Why does this not have millions of views! I hate how we can have such polar opposite life experiences all at the same time. Life is about our human connections, not about what we look like, who we know, or what we have in the bank. Bless these men, bless them for their sacrifice, bless them for their bravery, bless their souls. We ALL owe them our lives and total respect. Shame on us for turning a blind eye to the suffering of our fellow humans on the other side of the world.
This should have way more views than it does.
Jon you need to make this story come alive. With their approval of course. This story needs to be heard everywhere.
Yes
Did he not post it on UA-cam?
@@codythorne4908 true
@@codythorne4908 i’m talking abt as a live action show or movie as Jon as one of the actors
I didn't want this one to end...tons of love from Canada ❤
This shit is so real, and that's why I adore this platform and community. Thankyou for making this platform for people who don't really get to voice their story.
How freaking good is Jon's content? Absolutely my favourite interviewer. The guests and topics he covers are fantastic. Thank you Jon for being so involved and engaged in the interviews. Keep em coming man! ❤
It's pretty shitty that America promised Rom(sorry if misspelled his name, the interpreter) freedom & citizenship if he successfully helps, and completes his interpreter duties to help the United States & our troops....Which he did. Yet left Rom out to dry, and didn't keep there word. Our government & politicians are so fucked in this beautiful country. Just sad.
What an amazing story! God bless all of you. 👍
These guys risked the lives of everyone in their family and people they knew in areas they were from. The government doesn’t even take care of its own soldiers or keep promises to them why do you think they would to anyone.
The evil that controls see people like Rom as flakes of dust meant to blow away when they are thru using them.
Im going to listen to this on a car journey, thanks for making these
Yall can see the Guy Ritchie: The Covenant and its like putting this guys story into a movie. The movie is amazing!!!
Yup first thing that came to mind! I saw the trailer the other day that’s the one with Jake gyllenhal right? It’s literally like their story I wonder if they took these guys real life story and made it to a movie and then ofc added the Hollywood crap on top of it so they can’t be hit with copyright etc
Cpl Ervin… “Granny Smith Apples”. For those of you that don’t know he is the creator of Momma Dog and did some work for Nat Geo on a documentary about the war in Afghanistan. From one of your former boots in 2/9 E 1/1 I wish you well
Luv your podcast keep it up man 👍❤
Just finished this video and I’m in tears. Praise God they made it. God bless them 💚🥹
Amazing story! What a strong mother.
I wish I could like this more than once
I love your movies and series and now your podcasts ❤❤
Much love from Tennessee
Hey brother. Did you ever tell about the time you saved a womans life in Sedona? I prayed the woman lived but never found out. I was probably the first person you told after it happened.
These guys life story is Straight up like the new Guy Ritchie movie: The Covenant
My god what an amazing movie this would be. This is my favorite episode by far!
Check out “The Covenant”
A well educated film needs to be made about their story. It should be told
Huge respect to this guy (Im not gonna bitcher his name lol) but fr thats a crazy life and America needs to hear these stories more
I’ve watched a ton of your videos, I love them all but this one right here is hands down my favorite one. Thank you!
Thx Jon... keep up your good work
Hey Jon and REAL ONES team, long time fan! Ive tried to contact you before but ill keep it brief. I was a Marine during the evacuation of Afghanistan and wound up filming my whole deployment. I worked with HBO to make a documentary that won an Emmy for best investigative Documentary. Its called “Escape from Kabul” i would love to hear from you and know what you think!!
Jon, you are a good person, and I personally admire what you have done on this show, but your voice reaches millions of people, and I think it would be just if you get a Palestinian or an Arab and have a conversation with them about Palestine🇵🇸 and the truth of what's happening there and that has been going on for decades, that's all I am asking of you Jon, to spread the truth...
Free Palestine🇵🇸
The Real Ahmed 💯
Isaf should have waited one year before boots on the ground in afghan. Educate troops in afghan culture language traditions n made allies within
1st
Could’ve made all those kids love American more then taliban buy giving em toys rather than bullets n arms. Soccer ⚽️ balls etc.
When’s the last time u heard people chanting USA USA USa? Y’all need to get that back America or u will never win
Tennessee def ain’t as racist as like GA or nothin. But yea south has more racism than say rhe northeast or Cali.
As an Afghan i would say that the American soldier Travis in this video is worthy of all the respect as he fought for his country, but the interpreter is worthy of nothing even a dog deserves more respect than this interpreter for selling his country.
I understand him wanting to help him and being so about getting g him and his family a home this and that but there are people right here IN AMERICA that are struggling that deserve a home too a real man makes sure his home is safe and secure and taken care of before inviting others and putting others above your locals and your own country and community.
Guaranteed this guy did more for America’s interests than a lot of those homeless people you’re talking about who most likely did something wrong to end up homeless in the first place. Those people still have homeless shelters they can go to or pitch a tent, these refugees only had the other option of living in hiding under the threat of death.
The Afghan bro is lying too much 😅. I am in Afghanistan, worked with US missions but living peacefully here. Taliban didn't cut internet & didn't do what in the extent he is saying.
55:22 keep lying sold out p1g
