They need to be ready when the Government calls and tells them that terrorists have rigged a bomb and the only method of dismantling it is through a very long game of Keep Talking.
This game is really more about effective communication under stress and not actually defusing a bomb. Communicating well is a real skill, and when you learn it, this game becomes real easy
From SuburbanFiveOh on Twitter: 'I asked an EOD guy once about the stress of bomb defusing. He shrugged & said “It’s not. I’m either right, or suddenly it’s not my problem any more.” I try to stick to that perspective.'
Lmao, that reminds me of something similar from skydiving. If your parachute doesn't open, on the bright side you get the rest of your life to figure it out.
I work in a kitchen and when I'm training new people i always explain that minimal, concise communication is best. Consolidate all the info you need to get across in as few words as possible, so we don't waste precious time and mental energy working out what is needed. I'm not working with bombs, but how they communicate was so similar to how we talk in a kitchen, and so validating for some reason. If you ever meet someone who responds with "Heard" to acknowledge what you said, they've been a line cook.
Calm, efficient communication, reading and action. Sure it’s fun to watch people panic and play this, but it’s a hell of a lot of fun to watch professionals be professional.
Interesting seeing two people who are professionally trained to communicate effectively play this game together. I’ve seen people do better but not on a first go
jennifer lawrence meh. I play this a lot with my sister, and we're pretty good at. They were good, but they talked too much, and sometimes describing useless things or asking for the wrong kind of details
Ire Quintaluce I don’t want to sound rude, but these people are actual bomb experts, and in a real active bomb situation, they would be important questions because they don’t have time to waste.

Their training is their go to for lingo when they have an objective. It’s not even the fact that they’re being serious it’s just how they talk when doing military actions. They probably do it when they are solving everyday problems too if they’re together.
Its T in arabic
Yea, that was odd.
1:34 _Echo Charlie four... Roger._ Confirmated, they are soldiers
It's so nice to see grown men not screaming into the microphone while playing this game. Sure, gamers are funny, but these men are satisfying to see while they're working.
Otaku Scythela well they are professionals
Otaku Scythela YESSS, i used to love those people. but meh im sick of a signature gamer screaming.
It's like watching pro speed runners.
They can keep their cool in intense situations not like most people.
DaedricWolf well it's for a challenge, it's a similar format to this video, they are both challenges aimed to clear the objective rather than to have fun

Lol, that's a short test at most.
How do you stay so calm during a bomb defusal?: "That's easy. Either I'm right or it isn't my problem anymore."
Life philosophy to live by
How do they stay calm, the panic would kill a hell of a lot more than the blast and its a game

This game is really more about effective communication under stress and not actually defusing a bomb. Communicating well is a real skill, and when you learn it, this game becomes real easy
