    Sick!
    Excited for the Cougar! I have a '68 XR7 so I always love to see them worked on.

    This is just a long-overdue Channel Intro. It's also a great peek 'behind the curtain' to see what other cars I'll be building in future episodes!
    HUGE Thanks again for all of the support from everyone who has tuned in over the years!!

      Thank you! I will be doing 2-3 at a time in little chunks in order to clear shop space and cash flow in order to get to the Impala.

    Love your channel... you inspire me to just go buy cheap ass car and mod it the way I want.... but I have no knowledge of working on cars... should be fun though

    • @tinygaragefab
      @tinygaragefab  3 роки тому +1

      YES! Just be careful not to buy the cheapest car, because the bad can outweigh the good sometimes.
      But cars are actually easy enough to work on. Get a Haynes/Chilton manual, or Factory Service Manual (FSM) and join forums specific to that car. There is so much info and plenty of good people willing to help out if you get stuck.

    You work faster than I do. Good thing because 12 cars is about 30 years of work for me. I’m surprised at the cars you choose. No offense intended but if financial return is a consideration (for me it is), then how do you decide how much work and money to invest in one car versus another? I just found your channel today and I appreciate the fabrication mental process and workmanship. Subscribed.

      Thanks man! I wish I could work faster though, that's for sure. I usually build my cars for myself, so I'm not really worried about return on investment. It's a terrible business model, but its the only way I can stay focused. Thanks for following along!

    Love the 620. Don't think its a 72 though. The 73-79 was introduced in mid 72 as an early 73 or 72.5. 72 was still the 520 model.

    • @tinygaragefab
      @tinygaragefab  3 роки тому

      I'm 99% sure it is a 1972. In the US, they sold 620s as a model year 1972-1979. Production indeed did not start until February 1972, but it was enough before mid-year to release them as a 1972 model.

    • @jeepingneatus

      Yes, there is a 72 620!

    When ca I expect to see the impala restoration?

    • @tinygaragefab
      @tinygaragefab  3 роки тому

      I think I will bring the Impala into the home garage after I get the Datsun 620 done-ish. Make sure to stick around for that build, because it's going to get really cool in another couple videos.

    Hey man.. cool channel. I see you are in VA. By chance, do you work on other people’s cars? I may be looking for some light exhaust work on a 2018 GTI and came across your channel. Keep it up!

    The 5S-FTE for the Camry...Why not just go with a G head?

    • @tinygaragefab
      @tinygaragefab  3 роки тому +1

      I may upgrade to the G head eventually, but it will initially be built with the F head. Different pistons are required for the S, plus it would be a fairly huge investment just to get started that direction. Find a head, cam gears, changes to the belt drive, intake manifold, pistons etc.
      I'm looking for around 250-280 hp at the crank. A 5S-FTE will make this all day at 12psi and have plenty of torque for the SV25 platform.
