    You're my best friend! I used to decorate cakes too, and then I did cement. I still have a half-finished HUGE pot that's been sitting on my deck for months. I have a new distraction. I have been doing pottery. It's a lot like cement, only lighter. I love your videos and thank you so much for your service as well.

      Pottery was going to be my next stop before cement. It was just too expensive for me. Clay can be pricey, kiln, glazes, wheel all too much for me.
      I look forward to seeing your new creations.
      And yes, I think there are a lot of us out there who reinvent themselves a few times in life, personally, professionally as well as creatively.
      Thank you new best friend😊💕

      I love blue willow. In grade school I read a book called Blue Willow. I have loved the pattern every since.
      Thank you for stopping by to chat. Have a nice weekend

    Love it! Budget friendly art that all can engage in. Especially like your advice to "think outside the box" for creative ideas. Kudos!

      HAHAHA you are welcome. Lol just what we need more ideas right? This bunny has been sitting out in shade and in the weather and the decoupage is still in tact. I use the bunny as a door stop keeping my shop door open.
      Thank you for your interest and kind comments.😊

      @@VennasNature Thx :) I have tried the decoupage yesterday on some test concrete hearts and it was so easy and fun! and it looks SO much better than I could ever paint something to look, I think I've found my new favourite crafting technique :)

    have you tried using styrofoam beads instead of vermiculite?

    • @VennasNature
      @VennasNature  Рік тому +1

      No I have not but I do use pearlite to make it lighter.

    Awesome job. So one part is 4 cups right?

    • @VennasNature
      @VennasNature  3 роки тому

      Thank you Sharon. Yes, for this project one part is 4 cups.
      If you make a smaller project just remember the part to part portland cement to perlite, sand and water.
      Thank you for viewing and your question and comment😊
