I like how all the stareotypes in the Wii version are either purely positive, or subverted in cleaver ways. Like how piston hondos bowing may seem stereotypical, it’s a show of good sportsmanship in Japanese culture. Soda popinski is a living example of Russians being built different. Bear hugger always has a cheery grin and seems to be boxing for the fun of it. And glass joe, despite being a “wimpy Frenchman”, never quits boxing or forfeits mid match despite having gotten his ass kicked 99 times.
It’s definitely the best imo. Now given, I love all of the Punch-Out games, they’re all super fun and filled with charm that no other boxing game can do. Cause Punch-Out isn’t really a “boxing” game, it’s a puzzle game with punches.
The Super Macho Man arc keeps me coming back to this VOD. I love how someone joked that he’s transmasc and Salty and everyone else seemed to go along with it, as a transmasc it makes me happy with how little debate there was it’s just: “Oh, he’s transmasc, and he’s fucking sick.”

Punch Out for the Wii exploits my greatest weakness, which is getting distracted by animation and forgetting to fight.
I love soda-pop's sound design, the kshhhhk of an opening soda can is a neat detail.
