Hi Dr V Rattan I am at present using Dr V Rattan Inzincable sunscreen spf 50. Also Neutrogen mineral sunscreen . I wanted your opinion about “Naturium” brand. The Naturium Dew Tinted Mineral Sunscreen 50 spf. ThankYou for your testing all the sunscreens in this video. Really helps me to make better choices for my skin. Bless You. 🙏😊
@@syahsiiajaragaiht8221Her stuff really works, I’ve used everything down to the creams, drink and sunscreen. I’ve even used products she recommends buying in the store for my kids. Everything works! Trust me she knows her stuff!!
I was about to place order my next month's supply of Inzincable and was wondering to ask is there any quality issues if a sealed bottle is kept away for 6 months since i m ordering in bulk.
I watched a video three days ago by a woman of color who uses mineral sunscreen. She figured out how to properly apply it and then spread it on her face with minimal white cast. You apply the sunscreen to three fingers, then pat it on your face, then spread it across the surface of your face gently, wait at least 10 minutes, then rub it in. I have been using this technique for about two weeks and it works perfectly being a person of color. I highly recommend this technique.
Hey doc there is one korean sunscreens from isntree its their suncream have a great formula so gentle and doesn't leave a white cast at all it blends in like a dream i suggest that even for people with sensitive skin do give it a try guys its worth it
Dr V. Appreciate the knowledge you gave us during Covid but since you launched your products your reviews seems biased (could be unconscious bias) but does not feel as genuine anymore. Marketing of your products is too aggressive and seems you don’t do in depth research of products anymore but comparing your products to inferior ones. Also, saying you tested all mineral sunscreen that is available online is a generalised statement. There are a lot of mineral/chemical sunscreen out there eg Korea. If you go to Olive Young/ Stylevanna and check out all the available products and do a video based on specific catergory and recommend products you love would be great as I'm sure most of it won't make the list as it is not NAFE Safe but at least you can do a video and say you reviewed all sunscreen on this website etc and these would be your top 10 etc and people could then make their own inference that the rest of the products aren't NAFE Safe instead of negative reviews. Putting a positive spin to products would be great 😊 Dr Idriss, Dr Shah also have their own line but do not do aggressive marketing but still provide vital knowledge. Consumers reviewing your product and spreading it rather than the formulator might be better for the brand and develop (re) trust. Xoxo
Recently found Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Pure Mineral Relief Daily Sunscreen PA++++ SPF50+ and it's amazing. Wonder what your thoughts are on this one dr v?
I know Dr. V. knows a lot about formulation but is it really fair to say a sunscreen is lying about its SPF rating if the zinc percentage is under 17%? Aren’t sunscreens tested to verify the SPF is what it says it is? I definitely just bought an ISDIN one on sale that isn’t NAFE safe and has 12% zinc. ISDIN is pricey so I hope it is indeed SPF 50!!
A couple years ago it came out that there were several well known and popular sunscreens that weren’t hitting their marketed SPF rating. It was a big scandal that made global headlines. Price is not an indicator that a company is on the up and up. The best indicator for that is 3rd party testing. As in, a testing lab that is not connected-owned or in partnership-with the sunscreen company. Dr V makes it easy and shares a link on her product pages to the testing reports and results. For other companies, it may require your own research into testing labs to see if they’ve tested your product of interest.
@@checksanity I remember that scandal. I’m sure price means nothing but I’m equally skeptical of a correlation between zinc percentage and SPF rating. I own sunscreens with high zinc percentages that are only SPF 30 and low zinc percentages that are SPF 50 so I dunno 🤷🏾♀️
My daily go to sunscreen is 1. Be Minimilist spf 60 PA++++ sunscreen (it is new world chemical sunscreen) 2. Innisfree’ Daily UV defence mineral sunscreen (looking forward to try out)
Sunscreen has always been, and still is, a major issue for my skincare routine. I have oily Acne prone skin and it’s so tiring. Most of them claimed broad spectrum spf 50 but it’s a lie!! Paula’s choice resist daily spf50 has pulled me 6 months back in my skincare goal before I notice it’s not giving enough protection and making my hyperpigmentation worse 😭. It’s just so tiring.

She stated in the video that they reduced the amount of zinc oxide from 17% to 12% (you need a minimum of 17% in order to be consider spf 50). Due to the percentage being lower, it’s not spf 50 anymore.
I LOVE that you honestly refer to Innesfree for sensitive skin…..if more companies would be honest about who their products benefit, life would be SO MUCH easier, less expensive and we would all buy less products trying to figure out which ones benefits us. ❤ P.s. the white cast of Neutrogena does eventually disappear but it is NOT a sunscreen for people with sensitive skin like I have.
