- This video covers every aspects of the monstera albo variegata, including care, tips on keeping their variegation, propagation, and a lot of rant about rare aroid prices these days. This video is not meant to fan the flames of this overrated species, but hopefully it will create awareness that it is a difficult plant to have and is stress-inducing. I share with you a few species of variegated plants that are more stunning than the monsteras, and assure everyone that the variegated monsteras are being propagated like crazy in collectors hands and soon there will be more supply than demand. So please be patient if you are on a waitlist/hunt for this plant.
And no I am not a plant seller so please do not inquire me about buying any cuttings, I highly appreciate it. Thank you so much for watching my videos and I hope that we can learn a lot more together!

I live for you screaming "GIAAAAAAAAAA CUT IT OUT!"
"dont let social media dictate the plants you like" we need a book of the things sean says
I’m still in love with my “regular” Monstrea they are growing like crazy! And i love it.
I just purchased a Thai Constellation. My monsteras are my most thriving plants in my home & I felt I’ve learned enough to care for this delicate variation. I’ve watched your videos for years and I’m so excited to care for my brand new baby.
I really appreciate content makers /plant enthusiast like you who bring facts on prices of plants and how overhyped they are and eventually how they’ll lose its value over time when supply increases.
Love when you give another alternative of other variegated plants give me an insight than focusing into expensive plants
Sean: I so appreciate your videos. I have learned so much about plants and my love for making more plants for others. I especially like how you show us the results in the same video. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for such kind generosity in sharing your knowledge, insight & process. I am a beginner indoor plant enthusiast and this episode has taught me so so much !!!! Thanks again for all your teachings!
“Plants are cooler than people”... Amen to that! 😆
I bought a cutting of green monstera in April and it’s thriving. Your advice regarding learning on the green version is terrific. It’s a beautiful and rewarding plant and I am confident that I will be successful with the variegated form one day. This video brought me a lot of joy 🌿💚
So beautiful! I'm guilty of jumping in with both feet the way many other people have. I am learning so much though & love propagating all of my monsters, variegated and beautiful greens 😍
I absolutely loved watching your video. You have such a calming vibe. Thank you! So happy I found you on here 😊
I really held on to your advice. I have always wanted to get a thai cons but a year ago when I saw your video, it was still up on the 5 digit range. I waited it out and after a year, it is now down on the 3 digit range in my area. I am so happy to pick up my new baby today without breaking the bank. Thank you shawn for your realistic advice. 🥰
You have beautiful collection's of variegated plants. I wish I could have variegated plants soon🌱
I absolutely love your videos! I was so excited to see you had a Monstera video.
I love the way you explain things in your videos especially re albo borsigiana! So much drama and hype involved with it, sadly, so many people are caught by it too. Us newbies could learn so much from you! You're such a cool plant parent! Much love from the Philippines !
I must say you are amazing at what you do. Love your channel and advice.
The thumbnail just became the aspiration of my life
Thank you so much for this video, I learned a lot! I am one of those people that really loves both this plant and the green version, but I've done things pretty wrong if you got so much growth in 13 weeks and I waited foreverrrr for just one leaf! haha. I also love all your little written comments, you're doing great at the youtube thing!!! And good luck with the tan line, hehe. much love from Belgium!
I just bought a Thai Con yesterday. I’ve never even seen one in my locally owned nursery. Said they only get them in stock once a year or so. It was VERY affordable compared to other prices on the internet. My other monsteras are thriving so I figured I could take care of this one and make that investment.
