This is pure chaos. But weirdly an amazingly fitting cover. Possibly all the more so for the chaos. I adore it.

Absoloutely playing the spirit of the song here, everyone having fun making music with nothing fancy added but the camera that lets folk distributed through space and time sit in to listen. Thanks for this!

Fantastic! What a brilliant combo. Worth mentioning it was written by Ewan MacColl (back in 1947 I believe), Shane and co definitely made it their own but this version is just about as good.

The music is great, and it's a wonderful collaboration. That said, whoever wrote the description should know that it was not "originally done by the Pogues" as stated. It was written by Ewan MacColl in 1949 for a stage play. Throughout the 1960s it was a standard in the repertoires of many folk singers, both in Britain and the US. The Pogues version helped catapult the song to new audiences, but let's give credit where credit is due.

Great song! But its not originally from the Pogues, its from the British folk singer and activist Ewan MacColl, who wrote it about working class England. There's a great version of it with him and his wife Peggy Seeger. It was made famous by the Dubliners and then the Pogues. :)
