Obsidian Flames is the newest Pokemon Card Booster Box - featuring Ultra Rare cards like the Charizard ex Special Illustration Rare and Ultra Rare Gold Charizard ex. There's even a Full Art Charizard ex...I'm sensing a trend here.
It's a pretty small set with some insane Hit Rates - featuring a lot of Pokemon Card reprints too - like Arven...seriously? But that doesn't mean we can't have some fun with it - cause I opened this Booster Box with the Pokemon TCG World Champion Henry Brand!

I know its not for everyone but I like that Pidgeot sar. Gives off MS paint vibes but thats kind of why I like it. Affordable as single right now as well. Can’t wait to pick one up in Japanese!

jluv! some good to know info about english pull rates for booster boxes: 9 times out of 10 you are going to pull either an illustration rare and a gold card OR 2 illustration rares. its unlikely but possible to only get a gold card or only get an illustration rare in a box. but overall i like to expect 1 IR and 1 gold and hope for 2 IRs in my boxes.

As a collector it's interesting to see a players view on cards. To me they look good and that's it. Hoping to learn to play soon.
