I got the opportunity to test out an fk2 around Donington Park national circuit I put two laps up against each other towards the end of the video hope you enjoy
18x9 ET50 + 245/40 R18 tyres and spoon rigid collars changed the car for me so much, now it rotate very nice and its more stable under breaking. I have also K-brace in garage ready for next season which improves back stability even more, but i need to change the mounting style of it, because i sometimes need that awesome big boot of the FK2. Also i just bought mugen style rear wing to give it a little bit more downforce.
you cannot compare them as you have really bad understeer in the fk2 , sort that out and redo the video , you will be reducing 3+ sec without understeer .
Think a rear anti roll bar will assist with the understeer on the fk2? And like you mentioned better tyres

Because Honda type R FK2 braked often than FL5 but FK2 is very fast against FL5 :)

I would agree but I could only do the video with what I had tho sorry still got good potential the stock fk2 👍
