My children (adults now) used to hate cream corn, but corn chowder NEVER had leftovers. Can’t wait to try the first receipt on my husband, who believes anything with bacon is on his diet plan. Always like learning new things from you Chef, thank you.
I made that soup for my family and they LOVED it so have fun making it 😊
What Gordon Ramsey has done for restaurants and bringing together families in his fix the restaurants shows has made me realize we have actual angels walking here on earth today! Bless you Gordon Ramsey! (Im not religious or anything but dont know no better way to put it). I dont have many role models but mr Ramsey is one of them
Your amazing chef of all time thanks for sharing your recipes and actual show your methods
2:11 did I just hear: "fresh frozen" from Gordon Ramsay????
He said creamed corn could be made from fresh, frozen or even tinned corn. One comma makes all the difference.😉
Looks so delicious you worked so hard to be where you are now i have mad respect for you Gordon Ramsay i hope to become a great chef like you someday!💪🏻
I made these meatballs in coconut milk tonight. OMG!!! The flavor was AMAZING!!! And nothing overpowered anything else. I could taste the cinnamon, the lime, the ginger but everything just blended together so nice!! And the meatballs were so tender! I only had 1 come apart. It was absolutely delicious!!!! Thank you Gordon, for this recipe. 🙏🙏🙏
I would love as probably some others on here to see a video or a couple of videos on how he freezes different items such as the meatballs or the soups! Just a thought! However I also know he is a very busy man! Thanks Gordon as always for the recipes and videos!
I just made the first one with the cheese scones but with leftover ham instead of bacon. I already had homemade chicken and pumpkin soup so just used that and added in some leftover roast potatoes at the end. Our child isn't usually fond of soup but loved it, especially the cheese scone! I told them it was a chowder so not to word associate.
I tried to make the scones following the recipe, but the proportions were all off. I’ve made scones for decades, but the dry liquid ratio was way too skewed toward liquid. I thought it was odd that there was no cold butter to cut in and only melted butter painted on top, and it was such an odd, dense texture. Also, the aged cheddar alone wasn’t enough flavor, so I added ground mustard seeds and dried red pepper, which helped a bit to balance the cream.
Can you give me the quantities that worked for you? I had to add an additional 100g ap flour and it still wasn’t quite right. This was the first Ramsay recipe that didn’t work at all for me.
@@pinkmonkeybird2644 I think i used the Sainsbury's cheese scones recipe. I didn't have mustard powder so put a tea spoon of djion mustard and left out the cayenne pepper. I used extra mature cheddar and went slightly heavy on the cheese to use the block up but not like loads more.
Our child didn't like puree during weaning and always turned up their nose at soup so i was more focused on the soup and advertised it as chowder rather than putting in chilli powder in the scones, which i would do for other meals to introduce and increase heat in other dishes.
I didn't use cream but whole milk in the soup and scones.
I had more self raising flour than plain so didn't need to mess about with baking powder.
I also halved the recipe as i 6 scones were plenty rather than the Sainsbury's serving of 12.
I like using Gordon's recipe ideas as a base inspiration and work of what i have and what the family likes. In the UK we also tend not to use as much sugar, butter and salt in the everyday diet.
The mixture was quite sticky so i dusted the surface and top really well. You can use cutters but i literally halved the dough and then made 3 even balls from each batch and flattened them down.
I used spray oil on grease proof parchment paper, brush with egg then remaining cheese on top.
Our Strawberries are ripening atm, so might try the sweet ones next. I don't think there is anyway to make Devonshire clotted cream here in London but i do love a cream tea scone!
Good luck with the next batch! x
You know it's fancy when the creamed corn Comes in a snap lid mason jar.
02:11 FRESH FROZEN?! THERE IS NO SUCH THING YOU DONUT!
What about frozen while fresh?
Gordon is my favorite chef just love him ❤ his whole passion sets me on fire he is passionate about cooking and don't play. Gordon I love u and thank u for the videos u take time to make u are appreciated 💗
Cooking is serious stuff! Gordon is the man
Gordon- “season with salt but remember the bacon is already salty so proceed with caution”, then proceeds to dump a massive handful of salt in. 😂
Any chance Gordon can show us some morel mushroom recipes? Tis the season!
I like to watch Gordon cooking videos while i eat
I tried your Smoky Bacon Sweet Corn and Potato Soup tonight. My son who is a picky eater ate a whole bowl of it. Absolutely phenomenal!
This is the only channel that I learned how to cook property 😍🥰
Man took creamed corn from a can and put it in that glass jar. I am fucking dead lmaooooooo
The first repice looks silimilar to a very traditional argentinan plate named Locro.
Yo he so bouncy and free in the kitchen man. Its beautiful. His passion is intense.
Chef you are the best. I own all of your digital books. It would be wonderful if in the comments you mentioned which book the recipes are in. I suspect it would help book sales as well. Thanks for being so talented.
That meatball soup looks delicious 🤤
Wow chef Ramsey's cooking and chopping skills impressed me. 😊
He is a pro chef
Meat balls using milk and breadcrumbs are something new for me. Thanks. 👍🏻
When Gordon went to those restaurants in Kitchen Nightmares, all the food he had seen in the freezer, had gone through the Ice Age
Bloody hell, GIVE US MEASUREMENTS TO USE FOR THE SAKE OF LOVE AND ALL THAT IS HOLY!
If you're a master chef you'll know how much, for the sake of love and all that is holy, why aren't you a master chef?
@@minbari73 - I was a master chef…. But then I took an arrow to the knee.
It looks like a dinner a southerner can enjoy. Nice job!
Beautiful chef 🤗 I'm hungry 😋
I do this all the time i love all the soups

