I've been riding and touring for 25 years on all types of bikes in the US and SW-MOTECH is without a doubt the best manufacturer of accessories. Keep up the brilliant work.
I've had a few SW-Motech accessories when I had my VFR. Definitely good quality stuff that works as intended. I'm thinking I need a new Hayabusa, and this makes it so much more convenient to travel. Well done!
I wanted to accessorize my Hayabusa with SW Motech because for my earlier bike I was very satisfied. However, I did not. The panniers are weird shaped, not useful for me, cannot stick a laptop in. For luggage I use Kriega. I hope SW Motech continues to develop for the bike: frame sliders, kickstand shoe, mirror extensions would all be awesome.
Hello Miklós, Thank you very much for the message. There are also other bags for the Pro side carrier to fit the Hayabusa: sw-motech.com/bike/SUZUKI/GSX1300R/2022/WEJ0/Produkte/ Laptops can also be accommodated here. So far we have everything in the range possible in the webshop. Unfortunately, this also means that there will be no sidestand foot extension and no frame slider
Hey @Tim.555, thanks for your comment. If you mount the AERO ABS side cases, you can't use the passengers pegs. But if you want to drive with a passenger and side bags, we can recommend you the PRO BLAZE side bags. With those you can take a passenger with you. With the link you can check them out in our webshop sw-motech.com/en/bike/SUZUKI/GSX1300R/2008/WVCK/products/luggage/saddlebags/BLAZE/4052572199695.htm

Hello @sliqindustries4782 , thank you for the question. Here once the assembly instructions for you: mi.sw-motech.com/4052572225455/en As you can see, the original rear must be mounted (no conversion). A luggage rack does not have to be present.
Hi Christian, thank you for the nice feedback. 1. we only test it with the orginal passenger seat, so I cant tell you if it works with the seat cowling 2. No, unfortunately not. /MM
I appreciate the reply. One last question if you could. Is it possible to have the side bags without the top rack? In other words to have the side bags without the bars that go under the rear seat?
Hello Christian, it ist only possible to mount our side cases with our side carriers on your motorbike. It does not word withourt usind the carriers. Thank you for your understanding. //KS
I think the hayabusa is going to be my fourth bike in my one garages. One of my friends ( now retired 747 cargo captain) in Honolulu Hawaii, according to him it was the third fastest Hayabusa in the USA, or the world I can't remember. He raced, ie, time checked it on the great salt flats in Salt Lake City, oh Alex Taylor what a crazy guy but will always I love him. 🙀🤓😎✈️
Hey @stxe34, thanks for asking. It depends on the person who is driving with you, but we would suggest to not drive with another person while having the bags mounted.
The flaw as with most is that you either need a top rack or the mount replaces the rear handle. You can't mount decent side bags independently with rear cowling. I would have to pull whole rear section off just to replace two bushes for the handle. That's why went with H&Becker instead.Maybe have two options for fitting side bags, with or without toprack.
Hello DoobieScoot, thank you for your comment and your feedback. For construction reasons, it is unfortunately not possible to move the mounting points on our side supports. Thank you for your understanding. //KS
Hello. The luggage look great. However, I have a question. Did you forget your passenger? Why didn't you move the bracket back a few cm? Thus, the passenger has a big problem with legroom. 5-6 cm and the problem would be over. Thank you.
Hello how are you? i have a generation 3 2023 i bought a PRO MICRO but the tank fit is different as it only has 4 screws, could you help me get the correct ring for it? I've looked all over and I can't find it! thank you!

Hey @danielseda2821, thanks a lot for your comment. For the Hayabusa we have several options. If you chose the AREO ABS side cases, there is no room for a passenger. But if you chose the PRO BLAZE saddlebags for example, you can ride with a passenger 😉👍
Hi Dan, you find the lock for the AERO cases here: sw-motech.com/en/products/luggage/tail+bags/Accessories/4052572039625.htm You can use this on the zipper. /MM
Do you have a photo of hayabusa with trial or city sized bag? I'm looking to get one of yhe tank bag system, but not a fan of the flat bottom and empty area inbetween. Wonder if city and trial would fit busa as well. Thx!
Instead of an enormous scaffolding like structure you should have gone with three-point, triangular bobbin mounting points. upper two separate embedded within a properly shaped grab rail (look kawaski) and the lower support with extension from the Exhaust mount. OEMs does that (suszuki GSX s 1000 GT and Kawaski 1000 SX ) neatly. This look like a shelf assembly. Also like another user noted, should have left the top box mounting separate. It can be done but need to some design taste and material strength analysis.
Hello @zenrising3314, That is very individual. It always depends on how the rider sits on the motorcycle, how tall the rider is, how the tank bag is adjusted, etc. You can sure test it out and decide after that whether you want to keep the tankbag or send it back to us. 😁🏍️ //AI
Who doesn't respect the Hayabusa, and this video offers options if you were to use it for travel. That being said, I wouldn't buy a Busa for the intent of travel, even for say 40% usage. There's some new sport tourers on the market that are much better suited for mixed use, but weigh less, cost less, yet offer excellent and comparable performance as well. Seeing a Hayabusa with panniers out on the open highway -especially with a travel group- is amusing.
I totally love your products but there are owners who mounted a hayabusa gen 2 evo system to the gen 3 without loosing the ability to carry a rear passenger.
