@@thegougy and it was illegal, can you explain to me why is every street cat in USA has trust issues
It doesnt surprise me that the people of the orchestra treated the cat so well. I've been there and it really is part of their culture to treat stray animals with respect. In Istanbul they spay/neuter their stray dogs. Local businesses would feed the dogs/cats. They were very healthy looking for strays.
@josie there are many Videos on youtube of that, and they made a film called kedi, about some of those cats in istanbul!
@XDranzer000 Even though people in Istanbul look after the cats and the dogs, they are in fact overpopulated, and people as well as the state spay/neuter these animals as much as they can. Typically the public vet hospital takes the animal in, spay/neuter them, give them the necessary vaccines incl. rabies, and return them to their original spot once the animal has come to their sense.
Im pretty sure they mean neuter. Spay/neuter refers to surgically removing an animals ability to reproduce, so that strays dont create more strays. Spay for girls neuter for boys
That's very heartening to know ♡♡♡♡ It's a good sign of humanity.. I wish more cultures were like this in this aspect.

"Hello, Hoomans. Thank you for coming. Isn't my Orchestra wonderful?"
🤣🤣🤣
I love how they just let the cats stay and hang out, get some attention, claim ownership and listen to some oldies. I wish the rest of the world could be like that. Here in America we would probably call animal control and the cat would be sent to a shelter where it will eventually be euthanized simply because it's alive and exists. Cats are just too cool and so are the Turkish people.
' the cat would be sent to a shelter where it will eventually be euthanized simply because it's alive and exists.'
That made me so sad to hear :(( Do not get me wrong but i am happe to be a muslim Turk. Our profhet Muhammed is send to this world for mercy. God/Allah orders us to be mercifull. Profhet muhammed said: Show mercy for the ones on the ground (animals and humans) so that the one (God) in the sky will show mercy to you (on judgement day)
It's important to know that "stray" or "feral" cats are more established in Eurasian ecosystem than in the Americas. Cat's are super efficient killers that are responsible for many extinctions and endangering native bat and bird species. In the middle east and europe cats have been part of the population for over a thousand years, so the ecosystem is adapted to them, however in the Americas and Australia they are endangering the wildlife, so governments try to restrain their population.
@@foreverinafantasy It's not about that here in America. Many of the indigenous wildlife in America have been lost do to hunting and extermination, past and present. Animals in shelters are killed because of money and irritation on many people here. They kill these animals intentionally without even taking them to shelters. They shoot them, poison them, purposely run them over or have other animals kill them. I've seen so much here that is done to these animals by people simply because they see them as a nuisance or those people are evil. I've been in fights, physical fights, because people were torturing cats and dogs and I went to stop them. I've seen assholes in cars try to hit cats running across the road. 3 of the feral cats we care for have all been hit by cars just left in the road. I've seen animal control go to a cat who was hit by a car and dying and she didn't care that this cat was in no shape to hurt her, just handled him so roughly and I begged her to let me do it but she told me if I didn't let her do her job she would call the police. There are many here who care for animals, who work hard to give them a chance at life but there more who don't care, especially when it comes to cats. They are murdered by humans here in this country because they exist. Because they are alive and to take care of them requires space, food and staff to care for them and all that requires money. They are no more safe in shelters than they are on the streets and unfortunately that's the cold hard truth about this country. It's every man, woman, child and animal for themselves here and who ever can't handle it, loses and for some they lose their life.
@@JustTanya. there are fuckers who do the same thing in turkey but a standart turkish guy who has basic human decency is cool to animals
@@nebilm8947 Yeah, there are sick bastards everywhere but it's nice to see when people are accepting of animals being animals and not a nuisance.

The Turkish people are very kind to street animals. It is my daily prayer that all countries follow Turkey.
Conductor said, "So, I tried to take this little cat out from stage, too. But it kicked me off. I can show you *shows his wrist scratches* ". I swear the cat looked like it was supervising.
For the people who are curious about well-being of the stray cat, I'm sure she is fine.
Cats are domesticated in Fertile Crescent, which is partly in Turkey, almost 10.000 years ago. Thus, people are used to seeing cats in everywhere throughout countless civilizations.
Consequently, Turkish people are quite considerate in terms of stray cats. For instance, in the district of Besiktas, people leave Royal Canin cat food on the streets. People including my mother buy extra chicken parts to boil and give it to strays everyday. Municipalities have vets constantly checking stray animals (fixing them, curing for fleas, parasites, injuries and so on), which is completely free. When it is possible to hail, people make sturdy cat houses and leave on streets just in case.
Taking care of stray animals is considered as an unofficial common duty among Turkish people; so, the stray animals are more human-oriented and affectionate in here.
And this is why I love the Turks. That cat looked at every one of them with zero fear.
