- It's November 11th, 2023 and I'm chasing CPKC train 928 with NS 1065 leading. I also catch 228 with CP 7030 "Strathcona" as mid DPU!

What's NS doing up in Plattsburgh? Did CP finally give up the old D&H to NS?
Nope! Haulage/trackage rights. Daily trains 928 and 929 from and to the CN at Rouses Point
@@NorthCountryTrains ok. Here in Schenectady NS is running 4 to 6 trains daily right through town both north and south on the
D&H from Binghamton to Mechanicville. They take their loads out of Mechanicville over the old B&M / Pan Am to Ayer, Mass. To be honest I rarely see a CP train on the Binghamton main anymore. I am old enough to remember nothing but D&H, B&M and NY Central here. I also vividly remember driving by the old Alco plant and seeing the yard full of new diesels and two tracks of steamers in the back.
