Not that many people see the Game Over screen of Okami actually according to conjecture. Most people like the game, but a lot of said people can also say that the combat is actually pretty forgiving. Getting a perfect rank on every battle however...
Well, It's true he did more than perfect, and by that I mean not getting damage. You know, even If you get hit, there Is still the godhood stuff that activates when damage taken and basically makes Okami Invincible for an amount of attacks. (And depending of your performance It also recovers Itself). So yeah, even getting perfect rank Is very easy.
Not exactly. This is no damage only in the boss fights and even then he could have re-fighted all the bosses until he got a perfect fights. Not many people realise this small fact during these videos
You can play it on Switch. Also, it is honestly the best platform for Okami yet. Less annoying motion controls than in the Wii. A less shoddy control scheme. And you can even use the touch screen to draw!
Use Life Bead rosary as a sub weapon against Orochi. Since Orochi has a large hitbox, all of the rosary's attacks can easily hit him, and it does a lot of damage.

Yeah, chugga is awesome like that. Each let's play is a 100% walkthrough, and he always adds a personal touch, like showing that stats of every pokemon whenever they become available in the game. He always has a bonus episode (or ten) covering all sorts of things, like cut content and development drama. He never talks about anything but the game he is playing, and has the perfect amount of editing. He was one of the first LPers ever, having done this for TEN YEARS! I could sing praises to him for a year and it would never be enough. Dudes a fucking legend, and I would die happy if I was half the man he is.
Marx ain't lying either, chuggaa could turn a boring RPG game to a fantastical and fun journey with him, showing everything to his knowledge ( and not only that, but he also reads his comments and STILL learns new things about his current game and shows it off to the audience )
It's kind of more of a toss-up between the jokey camp moments and the serious emotional ones. That sort of in-between really codifies a lot of Clover Studios' and their successor Platinum Games' games.
My dream would be to have a second part to this game. Imagine to be Shiranui with their breathtaking powers & fight against monsters faster stronger x10 (more more powerful) idk the Celastial plain would have been attacked by ennemies whose strenght would that similar to that of Shiranui... I dont understand why no one ever wanted to develop a second opus to this madness! Aww >.< I have to tell myself that crazy idea will remain in my dreams 😭

Bayonetta references Waka, Pillow Talk was the name of the weapon from Okami. I mean Chain Chomp was addition before they ported to Wii U (or i may be wrong but yeah). That game had lots of references from other games, hidden from plain sight.

Tbh I've never died to an Okami boss I haven't even died at all.. I always make sure to to have a bunch of bones with me and a lot of damage increase defence increase and all the rest.. The only problem I ever have is trying to figure out how to actually hit the boss 😅

Their decision to switch from realistic 3d style to 2.5d ink brush cell shading was the best thing the devs made. It allowed it to age well.

One of my favourite game of the history, the final phase against Yami is amazing with that beautiful song and the incredible design of characters.
But I always used the first weapon, I think the final weapon is to over power and make the battle too short.

If you time it right, if you use thunderbolt you can summon real Rao who does damage. Using ice's snowflake summons oki as well.
