    How is Aquafluide in-terms of (1) Whitecast (2) Greasiness (3) Water-resistance compared to Photoderm Creme. I bought Creme after seeing your video 🙂. Cons I found with Creme is: (1)Leaves whitecast around by beard-area/eyebrows/skinfolds if I am not careful (2) Takes time to apply 😴 (3)Somewhat-greasy (4) Water resistant claim doesn't hold good, when I sweat I can see it starts to come-off and goes into eyes and stings. Still it is the best sunscreen I have used so far. I bought Liposomal(spf-30) as well - Leaves NO whitecast but it starts to come-off in whitish-streaks after I sweat like the bioderma creme as well. Hence, want to see if Aquafluide will will solve atleast some of these issues.
    Apologies for the long post, your content is great and original, keep Posting 🙂
    P.S: I am a male, so I cant apply loose-powder and can't afford to have visible whitecast on my face 😅

    So glad you mentioned that bioderma sunscreens clear your skin. I use it too and I've noticed that! I'd love to find out which ingredients do that. I also use a tiny amount of a tinted Eucerin sunscreen over the bioderma. It dries everything down and there's no greasiness. And because it is tinted it covers up the white cast.

    Great video. However, I am some one who really cares about the fungal acne aspect of products. Aquafluide has only one fungal acne trigger, whereas the cream has two fungal acne triggers. Makes me wanna choose Aquafluide. BUT what I don't understand is the price difference! If the cream offers more sun protection, why is it SO much cheaper than the Aquafluide version for the same quantity? Makes no sense. Any idea what could be the reason?

    • @sunscreenglow6492
      @sunscreenglow6492  2 роки тому +1

      Glad you liked the video🤗. Imo the aquafluide version is comparately expensive because it is more cosmetically elegant and easier to apply. People tend to lean in more towards such formulations but something like this is also difficult to formulate especially with the amount of protection that bioderma offers in this product. Hope this helps..

    Which one is more cosmetically elegant:
    Bioderma 'creme', Cetaphil gel, Cetaphil liposomal? I am more inclined towards buying Bioderma creme (kindly suggest).
    Skin Type: combination acne prone skin, Male (Hence, won't use powder to tackle oiliness lol)

    • @sunscreenglow6492
      @sunscreenglow6492  3 роки тому +2

      I wouldn't recommend cetaphil gel variant for face as it stings in the eye really badly. For Bioderma creme and Cetaphil Liposomal lotion, both of them have their own pros and cons. Cetaphil liposomal looks more oily when compared to photoderm max creme but absorbs more easily and is less likely to leave a whitecast. Max creme does look oily but not as greasy as liposomal. But takes more time to absorb and may leave a whitecast IF NOT BLENDED WELL. If you are trying to find a cosmetically elegant sunscreen that looks matte, then I'd suggest to go for Avene day protector UV EX SPF 30 PA+++ (non tinted version, the tinted variant does leave a whitecast) out of all the sunscreens I have tried yet , this one is the most cosmetically elegant , absorbs very quickly and also looks matte . Hope this helps 🙂

      Hi, sorry for the delayed reply I wasn't using any SM
      1. I'd say I have seen reduction in my tan after using this. My skin gets in less than even 5 minutes If I'm not using spf or using something that doesn't provide adequate protection, I didn't have such issues with this . But I wanna know about the PIH caused due to Acne, I'd say till now I have had the best results with tinted sunscreens specifically- LRP Pigment Correct tinted Variant and UVMune tinted versions . I have seen the fastest results with these sunscreens in terms of tan and PIH reduction. I'm also planning on getting Bioderma Cover Touch / LRP mineral one .
      The bioderma aquafluide tinted Variant is good too.
      2. Sorry , I haven't used LaShield's sunscreen, the only sunscreen I have used from them is the one that comes in yellow and blue colored tube and i don't think it does anythingcause even after using it in the right amount and did notice alot of tan . But ofcourse everyone's skin is different and it may work for you
      3. I have tried the Sun spray from avene as a body as well as neck sunscreen and I was tanned everytime I used it. Their face sunscreens are good though I have tried the tinted spf 30 and the protection is good BUT it's VERY difficult to apply .

      I know , trust me majority of the comments in this video are for this only 🤣
      But sunscreens are tested at @4mg/cm2 which roughly translates to 1/4 tsp for face , and I'd agree with you that it is alot to use at time but using less than the tested amount won't give you the labelled protection

      It's a chemical sunscreen and I agree that it looks like alot of sunscreen 😂😂 but sunscreens are tested at 2mg/cm² and one requires to use 1/4 tsp sunscreen for face in order to achieve the labelled protection🙂

    Between bioderma max creme, aquafluid and Avene day protector cream which one would you suggest for someone with dry and sensitive skin. Thank you.

    • @sunscreenglow6492
      @sunscreenglow6492  3 роки тому

      I think All of these Sunscreens- Avene Protector (No tinted), Max Creme & Aquafluide will work well for sensitive and dry skin types.
      So, it all comes down to what you prefer- I found Max Creme to be the most moisturising among these and the Day Protector (Non- tinted) has a matte finish , it doesn't cling to dry patches but at the same time it may bot be moisturising enough for someone with dry skin. Aquafluide is more like in between.
      But in case you are allergic to or react negatively to a certain ingredient please do check the complete ingredients list of these.

      @@sunscreenglow6492 Thank you so much for such quick reply. I still haven't identified fully all the ingredients that I am allergic yet. Fragrance is something that gives me reaction. Another ingredient that I recently used that my skin didn't like was Niacinamide.

      I tried bioderma cream but it didn't suit me, it didn't sting when I applied but when I came back home my skin was extremely itchy and had small red bumps all over my face. Can you suggest any mineral sunscreen without fragrance that's suitable for sensitive skin.

    • @radhikatrn

      @@sunscreenglow6492 As of now all I am using is mild cleanser (episoft)azelaic acid, and moisturiser (aveeno) . I am trying to incorporate vitamin C but still haven't found anything in lower strength without fragrance. I did try earth rhythm vitamin C but I feel it's very harsh on my skin and can't apply more than once a week that also over a moisturiser. I have extremely sensitive and dry skin and needs to be extra cautious. My skin even reacted to corsrx snail muccin .

    HAHA, think you are applying too much of the cream, seems like an overkill to take more than 5 minutes for a sunscreen, LOL

    • @TheRssr
      @TheRssr 2 роки тому

      It should be 1,25ml for face to achieve the labeled protection of the sunscreen. And it is a lot. Personally I apply less as I don't have that much time to work around it, and because of this I try to avoid the sun all the time.
