In 2010, Rafael Nadal was on top of the tennis world. In this period he was able to achieve something that neither Federer nor Djokovic has ever done; he was able to win a Grand Slam on every single surface.

Ya lo había hecho en 2011
@@Rodrigo0809 en 2011 no ganó RG, no es ganar 3 gs, es ganar en HC, Clay y Grass
Well, in 2008 He won RG + WB + Olympic in two months and half. I think nobody else did that in men tennis
Those were all three different surfaces too. Awesome!
One of the hardest achievements in the sport: to win FO and Wimbledon back to back. The short amount of weeks in between the Grand Slams and the extreme differences of the surface must be crazy.
Djokovic did it 2 times papa,Fed only once 😂🎉
@@prempititantipool3075 You seem like a good kid, Prempiti. Too bad you’re a complete tool.
@@PeacefullMomos there's a year known as 2009 right?
@@PeacefullMomos both did it once

Always a pleasure to watch Rafael Nadal play
2010 nadal- greatest tennis player of all time
2011 and 2015 Djokovic and 2006 Federer was better

The best year of tennis history
NADAL MASTER OF ANGLE STROKES
We all know the most important thing that Nadal did in 2010 - The Haircut.
Great video man, I enjoyed it
Hasta ahora es el unico tenista 🎾 en era abierta en ganar Roland Garros ,wimbledon y Us Open en el mismo año...
And they say he is only a clay court player... nobody dominated all 3 surfaces like him
*Djokovic and Federer entered the chat*
He's only a clay court player and that's a fact, no offense to him.
What an incredible year a one not to forget
Any talk of him being a clay court specialist is so dumb
Nadal 2010 will go down in history as one of the very greatest seasons by a player, like Wilander 1988, Federer 2006 and 2007, Djokovic 2015 and 2021. But there is another season by Nadal that is underrated, and that's 2013! Even if he didn't win 3 slams that year (Djokovic won Australia and Murray Wimbledon), he won 2, and was amazingly strong that year!
Definitely a year to remember for Nadal and perhaps a lost oppotunity for Federer.
Amazing season. On par with 2008 and 2013. Same for Djokovic with 2011, 2015/16, 2021 and probably 2023.
Not 2023 for Novak, and not 2015 either. If you say 2015/16, you may as well say 2008/9 for Rafa
@@Olly_2024_ then lets do that!
@@Olly_2024_why’s that? I have seen your comments and you are a Fedfan, I’m not sure why you dint include his most successful run
@@Olly_2024_ how though?
Djokovic 2015/16 was probably the most dominant tennis player who ever lived. Nadal 2008/09 was maybe more entertaining, but definitely not quite as good as Djokovic 2015/16.
@@robochimp143 yeah yeah funny think is djokovic is always dominant when rafa is injured or not playing and roger as well who skipped whole 2016 year and was injured in 2015
Nadal ese año ganó tres gs, no se xq no ganó el open Australia, pues ese año estuvo excelente, quién lo sepa q m lo diga
Rafa is an ICON. In the same way Roger is. That's all.
And made the Finals of the Indoor ATP Finals
IT WAS REAL MASSIVE HITTINGS
For Nadal it's not Surface. It is Surfrace🤣
Little did anyone know that Djokovic would emerge as a monster in 2011…
As much as I really don’t like Djokovic, I have to commend him for usually being a very humble loser. I can respect that
0:57 i thought the other two had also done it guess u learn something everyday
I think Novak also did it in 15-16 but not over 1 calender year
Novak did it in 2021
And then 2011 came
A climbing wolf is always hungrier than the one on top of the mountain.
And then Nadal went 6-1 vs Djokovic from 2012-2013
@@SJ-di5zulol who cares. Djokovic then went 7-0 against nadal again in 2015/16 and has not lost to him outside clay since 2013
@@robochimp143The scary thing is that the last set won by Rafa on hard courts is the 4th set of the US Open 2013 final 😮
@@robochimp143who cares. Djokovic could only out of form Nadal 2015-2016 just like Chung winning against Novak in 2018 😂
He was totally on pure concentration in that final against Berdych’s serve bombs, a combination of survival mode and excellent shot making; a rare delight for the Wimbledon crowd on such an underrated match!
Australian Open?
Defeated fair and square by None other than Sir Andrew Murray there. Then lost badly to Federer in the final, as was typical for pre-2012 Murray :/
ao and uso both have same surfaces, albeit ao a little slower- still classified as hard court surface
@@Dman9fpWell he got injured that match
17:08 As a Rafa fan for life, I have to say Djokovic was gracious in defeat
Goat too far Nov
And australian 2010??
He withdrawn from i think the quaterfinals because of injury
Nadal never mastered every surface. only fools would believe that he did.
No one can dispute that Djokovic is the GOAT. However, I prefer watching Nadal and Federer
And then 2021 came😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
and then 2022 came 😂😂😂😂😂 deportovic
Wow!!! Thats all you got? Lol cant even comeback with something djokovic hasnt done on the court. ALL THE RECORDS

AO and US Open not have the same surface .
Since 2008, both the Australian Open and the US Open have used cushion acrylic hard courts. They are slightly different, but they are both still classified as a hard court surface.
@@polktennis9797 Yes but it's a different surface .
@@issaal-andaloussi1202 no they’re not
@@issaal-andaloussi1202theyre not. They are both hard courts
@@streetspirit956 But it's different. This is why Djokovic, for example, is much more comfortable in AO than at the US OPEN.
Ahh, fodder for the Great (and stupid) GOAT debate. The main reason Fed and Djoker had a problem with this achievement was they couldn't beat Nadal at RG. (Djoker finally did, in 2021, when Rafa was having problems even walking. For the record, Djoker also defeated Nadal in the RG quarters in 2015 then succumbed to The Man in the final.)
2014 and 2015 were the years, coming back after injury, when Nadal totally lost confidence in his game. He started coming back to form in 2016, then was struck with a wrist injury at RG quarte final, I think, and had to withdraw. No doubt the 3 worst years of Rafa's career, both physically and mentally. But he came back again, like a real champion.
Dude, I know You posted this two years ago. But as you know, Rafa luckily got his multi surface victory run in a year before Djokovic reached his PRIME. Because the very next year, he would lose all six times he faced Novak. Which also happened to be in Finals. And now that Nole has accomplished this same act twice, do You now admit he's the GOAT? FYI, Rafa hasn't taken a set off of Novak in 10yrs.
Didn’t djokovic win a slam on all surfaces in 2021 AO Wimbledon, RG.
Lost in us open finals...
@@berniesabandal8679 you don’t understand. All surfaces means clay hard and grass. Djokovic won AO(hard) RG(clay) Wimbledon(grass) in 2021 which means he won on all surfaces.
@@haajiryabre335 I'm talking about winning calendar slam....he came up short... spoiled Medvedev....
You said Fed had done things that Nadal and Djoko hadn't done, without saying what they are; you also said Djoko had done things Fed and Nadal hadn't done, again not specifying what they were. But you said nothing about what Nadal has done, which the other 2 hadn't, namely winning Olympic Gold in singles and doubles.
He doesn't have Djokovic's consistency... that's the difference between them... unlike Rafa, Novak Djokovic has been consistent since 2011... Rafa failed to build consistency of his 2010 performance...or maybe Novak Djokovic 2011 improvement is too much for him to handle....
Probably both but maybe a bit more the second option. If it weren't for djokovic, nadal would've become the goat at the end of the 2010's
