The heaters were unnecessary as is a buffering substrate for neo caradinia. Some people keep their NCD shrimp in out door ponds that freeze over and they still thrive. Glad to see them blue dreams survived they were not looking happy in the first vid.
I’ve been breeding blues and reds for about 2-3 months and one blue and one red have already had shrimplets about 15-20 each haha and 1 more blue and 2 reds are buried
Anyone got any advice for me... I am looking to get started with some large fresh water shrimp? Would love them to be few inches or so, bigger the better... Will be in 20 gal tank, in time will be moved to a pool for a fish pond... Am open to crayfish or prons... Needs to be some kind of scavenger tho I will be actively feeding them fish food......I am in Texas USA... Am wanting to find the kind of shrimp first then will add fish that will work with them..... Must be fresh water tho...
Amanos get pretty big compared to neos but there are some dwarf lobsters you can get that are really cool that would be bigger than shrimp but smaller than crayfish
I never see a update on the shrimp and is it just me or do u just keep seting up breeding tanks of different animals? I didn't want to sound negative but I don't see any shrimps after this vid other than ghost shrimp

Hello I'm a big you will be 1 of the biggest you
Do they ship to Australia
I’d love to see a video of cross breeding for different colors.
You'll have a lot more berried shrimp if you get rid of those heaters. They like cool water.
I don't heat my shrimp tanks. I thought 78 to 82 was a little too high. Do you do this for breeding?
The eggs need warm water and it's like spring mating season yr round i keep my tank at 78 and they are breeding like rabbits
@@aaronosb7787 No.
75 - 77 is what my tank stays with no heater and I have lots of baby's and pregnant females and I have CO2 injection. No issue at all
60f is my cherry breeding tank, they grow bigger and live longer in colder water.
ive never been this early
You defo fuck kids
Can we get a house tour with all animals included PLEASE?!
Do you grade your cherry shrimp and if so what do you do with the ones that aren’t bright enough colored?
Axolotol Rose is a great name for him...very inventive. I likey!! 😎👍
Neocaradina Shrimp can survive into the 30s you really don't have to heat the tank .
They do breed more quickly in higher temperatures tho
I have seen 52f
Mine are breeding like crazy at 60f, no heater. And they're bigger sized than the ones in my heated tanks.
Idk why but Gilbert really stands out to me for the axolotol's name lol
Good stuff
That bucket of substrate wouldn’t it lose its beneficial bacteria after a certain period of time or no?
Nice vedio Chris 👌💥

What kind of substrate you use ?

I would say both unless you really plan on breeding the sword tail
