Another vanilla option to challenge yourself: *self-building frost walker ice bridge*
This has been done using zero-ticked waterlogged blocks and armor stands. Also, it doesn't melt when given a roof or in the End, making it practical and beneficial.
I hope you find it a fun challenge to try from scratch! (And maybe we see it on Hermitcraft someday.)

This should be used decorate the sides of the dolphin highway on Hermitcraft. A walkway could be added to the sides so it feels more like a complete structure. I’d be interested to see if this could be used to make wall / pillars as well. I think it’s generally impractical, but for long regular structures like bridges, tunnels, and walls it would be interesting to see how a redstone contraption could automate the work. Even if the machine is slow, going afk while the machine finishes portions of a build would be very helpful. You could even set up chunk loaders along the path to extend the range of the machine.

6:44 watching your time-lapse was like watching time-lapse of a bride being built IRL, when the machine moves each pre-built section in to place, and you see it form one solid structure.

i've just finished watching the video from about 5 years ago of him playing bedrock edition to try the redstone, and i've go to say i think we need a whole series or something of mumbo trying bedrock again.

Honestly I use your redstone tutorials and how to use redstone to building adventure worlds.
With this I can make a quest where after the quest finishes it triggers the redstone machine to activate and create the bridge. I dont know just a thought I had and that’s how I’d use this. LOVE ALL your videos

There are two types of people who love Mumbo's videos: those who understand what he's saying when he's talking about redstone, and those who don't understand redstone but love him anyway.

That bridge also looks so cool, I love it so much! It would be amazing to see you build this to make some very long bridge somewhere on Hermitcraft someday, be it in this season or the next!

Hi Mumbo, Sweden here.. I’m so happy you got you spark back, after your last years creative slope, so that you could continue to enjoy, inspire and fascinate me! Love your videos. Feel no pressure to make something new and over the top in every new video. I would be excited if you decided to swim for a whole episode.
