As a Canadian, it is so nice to hear about Canadian stores and yarn dyers. I have a wool allergy and after seeing that Santolina is a good substitute for Linen Quill (during the Half and Half Triangle rage) I ordered some-LOVE it!

I’m knitting with Purl Soho Santolina right now. I really love it, it’s a bit fluffier than some other summer yarns I’ve tried. Definitely want to do additional projects with this yarn.

Wooldreamers is so great! Manchelopis have a bit of a learning curve but they are awesome. And all the wool is local to them (and to me, yay!)

Good Wool is great. It is wooly (might be scratchy to some people). The colors are beautiful.
The Trio 2 in bottle green is sooo pretty in person. My LYS sells a ton of Isager and I bought the Trio 2 in bottle green to make the ranunculus! Also, thank you for sharing about Sonder! i'm bookmarking them. Have you checked out John Arbon yarns from the UK? They have these really interesting multi-colored yarns that give off one general color in their appledore DK base. Thanks for this video :) I have really come to look forward to your videos these days.
Would like to hear about budget yarns.
I have recently discovered the Wooldreamers yarns, so far I have knit with Manchelopis (unspun, and sooo much softer than Plötulopi) and love it, and I have added some Mota to my last order just to see what it's like. I haven't knit with it yet, but judging from the ball, the yarn is very round and bouncy and fairly rustic, so I wouldn't use it for someone who is sensitive to wool, but it would be perfect for colourwork. And as you say, the range of colours is quite amazing. I'm just waiting for an excuse to order some 😅🤣

This was a great roundup, thank you! Some if these are on my wish list too, but like Bethany, I’ll have to wait until I’m back in North America to avoid the shipping and import tax. I ordered some Isager last winter. I’m located in Berlin, which is not so far from Denmark, but I still couldn’t find the yarns I wanted in any shops here. I was very impressed with the service in that I was uncertain if my color choices would blend well for the effect I wanted. I couldn’t decide between two mohair colors as a blend for my main wool and added that as a question to my order. I received a very nice reply with their suggestion and was able to make a more informed choice. Since the yarn is kind of pricey, I was grateful for the helpful information given. Cannot wait to see the dress! Knit dresses are popping up everywhere! Looks very cool!
