Why does this not have millions of views! I hate how we can have such polar opposite life experiences all at the same time. Life is about our human connections, not about what we look like, who we know, or what we have in the bank. Bless these men, bless them for their sacrifice, bless them for their bravery, bless their souls. We ALL owe them our lives and total respect. Shame on us for turning a blind eye to the suffering of our fellow humans on the other side of the world.

This should have way more views than it does.

This shit is so real, and that's why I adore this platform and community. Thankyou for making this platform for people who don't really get to voice their story.

It's pretty shitty that America promised Rom(sorry if misspelled his name, the interpreter) freedom & citizenship if he successfully helps, and completes his interpreter duties to help the United States & our troops....Which he did. Yet left Rom out to dry, and didn't keep there word. Our government & politicians are so fucked in this beautiful country. Just sad.
What an amazing story! God bless all of you. 👍

These guys risked the lives of everyone in their family and people they knew in areas they were from. The government doesn’t even take care of its own soldiers or keep promises to them why do you think they would to anyone.

The evil that controls see people like Rom as flakes of dust meant to blow away when they are thru using them.

Yup first thing that came to mind! I saw the trailer the other day that’s the one with Jake gyllenhal right? It’s literally like their story I wonder if they took these guys real life story and made it to a movie and then ofc added the Hollywood crap on top of it so they can’t be hit with copyright etc

Cpl Ervin… “Granny Smith Apples”. For those of you that don’t know he is the creator of Momma Dog and did some work for Nat Geo on a documentary about the war in Afghanistan. From one of your former boots in 2/9 E 1/1 I wish you well

Hey brother. Did you ever tell about the time you saved a womans life in Sedona? I prayed the woman lived but never found out. I was probably the first person you told after it happened.

Jon, you are a good person, and I personally admire what you have done on this show, but your voice reaches millions of people, and I think it would be just if you get a Palestinian or an Arab and have a conversation with them about Palestine🇵🇸 and the truth of what's happening there and that has been going on for decades, that's all I am asking of you Jon, to spread the truth...
    Free Palestine🇵🇸

As an Afghan i would say that the American soldier Travis in this video is worthy of all the respect as he fought for his country, but the interpreter is worthy of nothing even a dog deserves more respect than this interpreter for selling his country.

I understand him wanting to help him and being so about getting g him and his family a home this and that but there are people right here IN AMERICA that are struggling that deserve a home too a real man makes sure his home is safe and secure and taken care of before inviting others and putting others above your locals and your own country and community.

Guaranteed this guy did more for America’s interests than a lot of those homeless people you’re talking about who most likely did something wrong to end up homeless in the first place. Those people still have homeless shelters they can go to or pitch a tent, these refugees only had the other option of living in hiding under the threat of death.
