Hello Nancy thank you for viewing. We have had a big life change here in our 60s we just took on raising out 8 yr old grandson. He takes quite a bit of time and I still work full time. I hope to send out a couple videos I am trying to get time to edit. I have not been in my workshop for the 11 weeks he has been with us. I hope one day when he is settled to get back into my art. Have a great day.😁
Love, love, love! Thanks for showing the process and details. Have you thought about making a video for the chicken? Others that I have seen do not share detailed information like you do.
@@VennasNature I am going to experiment with something smaller first 🙂 I usually sculpt with air dry clay and also wild clay from my garden. Cement/mortar is a new concept to me but I'm excited to try it!

This is so cute!! Do you sell your creations on any of the selling platforms, etsy, etc. I live in Phoenix and am hoping to start selling some of my stuff, but there are so many platforms out there it's hard to decide which ones are better. ???

I tried the1cup plaster of Paris with the 1/4cup glue the glue was Elmer’s white washable glue but it won’t stay soft and pliable....is there a certain glue u use
Hello Lois😊 The plaster and glue clay will only be workable for 10 minutes we gotta work fast. My next favorite clay I make is this one. It won't last to the next day however it will be workable if you keep it in a plastic bag and knead it once in a while for almost an hour. Both the plaster clay and the papercrete clay I make small amounts at a time. Here is the papercrete clay Papercrete Recipe 1 c damp toilet paper pulp squeeze out most of the water 1/4 c white glue 1/2 c versabond thinset 1/2 cup portland cement Mix together to the consistency you want thinner for spreading stiffer for modeling I have many projects on my UA-cam site using the papercrete clay 😊 Have fun. I hope this helps😊
They can get dried out if I don't apply lotion each time I wash my hands in between steps. No, I have not had any problems otherwise. I do wear gloves when I am mixing large batches of Hypertufa. I suggest wearing gloves if you have sensitive skin or concerns.
Did i post to u what made my mix turn rubbery...IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE PAPER!!!!! BEWARE IF U EXPERIENCE IT...MIX A TAD OF THE GLUE WITH THE PAPER..I MADE HUGE AMOUNTS AND THEY WERE RUINED
