So it's a Starfleet style refit. It's the same sub, but longer, larger, taller, with a different internal layout, different weapons, different propulsion, different viewing elements.

21:25 that one missile that did not what to blow up the mast, but instead pushed it around to hit the ship was a bit like Lathland's thought process "no i will not do that, i will do this instead"

Lathland you only need 1 block width for the barrel you just need to leave a small gap to do the pistons turret and could use Pistones and stuff to move armor over and under the top of the gun

Hey Lath, I know you haven’t played Nimbatus in a while, but could you please upload a few of your more complex drones onto the steam workshop? That would let other people download and use them. I think a lot of your fans would appreciate that!
Nimbatus is one of the games where copying designs just by looking at them is quite easy

@@miltoska9708 Well, some of his drones are quite big and complex, so it’s very hard (sometimes impossible) to copy the connections and logic gates. Uploading a drone to the workshop is extremely easy, you just press a button in game and the drone is up for all to use. Some of his larger creations like the satelite protector and the orbital planet destroyer would be very fun to modify or adapt into new drones. All I’m saying is it would be a very simple action and would save a lot of people a lot of time manually recreating (or creating) huge monstrosities.

I'm starting to think Tzeentch decided to slip in some "inspiration" instead of Laths normally Khorneish, and/or Nurgleloid inspiration
Putting passive sensors and trackers on the periscope works wonders. Laser targeters, rangefinders, IR cameras and passive radar with retro-reflection sensors. That way you can still be Ninja but get really acurate info.
Looks like the sub jumped a shark so hard it ended up in orbit... Awesome!

Its has (personally) the BEST modding support and it has a big campaign, sandbox, multiplayer and custom worlds that have survival separate from the campaign so you dont have to complete it in order to get all the items an buildings. Seem good to you?
+1 to that, Mindustry is cool
just to say, but i think that factorio has the best modding support, with an entire site/portal made by the devs for mods, and even just a place to download mods in the gameitself like an integrated mod manager, but still mindustry is good so +1

The torps exploding and pushing each other away can be helpful to get weaker points

Last sub I made, I used the breadboard and the 3rd drive to set depth, basically set a constant depth target for 0% tri drive, at -100%(IE reverse) your at surface, at 100% your 2X the set constant depth.
edit, forgot, added an if enemy, all the entire depth profile of the tri drive was shifted ~25M deeper, so if i was on surface or cruising shallow and not paying attention it would auto dive 25M.
We have to thank the recording software for Lath going nuts and making a spaceship...it needs to crash more often!!

Also, thing you might do anything with sub craft? Having a little friend might help with diversifying the weaponry you have with out overcomplicating your sub even more. :)
According to the wiki the limit is per 'arm'. So, I believe you can do 5 1000m arms?

You can build a long range lens with *4x1km* long tubes
You can choose the asymmetric one and have 5x1km long tubes, I've done this myself, and it does so much damage.

Why not build a sort of citadel for the cannons? You could have a revolving door kinda like the zumwalt style thing for the cannons, if you want them semi-extendable.
One of the extremely massive missiles on the underbelly of the submarine, the missile isn’t a missile, its an extremely large and probably excessive, torpedo. Oh it’s a space craft now I think, still orbital torpedos sound pretty fun
Probably horribly impractical but how about having the cannons extend downwards from the craft. Saves on the cheesiness by being useless outside of you being above the target, which well... submarine/atopmosphere?
