    I'm sad I used FF for months before realizing you had a menu that would add fluid to or obstacle all selected objects etc I did it by python and really, really should have looked.. Now being able to toggle visibility is a solid addition. With the utmost respect I have a question about force fields. I was really excited about you adding in vortex forces, but I have heard nothing for several updates while at the time it was described as seemingly easy.
    I mainly ask as it would be a bit easier to do it vs the single line with rotation method if it were officially in the addon. I'm just curious if this is going to go into beta soon so I can watch for it. The new features you are working on with speed/velocity are incredible and I do not want to seem ungrateful I'm just an excited user who'd like to take a chance to ask my question. Thanks for your hard work.
    Watching your video to the end, I'm glad I can at least increase water resolution from a particular frame because as you likely understand sometimes with FF you need to get the water moving first and it can be a pain to rebake. So glad you can upscale from a particular frame.

      Hi! Thank you for your message! We are happy to hear you like the way our addon works.
      Unfortunately adding force fields is a complicated thing and might take longer than expected. It is not just coding new features. We get many support requests and we are fixing bugs and issues all the time. Please have some patience. Working with a rotating obstacle will be fine!
      And if you already simulated something- how would it be to join the customer reel 2021 ;) ?

    Thank you for this cool update video. Learnt a few things there I didn't know!
    Are there any plans to make it possible to use influence maps, procedural or bitmap, to for example an obstacle to make it have more friction in some places than others.
    Coming from a Maya background, it is possible to use maps for almost every input.
    I don't know if this is a huge thing to implement? (probably is) :)

    Looks realy great! Like the Apic results. BTW how about the Fracture modifier for Blender 2.9x and up? Any news please?

      Unfortunately we can't say anything about the FM. Maintaining your own modifier was very costly, because a lot of code had to be adapted with each new Blender version. That will be the reason why you didn't continue after 2.79. But as I said, we're not the developers - so we don't know for sure.

    trying to figure out if it is possible to only produce water drops on a surface. can this be done with FF? Animations working pretty good actually. I love the AddOn in general. Thank you for what you do!!!

      This can be done. You can model drops and make them a fluids object. Surface Tension helps to make them connecting.

    Why while Baking , the CPU works only on 20-40 % of its capacity...?Is it possible to make CPU baking on 100%?And thus increase baking speed

    This is VERY helpful, as I always Command Line Render my projects in the background 95% of the time, it’s really cool you added a tool because doing it manually is not hard but this definitely saves time.
    Now one question can this tool work for all of my other other projects even if I’m not not using Flip Fluids for that particular project? If ao this is a game changer because it would save so much time than having to go into CMD file and entering all the star and end frames manually.

      Yes, it will work with non-flipfluids-scenes as well!

      @@FLIPFluids can you explain how, I just tried it but the batch render area seems to be frayed out unless I create a domain and save a project in Flip Fluids. It’s no big deal as I can continue to do it manually but it would be super dope if I could render every project in the background with just a. Click of the button LOL…I may just e doing it wrong. I’ll keep playing around with it.

      @@olewismediagroup Cannot reproduce this. It´s greyed as long as your file is not saved. But still works without a domain.

      Sure! You can also use imported alembic animations and use them as obstacles!

    How many cpu cores do you access or is that limited to Blender?

      Actually less cores with more GHz are working faster than more cores with less GHz. However, this is something we will work on in the future!

      Yes, support for Blender 3.0 was added in the latest FLIP Fluids addon update (version 1.2.1). The addon is updated for newer versions of Blender shortly before release.
