I tried the chignon for the first time yesterday for a day out and a party afterwards and it was effortless and stayed in place all day! Thank you for your video! It's good to have another updo to call apon ☺
Also, as I person who wears these hair styles frequently, and also has bangs, you absolutely can do these hair styles with bangs 😊 just leave them out of the twist part at the beginning, and continue with the tutorial from there!
OK with bangs that would be so great, like I'm not sure if anyone is going for this look when they say vintage, but that's Laura Ingalls Wilder right there with bangs and milkmaid braids
I appreciate this tutorial so much. I previously tried a different tutorial for a chignon but it was complicated and harder to replicate. Your chignon tutorial is a wonderful alternative hairstyle instead of a classic bun that I can do on my daughter for ballet class.
I can't wait that my hair grows longer! I'm in the middle of growing it out and it already is longer than it's been for ages but I can't quite do these yet easily.
Thank you for explanation. Looks very beautiful the hair styles. I have really thick and curly hair but I will try them out. You look so delicate and elegant. I love it
I love milkmaid braids! My favourite hairstyle, and it suits you very well I must say. Everytime I do this hairstyle, I got lots of compliments, at work or even by strangers, it's really pretty :)
Thank you so much. I’ve been trying to find an up do I can do!!!! So many ‘easy’ ones which are impossible...but I managed to do the second one. Yay. Xxx
The only change I would make is crossing them accross the back of your head, makes it more interesting from behind, whilst still looking amazing. Love your work. ❤
We’re all a part of this lovely journey!!! Exciting! “Please...subscribe.....” hahahhahahhahaha Love you girly!!!! Show us your book collection, movie collection, wardrobe (fashion show) for different occasions
I've already discoverd your channel about 3 days ago. I'm obsessed! You're gorgeous, create good quality content and... just wow! I love it. You have new subscriber and, please, just keep do what you're doing! Sorry for bad English (not my first language)
Such a good tutorial! I love chignons! I’ll be singing for a Armed Forces Day event in June and I can’t wait to do the first hairstyle for my 1940s style look! 🥰🥰🥰
I am looking forward to try these two hairstyles very soon! I hope to see some other elegant hairstyles on your channel in the future as well :) I really like your channel and I think for a beginner you do it so well (as if you are not a beginner at all hehe). Good luck to you! ❤️
Anyone trying these hair styles: when using your bobby pins, ALWAYS make sure the knobbly side like this --> /\/\/\ is the part going against your head! This should not be the side facing upwards into the sky! It's how the pin grips other hair on your scalp and stays put!
Thank you sooo much!👍 I'm growing out my hair to donate so I'm about 3 inches away and have no idea what to do with it all😢. This is a great ideas, and I'm looking forward to using it 😊❤.
Honestamente no entiendo porque solo hablo español pero me gusta mucho lo que haces me encanta este canal por eso me suscribí ayer excelente contenido!! Bendiciones y que el canal cresca mucho mucho.
hey!! I love the video :) personally will have to practice using bobby pins, though... anyway, I was wondering what hair products you use? because we seem to have similar hair types except yours is so smooth and shiny haha!
I know this is an old video but I have a question about the first style. I have below shoulder length hair, but I’m growing out my bangs. They’re only halfway down the bridge of my nose. What would you recommend? Should I try to twist them into the rest of my hair? I’m so not good at hair! But I want to keep it long and I love these simple vintage updos-especially for summer.
I know this comment is six months old, so your bangs have probably grown out by now, but if you ever have the same problem, I reccomend braiding two tiny braids and pinning them into the twist, it always works for me :-)
I'm starting to become obsessed with the vintage looks. They look so clean and well put together
me too!!! i love looking at old family pictures and seeing everyone looking so well dressed 🥺
It always makes me wish a bunch of 1930's gangsters would get me drunk and have their way with me.
Thats why I love them too! I can do my hair in the morning and look put together for the rest of the day!

Love it! Finally I found someone with LONG hair like mine to teach vintage hairstyles. Because on YT, they usually have short hair.
Yes, not to mention THICK hair! 👍 That seems to be even harder to find.
I’ve found lots! I made a playlist of hairstyle tutorials for very long hair and there’s 200 vids
Going to a 1930’s mystery party tomorrow and needed a last minute hair do. The first one is so simple and quick! Thank you so much :D
I tried the chignon for the first time yesterday for a day out and a party afterwards and it was effortless and stayed in place all day! Thank you for your video! It's good to have another updo to call apon ☺
Yayy I'm super glad to hear that ☺

Thanks 💕 That was what I was wondering about... 🤭

This is the first time I have ever been able to do proper milk maid braids, thank you so so much

I love milkmaid braids! My favourite hairstyle, and it suits you very well I must say.
Everytime I do this hairstyle, I got lots of compliments, at work or even by strangers, it's really pretty :)
Me too !
You said "Of course you have to brush your hair" and my curly haired self just laughed. 😂
and uh i have a request, do you know any worldwide vintage clothing stores? can you make a video about this topic?
I'll talk about it in an upcoming video ☺
@amoravelstore is sooo lovely💕💕💕
Thank you so much. I’ve been trying to find an up do I can do!!!! So many ‘easy’ ones which are impossible...but I managed to do the second one. Yay. Xxx
Oh my goodness so cute!! The milkmaid braids are my favorite 🥰
Trying to pay attention to the hair styles but keep getting distracted by your makeup that is absolute perfection!!!! 😍 Your skin looks amazing!
Very nicely done and very pretty. Buns hold very easy, if the hair isn't cut. Then it has no blunt edge, but gets thinner towards the end.
OMG I LOVE BOTH OF THESE HAIRSTYLES 😍😍
By the way, you look just incredible and so natural, and green is absolutely your colour!
That's very kind! Thank you ☺
Me encanta lo que es el estilo vintage y cuando vi tus videos me gustaron muchísimo... Me encanta 😊
I remember seeing your milkmaid braids for the first time and needing to know more, now I can die happy

I like your version of the chignon 😊
The only change I would make is crossing them accross the back of your head, makes it more interesting from behind, whilst still looking amazing. Love your work. ❤
