil conditions. Man I hear ya a lot of work for trash.. Forget it I will go down a foot and give up if it is deeper..lol 😂😂

Right about having fun. The Adventures with the Xterra Pro has been fun from start to now. The more you use a detector You learn more about it. I just went from out of the box charged it up and hit the grounds. But I know it struggling on Stabling Target Id.. when the target is in the ground.. Thanks for your comment Talisha laughed when I read it to her. She throw in the Shadow Puppet and I never knew until I put the video together... Stay Awesome.. Peace

I know Bill. But the struggles we have as a Newbies either getting into the hobby and or getting a new detector. The start of my first hunt until now I hope I showed the real life of a detectorist just getting started in the Hobby There is that hiccup on target id's that threw me through the ringer though.. Hey Dan - just got the x terra pro and i am sharing your struggles - hope it gets better for me - used to the very stable vdi numbers and tones with my at pro
I was not fond of the jumpy vdi and digging bottle caps from various ranges. It is not like I am a Beginner Detectorist and this Xterra Pro just gave me one big headache.. Hope your struggles gets better as time goes by. I have seen many videos and have heard that people seem to really like it. So maybe I had a bad coil or it is just the whole detector. Love the video, I just got my XTerra about 4 days ago. I am going to try and lower my sensitivity also. I am still trying to learn it. I'm new to detecting so this should be fun.

Been out with mine a few times, don’t be worried about turning down the sensitivity, it still finds things deep down

That is what it's all about the having Fun and getting into the Detector's Knowledge of what's it's seeing and for you to get what it's telling you that it found something and the next time you go out to detect, Just Do Like you have before and I think you had the sensitivity At 22 but it was 20 something but it's all about learning experience with the X-Terra Pro and Any Detector Made is too learn it and enjoy it and you will ❤...... and your still a youngster and Happy Birthday whenever your day is... I still do not think the sensitivity has anything to do with the Target Id. More so ground conditions and other factors plays into it. But thank you for the info on lowering the sensitivity. I will run it around 15 for a few more hunts or so and if I feel I can run it higher I will. But most clad anyhow is only surface down to 6 inches.. Thank You for being a positive commenter.. @@ohdannyboyjustadiggin But sensitivity is the ground conditions as you say and not just target depths and not doing anything for ground balance and I have read the instructions on the X-Terra Pro and it's said that you can take it out of the box and Hunt but it also says that the More experienced can change the settings and get the best out of the Detectors and you having so many different Detector's you should know more about it but it's going good for the X-Terra Pro and you.Andyou will know more about it than me, cause I don't have a X-Terra Pro Yet but I know enough to get into trouble but I always Ground Balance and the few times that I forget to do it the Simplex will start acting funny and I have to ground balance and it's back to normal but it's going well for you and the X-Terra Pro and If you decide to get rid of it and just send it my way but until then I'm left using the Simplex + and Teknetics Detectors but the Teknetics Detectors found enough money to get the Simplex ..... Enjoy the Summer, go out Detecting ....
@@carolrice2063 I had great finds with the Simplex+ turn on and go and never missed a silver ring and other things . The Simplex is and has been a turn on and go detector. I just selected the mode I wanted and went with it. I also know when you hit silver with the Simplex Plus it tells ya in its own way You got Silver Buddy. Dig it . I just kept getting a head ache from the tones it gives. and It never worked for me on the beach even when I ground balanced it and messed with the Sensitivity. So I put it in a box and that is where it lies waiting to be used again or sold.. Keep me thinking Buddy. You seem to have a great out look in life.. Peace and Happy Hunting .
@@ohdannyboyjustadiggin And yes on the Tone Headache's from the Simplex +and I Will Be Going Back to the Teknetics Detectors but the only thing that the Simplex has over the X-Terra Pro is that it comes with Headphones 🎧 and the X-Terra Pro doesn't and it should, but the equinox 900 has almost everything that I'm looking for but that's ALOT of coins and Holes to fill in but doable..... and again good luck 🤞 In the Hunt.....

The Sensitivity has to do with ground noise and if you can run any detector at max or just below you are getting the most from it. Meaning if you swing and your getting interference from the ground You lower the Sensitivity. Noise cancel is used when Emi is admitting problems with erratic spasms with effecting the detectors Functioning right. Food For thought.. Peace

What are your thoughts on xterra pro vs vanquish 540
My thoughts on the 540 is That it feels like a toy but hits on targets pretty good and the Xterra Pro feels like a toy version of the Equinox. The Scale range is so different I did not enjoy the Xterra Pro as the vdi is so jumpy. Hands down I would use the 540 over the Xterra Pro.I been swinging the 700 for awhile and I still use the 540. Some people really like the Xterra Pro and they find good things with it too. I feel there is a strong learning curve for that detector as it states it is a turn on and go unit. I felt it was not that friendly. Thanks for watching.

I look older then I am But yes 50 in a few more months. And I love to just have fun. I joke about my age a lot. Because I am never going to grow up. This hunt was coin after coin and gave me more insight on the Detector. Can not wait to get back to digging in the grass again. As Playgrounds are so dry from coins We were lucky to find this one..
