Glad to see they fixed his name in the first frame. They had it on the TV screen at his chair and on the footer on the screen as DUEL

14:08 best break of the whole match. Good job Shane. 17:10 Corey's best break in this match by far.

The cueball control vs players like Gorst or Filler... the differences are monumental.

    Those pockets are huge!!

I agree. At first I assumed they were normal Diamond pockets--around 4.5". Now after watching several matches I think they are more like 4.75". Even allowing for slippery cloth, some balls went in that surprised me.

what's the deal with the overall clock that gave Corey the win? Never seen this rule before

timed matches. if they were 4 games each or 5 games each there would have been a 6 ball shootout. that is why i myself personally prefer the 'best out of' format instead of 'race to' format. and best out of 7 is ussually only a 20 minute match. must also mention i only play amatuer not profesional like these guys that do it full time.

Why use blue chalk on grey cloth? Especially master chalk. It just never made any sense to me tbh. Master is also super dirty unlike Taom. It would honestly make more sense to use something cleaner like Taom or chalk that matches the table colour like KO brothers grey chalk, G2 grey chalk, and Kamui Kageki chalk. Oh well I guess since it seems the master never got on the table itself.

Masters still has great quality in regards to cueing. But as dirty as it is, I bought taom last November and never run masters again. I spent two hours a week cleaning the table and equipment, now I go three weeks or more. Incredible difference. $20 vs 50 cents, yep, worth every dollar.

I mean, Masters has the sentimental value to it. Sure, it may not be the best chalk, but it’s the chalk every American player grew up with. I mean, Shane Van Boening won the 8-ball world championship using only Masters chalk, so it still holds up.
