good video. You can get adapters that will fit onto the Schrader valves so you can test from there. Regulator at 14:24 is actually a 3rd stage regulator with 1st and 2nd stage regs at tank
Been waiting for the LPG videos so this is absolutley fantastic Derek hopefully Pipe sizing Tightness testing. UPSO OPSO valves. Hoses Boats Caravans and camper vans
Looking forward to the next one. I have a soft spot for LPG as I started my training with Calor in 1968, only butane then until early 70's when demand for propane could be met when butane vaporising plants in commercial applications became available.
I just got rid of all my training certs etc from the 80s . In those days it was LPGITA in charge Corgi weren't interested until they heard ££s 😉 Had loads of interesting jobs and repairs on tanks . Also discovered a Clyde Combustion boiler that ran at 55mb inlet pressure that the installer never twigged and after a few weeks of arguments with client one day I turned up as the tank had tripped on opso as vent was pointing up in the air . That may have saved tragedy as when I went to restart the boiler I noticed it was full of soot and I discovered the pressure issue after reading data plate .
Excellent info on the system. Then with a Bulk LPG supply that might not refill in time. What is the best way to install 47kg bottles as a standby backup. 1 at the bulk tank ,075 bar juncture.-- 2 at the premises at 37mbar juncture. Cheers Tony
I thought about doing this but I would do it after the ECV at the property with a change over valve so isolate the ECV and open the isolation valve at the change over valve

This is an excellent video.
Learned more from this than I did from my new entry assessment I paid £300 for.
Looking forward to part 2

Good content - at 24 mins in you show a '47kw' tank - should be '47kg' just to take out some confusion for others learning LPG. Thanks
@@darrensworkshop6783 sometimes my dyslexic brain misses things up but thanks for pointing it out

Hi
Could you clarify something please, what regulation says there must be a water supply fitted in the compound.
Ace bud tgank you.
Where is the vapour service valve fitted .
You didn't find a test point on the pipework and show us a tightness test !!
Please convert your metric measurements to standard American measurements, o chap?
