Sometimes, the Tennis crowd's disrespect goes too far! In this match, The US crowd were all up against the 18 year old teenager Rafael Nadal booing him during serves and applauding his mistakes and double faults! But Rafa showed them who is the boss

Just the fact that you were able to make 2 videos of Nadal silencing crowds at such a young age is truly incredible. He is a true fighter and so glad I am able to watch him live.
Notice how even at this young age, he didn't fall for the crowd's jeering and react to it. This is what the new generation of players don't understand. If you dont react, the crowd will eventually give up and respect you.

Alien mental strength. The KING of longevity, from a young and incoming talent to winning his 21st GS at 35 years old.
Nadal wasn't well-liked back in the days because his tennis was perceived as not as "classy" as some of the other guys and also somewhat because of his unique outfits/style but if you watch his matches now at a grand slam (especially the tense ones) he'll always have huge crowd support. He "converted" people into liking him by just being himself.
He’s the GOAT no one wanted, they just don’t say it. No one wanted a clay courter to be the best, but he did it anyway. My favorite player of all time.
The French crowd during the Grosjean match (French Open 2005) was way worse and Nadal still silenced them.
Nadal came to conquer and won. Who will not fall in love with that physique, strength and determination. He is an idol to many and young generations seems to copy the way he played. Well manner man. Can't blame millions of people loving him and becoming their Hero. I wish he'll ' stay more, he' s one of the few worth watching transforming games into battles and full of excitement. U20 Nadal was an all time great already. That version would be N1 by a far margin now.
Greatest 18 year old of all time and that race is not even close. He had an unbelievable breakthrough season in 2005. He didn't just break through the door, he shattered it to pieces and was heading for tennis domination and only Federer was the one who could stop him from reaching No.1 until he, due to various reasons and factors, couldn't hold off Rafa anymore when the mid of 2008 arrived (and amazing how he even defended No.1 for 3-years long with Rafa's continued rising onslaught).
