It's been wonderful watching Will's journey over the past few years from an excitable kid, to an accomplished engineer who is clearly confident in what he's building.
Please use eye-protection you soon someone wont see much, and bet you rather be able seeing than hearing. Even if that sucks to. Yeah, I'm boring at partys to.

Of the mechanical masterpieces that have been dreamt up on this channel over the years could the Chang Li be the most entertaining? The Will and Edwin dynamic is awesome and a bit dangerous!
This is one of the few channels that I can sit down and watch long videos from and be entertained start to finish. Love the projects! Keep up the good work.
You should look for at least 7°angle for a U-joint, with both ends at the same angle and phase/yoke alignment. If they run straight, the needle bearings gets busted and if the angles or alignment is not correct, the rotational speed will change 4-8 times/revolution. Both ways it makes things vibrate.
Agreed on the two U-joints needing to have the same angle (plus correctly clocked joints), but could you explain what issue needle bearings have with no angle load?
You make a wild claim. Please back it up. I've never heard your claim about needle rollers. Makes no sense to me. Evidence time. Link an article please
Guys. I want you to think about something. As a welder of 30+ yrs I keep seeing all you youtuber influencers doing the same thing. So whats the process of plasma cutting? Basically a superheated stream of air that is atomizing the media you are cutting and spraying it away from your kerf, thus seperating the pieces. Correct in laymans terms, if i had to explain it to a newbie? So have you looked under your table below the slag path? There is an electronic machine thats got a fan cooling it sucking in all that atomized iron and other ferrous materials directly into the case. Maybe its just me, but i have always kept my machines above my cutting/welding tables so I'm not blasting shavings or slag into them. They don't tend to work well when they short out.
Not likely they will see this comment, but you are 100% correct. This happened to my plasma like 15 years ago, got too much metal dust up in it and shorted the circuit board. Expensive lesson.
Ooooh that's a great point. I keep some 3D printers in the same space as my metal cutting equipment. I don't have much choice given my living conditions, but I will isolate and filter my printing spaces for now!
Ive only been watching for a few months now, but I have to say that your video quality is fantastic. The editing and cinematography combined with the content are premium in every definition 👌

Love that a Wisconsin company is sponsoring you. Custom offsets is great to work with as a customer at least. My tires were delayed because of the manufacturer of the rubber. They took care of me very well and were very responsive with questions.

Love the video, love the content: Will's growth as a fabricator has been amazing to witness. I will add that maybe he should do some research on how u-joints work, by making the front half of that shaft nearly straight, and the rear at an angle, it's causing inconsistent speeds as suspensions flex. U joints actually need matching angles front and rear to function properly.
Saw the long box and just went "score, 2 post hoist!". The Ballancer is a score as well but the hoist is a game changer. Big ups on the air compressor as well.
You guys are awesome! The amazing things you have managed to achieve through this channel is nothing short of incredible. It’s so cool to see how much you have all progressed over the years too, and I wonder what will be accomplished in the next 10 years. I have to say though, you owe your loyal subscribers a lot for the continued support and it’d be nice to see you give back in some way, like free to enter giveaways or something. Even just little things like parts, machinery, tools or vouchers it doesn’t have to be thousands worth. Why would the needle bearings care about running straight?

Needles do not roll enough and with time they dig in which makes the joint sticky.

that and the vaporized steel being in the air, with no water bed or dust collection will screw up your lungs quick

The plasma table is supposed to have water in it. It’s not blowing slag any farther than the table, that’s probably the safest spot in this case.
