You enjoy so much this game that you made this little kinda tutorial for making your own randomizers, you give the community something no one ask for, but that everyone is thankful of. I remember the first time I played super metriod back in 1997 I was blown away. Now years later theirs a randomiser. Glad to see that super metriod is still played to this day. I have the game on my phone. And thank you for showing us how to use the randomizer. Your videos are a big help.
These randomizers are getting pretty capable and in-depth, and new ones keep coming. There's a fairly new Super Mario 64 rando out too. I think it would be cool to see you do this Super Metroid seed too, if you have the time and if you feel like doing it
How does Mario 64 get randomized? That one seems less interesting just because you collect only power stars, so only entrances, caps, and enemies could really be random, right? Not sure if it'd retain my interest. Mario 64 is like that for me anymore - the game I was most excited for ever in my life, but today get bored with fast.
Good Old Days Gaming Yeah there’s not as much to it as some of the other games randomized, but I thought I’d mention it in case you hadn’t heard of it yet. The stuff that gets randomized includes level entrances, star locations (including the star spawn point after breaking a box or beating a boss), red coin and normal coin locations, Toad locations, enemy placement (but not the enemies themselves at the moment), some boss placements (e.g. Bomb-omb king), the place where Mario starts the level, and the amount of stars required to open the doors in the castle. It can be a little boring though as you said, sometimes stars get placed at extremely easy locations and obtaining them is not a challenge anymore
The best basic challenge plandomizer I can come up with it to have Ridley and Draygon switch positions and the put Varia behind Ridley and Gravity behind Draygon.
Yeah, I'm working on Pikmin, Fire Emblem on the GBA, and hopefully Banjo-Tooie soon. It's just my living arrangement at the moment limits my ability to do commentary.
I see in some of your older videos, where you record your facial reactions, that you were wearing headphones. In my old life, I used to play piano for a living, and I have terrible social anxiety to the point where I would HATE for someone to hear my rehearsing. It would make me lose all interest in playing at all, because of the anxiety of someone else judging me. It's a semi-irrational fear, but it's still a fear. Anyway, I found that plugging in headphones helped me lose my concept of the world around me a little. I don't know if you still use headphones to record, but maybe even the idea of possibly rerouting your microphone into your headphones as well as the audio from the games could help trick your brain into thinking that you're alone with yourself. I know you said your mother will get her new house eventually, but I feel for ya on the concept of solace in privacy to let you be your true, productive self. Anyway, Fire Emblem looks fun, reminiscent of the old Ultima or FFI style. I'm down. :)

It's "Water Caves" from Samus Returns, which was originally "Red Brinstar" from Super Metroid, and also remixed in Metroid Prime 2 as "Torvus Bog".