Delicious and yummy soup, thanks for the recipe
wow ....i love itthe greatest and best chef, the friendliest and very caring and always embracing always providing the best way to success for mr ramsay
Love these vids sweat easy n yummy me so hungry nom nom nice one Ramsay 👍👌
I NEED the bowls at 4:17...they're perfect.
Anyone recognize them and can help point me in the right direction to find them?
They're cast iron so possibly just search cast iron bowls......
Yummy 🤤 I’m making all of these soups! Thanks Gordon 👏♥️
No dish changes quite so much from season to season as soup. Summer's soups come chilled, in pastel colors strewn with herbs. If hot they are sheer insubstantial broths afloat with seafood. In winter they turn steaming and thick to serve with slabs of rustic, crusty bread. Happy hungry! Cheers, Domenico.
Who are you, Gordon's echo?
Love your vids, keep up the good work!!

These look soooo good
Chef Ramsay, what is the difference between a porridge and a soup? Also, the cheese biscuits you made are a Southern staple. Typically when we make them we layer the dough 5 to 10 times to make the biscuits extra flaky and helps them to rise. I love soup so I am glad you are sharing these master classes. Thank you so much.
Porridge is made of boiled grains. In the US, we usually will eat that for breakfast.
@@Jesusisyhwh Yeah but if you add potato, leeks, corn, bacon, soup stock, bay leaves and cream of corn you could call it Poop.
@@minbari73 He didn't add those other ingredients to the porridge. Watch the video again.
Awesome job Gordon and I m gonna make bang bang cauliflowers tommrow from your cook book.
Looks great Chef!!!
I loved the “touch” of milk
I love soup, not wild about corn in soup, can I omit/substitute?
I want to make a soup that will warm up my heart ❤
That meatball brought a ridiculous smile to my face
What brand of pans does Chef Ramsey use? They really look nice, and I like to cook.
02:44. A TOUCH of milk! 👀💀😂😂
Never heard of this soup but it is fantastic to learn something new and flavorful. Amazon car hop trays.
You should also present Persian stews!
Persian food is worth its own whole series. It’s so beautiful.
Never had them, but I know biscuits aren’t the same as scones
You make It look so Easy! :)
Where can I find the printed recipe for that miso noodle mushroom broth. I need it in my life
Looks delicious!!
Id give anything to have Chef Ramsay teach me to cook . So I can eat better .
Excelent chef
This is just so awesome
Soups are underrated
Tip for the first soup - Crisp up the bacon and add it as a topping instead of cooking the bacon in the soup!
Malay meatballs!! Frikadelle! Yummy!!!
I have a ? I have always wanted to cook with leeks but I am unsure on the cleaning process! I have heard different things! What is you opinion GR?
Hello Chef Gordon Ramsay, do you recommend using a carbon steel frying pan for searing, is that what you use?
Soup is so underrated in the western world.
Wow.... ,,My favourite 😍
@Gordon James Ramsay You're most welcome.💚❤..I am your biggest fan..🤩..I love your cooking.....🥰💚❤ I will never stop supporting you.....💚❤
From Bangladesh💚❤️💚
Gordon!!! You'd get a kick out of Pickle Soup we Poles make and I'd like to see your take on Bigos!!!
E esse pão de queijo aqui no Brasil faz sucesso
Ah, chunky soup. If only we had a word for that.
Chef Ramsey id love to meet with u in person and talk with u a bit. You've really inspired me with my cooking. I love to cook. I'm planning to open my own restaurant someday. I would love to talk to you so you can give me some pointers on it. Please hope you reply back. Would love to hear from you Chef Ramsey
What would the name of the restaurant be im sure the food would be delicious
Wouldn’t Twitter be a better place to try and message him? Pretty sure he has very little to do with the running of this channel

As a American I’ll eat a scone very happily if it comes with that soup 🍲 forget biscuit!!! 😂
Yummy I mean excellent 👍👏😆
Literally have none of these things leftover in my kitchen.
I could eat all of these biscuits
Hi from South Dakota :)
i can't knock gorden for the suggestion to freeze cause i do it all the time but i would never pay for a frozen meal reheated in a restaurant.
I tried this one many years ago but it wasn't very much to my liking. All of the ingredients I love in many other recipes, but together, to me they clashed. Especially lime zest on beef. Using chicken instead for the meatballs might have been better. One instruction I didn't follow well was that I made the meatballs a little too small, golf-ball sized, but I don't think that had any impact on the flavor.
I’ll get back to Gordon with this. Thank you
@@josephsmith765 Gordon is a master (14⭐s?) and I certainly don't know better than him. I'm just a humble home cook, but taste is subjective my friend and he's human, not God. Honesty and TRUE open-mindedness is in deficit right now. We need more people unafraid of being misunderstood for having their own opinions. I was surprised I didn't like the flavor combinations. I owe nearly all of my steak cooking technique to him. The family always asks me to cook them at gatherings.

In the UK they're known as scones.
In America, they're wrong.
