@@freshness7114 I mean it's not usually an issue on the street I've never seen temps like that before but after 4 laps of absolutely hard driving, it got there on the track
Ive been driving a 2 door one of these, for the last 6 weeks. That noise never gets boring, but the visits to the petrol station, are many, and its super only.
Oil temperature went from 96°C up to 133°C. I'd recommend an oil cooler as well. I'd love to know what pads people use on the w204's for fast road/occasional track. I use yellow stuff on my s2000 and love them but I've never used anything other than stock on the c63.
My Sentiments exactly. I have a w211 e63... the temp goes up as soon as you get on it... with speed due to air flowing through the coolers it drops. This one needs a cooler ASAP.
i mean for the facelift thats pretty normal operating temperatures, there is a big cooler upgrade but the stock bumper on the facelift blocks more air than the prefacelift.
Very well done as always Misha!!! What I love about these drives is that it gives the owners of their cars a really good sense and understanding on how the car handles and it’s limitations by just focusing on the car itself as a passenger. Kudos Misha!!!
Surprisingly stable in these conditions. Considering its power output, huge low end and high end torque and its pretty stable, havent slide much in the corners if at all.
Its always decats with a tune and maybe some better brakes, but almost never an improved oil cooler. 133c on the oil is not healthy at all for the engine, and it wasn't even pushed hard by Misha, or on hot weather.
I watched a video where you were driving a C63 AMG coupe with four passengers, it seemed like the gearbox or the gas pedal went into emergency mode. The box temperature there was 129 and here it was 133 and the gearbox is fine! Misha, you are just a great driver, bravo!
