Phil also spoke the Truth when he said Jordan was the better Defensive Player.

Phil never spoke about jordan being defensive he just mentioned the physical attributes of jordan over Kobe but never fully clarified about who is better because he knows both of them.

@@Oxc1805 -- Yes he did. Phil even said in his book that after 2004, kobe's 9 time All Defensive selections were more based = "on his reputation than actual defensive performance".
The book was titled: "The Last Season: A Team in Search of It's Soul".
      He was Speaking Facts.

@@MasterSpade but at the end of the day Phil knew he cant pick Kobe over jordan or vice versa he understands it and respects them let's just agree on that for me Kobe was always the best but for u it's MJ.
      Let's agree on that

@@Oxc1805 -- Honest question = you really think kobe was BETTER than Jordan? Or was kobe just your "Favorite" player? Huge difference between the 2.
IMO, and most agree, Jordan is #1 and no one is even Close. Magic Johnson agreed with that when He Said: -- "There's Michael Jordan... and then there's the rest of us (everyone else)".

See, brother, I don't see any point in arguing about this fact. For you, Jordan is the best, the greatest. For me, Kobe is the best, the greatest. But I'll definitely tell you one thing: this debate is going to go on forever. It's never going to end. The conversation will definitely never end. It’s a good conversation. And of course, we have everyone: Jordan, James, and Kobe. If you really look at the championship rings, then we can call Bill Russell the greatest of all time. I'm not saying that Jordan is better than Kobe or Kobe is better than Jordan. Whatever you see in Kobe, it comes from Mike. Kobe himself explained this. The qualities, the attributes-everything comes from Mike. It’s like differentiating between a younger brother and an older brother, and asking who is better. It’s completely pointless, right? Similarly, if Jordan had come after Kobe and Kobe had been there before Jordan, the effect would have been the same. Both of them had the same mentality and killer instinct, and everyone agrees with that. Magic Johnson said Kobe was the closest thing to Michael. It’s like a brotherly relationship. Kobe tried to emulate Jordan on the court and off the court, in business, basketball, influence, and everything else, including playing for the national team. Everything was similar to Jordan. Jordan showed how to become one of the greatest or the greatest. Kobe embraced, learned, and took that to the next level. If we include LeBron James, he learned from both of them and became the face of the modern era of basketball.

      The entire 80s couldn't play without Coke😂
The 90s couldn't play bc the NBA rigged it for MJ
      Shaq changed the 2000s
And yet all people can do is preserve the legacy of some aging bag of ass that played 30 fuckin years ago.
MJ is shit and would be shit in today's NBA.
