Arcana is op. Part of the reason is that it deals true damage when you combine e1 S1 Black Swan and e1 Ruan Mei. There are some great videos on the math to prove it. For reference, true damage ignores defence/resistance.

yeah ngl, i have friends with supports for most damage dealers at e6 and ive tried all of them. this is my favorite e6, its insanely good and is one of the fastest for clearing.
I only found jingliu, kafka, acheron and blade e6 in friends list yet. I have yet to find black Swan and other e6..... It's so hard to find them almost impossible

I'm saving for Archeon - I chant to myself quietly resisting E1 black swan to go with my e1 Kafka. She will get reruns - I chant while staring at the beauty of her light cone. She is already home- I chant as I ignore the fact that I'm no longer interested in pulling sparkle after finishing the trailblazer quest update.
Imagine a team with acheron, Black swan, ruan mei and Kafka. I don't care if it's viable or not this is what I must do
@@A-Minorrrrrrrblack Swan with acheron might work actually. Since in my "dreams" she attacked based on the amount of debuffs on the enemies, and Black Swan does give Defense reduction on skill...

i just started hsr recently and managed to pull black swan. i don't have any dot characters that work with her yet, but she's so pretty i don't even care. i have plenty of time to get the characters that'll work with her, i'm just glad she came home.
People have been talking about support characters for her constantly. She is perfectly fine without them. She herself is a full dps with def shred. She doesn't need any help lol
Honestly, try getting a sampo. He's probably your best 4* to go alongside her for now

@@6235river I would build Sampo, choose Guinafen from the current event (4 star selector) and wait for the re-runs of Kafka, Ruan Mei and Huohuo. In my case I'm waiting for Ruan Mei and Huohuo...
It's really satisfying I got her by accident and I was skeptical at first but she is one of my favorite unit now 😭 and I just have Sampo to pair with her have to get Kafka and Huo Huo in the future

I'm a new player and just lost my 50/50 to Clara. Was really hoping to get Black Swan so pretty disappointed by that. Guess I gotta start saving pulls for a different banner
While watching this i was thinking about her E1 if it's even worth it. Since i kinda not sure about Sparcle and probably will skip until Acheron is out i thought why not push a pity towards her a little, if i'm lucky i'll get some eidolons or even Clara (the only standart 5* i miss) and still should have enough by the time Acheron is out so i made 30 pulls and got a 5*. And wont 50/50, so now time to test how actually good her E1 is compared to E0 which is insane already.
People aren't ready for my hot take that Swan might be the best damage dealer in the game rn (even ahead of JL etc)
It's not that hot of a take. Without any support she brings def shred and still shows insane dmg. If you lay her with ruan mai plus kafka she is just boosted

Like Topaz & Ratio's Follow ups, DOT is a pretty different Measurement when compared to DPS per Screenshot, but It ain't a Bad Take whatsoever to say Black Swan is top of the Meta. (I mean my crappy relic E0S0 BS I got in 50 pulls can Clear MOC 11 with my Kafka in 3 cycles) and she clears Pure Fiction current cycle 40k and the first Pure fiction 30k.

Try dr ratio and black swan, my swan still does a bunch of dmg and my dr ratio always does 30k with his follow up attack and is always able to use his follow up no matter what

Sugar and gentle stir also gives the curio. Stir vigorously has a higher chance to not give the curio
@@giratina121298 it's actually the opposite, stir has a 70% chance of a curio. Gently is a 50% of Curio, 25% of nothing and 25% of a battle like Xlice got. :)

Smh I didn't think I'd win my 4th 50/50 and got Swan. I don't have Kafka but I have a e1 Sampo, e6 luca, e4 serval and e4 guenifine but I'm torn between luca bc I have e2 Clara for phys. I'm ganna have to build a few dot chars now.

Yeah im very shocked that having a full team of E6S5 characters with every single blessing would do that much dmg. Like what did u expect to happen?

Acheron is might better since she is the first emanator.
Up to you, just pull whoever you like the char design, personality, play style of, etc.
You can always make any character work with effort and research, just pull whoever you like more.
BS is DoT focused, and while she can work even if you don't have Kafka + RM, her best DMG output includes Kafka + RM.
If you don't have Kafka you can still play with E4+ Sampo, and it's still pretty good, but yeah her highest ceiling is with Kafka.
Acheron is kinda like lightning argenti. A unit that doesn't do much on basic/skill (aside from building towards ult).
And then your ult is a gigantic nuke that hits 99999x for 69420 morbillion damage.
She's cool if you like this kind of play style.
She also doesn't use energy and can't get energy, she gets ult by stacking flowers (which you get from skill and basic),
So unlike argenti, she can't abuse energy supps like tingyun huohuo, and would want action advance supp like bronya/sparkle instead.
But she also wants 3 nihility on the team for her other passive (before E2), so maybe bronya is awkward, but we'll see.

Kafka does in fact proc arcana stacks, that is why she is by far Black Swan's best teammate
