    some of these amazon bikes are real gems! i have the Lifan KP150 mini pretty much a 150cc honda grom clone but with a bigger motor but its a clone of the honda cr150 motor. been driving it daily for the past year 120miles a day work commute!! I have stutted tires for the winter for riding around on the river when its froze, and in the summer i go off roading on my parents farm.. its been a great bike only thing i did was upgrade the carb! plan on getting a real dirt bike for myself and letting my son use this one for riding around off roading ect..

    Does it feel like it has decent power compared to the other 125s you have? Also, can you measure from the footpeg to the seat? Thanks

    • @hanzdidit
      @hanzdidit  2 роки тому +17

      From the pegs to the top of the seat is 18 inches when the bike is standing straight up it is 32 inches from the ground to the top of the seat with the spring uncompressed. Out of all of the bikes that I have bought from Amazon this one is one of my favorites it seems to be geared pretty well and runs and rides pretty nice after it warms up. Here's a link to the bike on Amazon: amzn.to/2SXWFqw

    an another question - I heard that a Mikuni V22 $40 carb and a new simple muffler would make this bike run better and stronger. Supposedly they have a catalytic converter inside the muffler which makes them slower and weaker and run a bit odd. Is there any truth about these ?

    • @hanzdidit

      I had change the carburetor and exhaust on the hawk 250cc carbureted enduro motorcycle i had and to be honest I could not tell a huge difference. I would try the stock carb first and experiment with other carbs and muffler after you try what comes on the bike out of the box. I hope this helps, thanks so much for watching.

      Got the bike 2 weeks ago. Total ride time so far about 8h. Some issues with it. Just wanna let you know. First was the front wheel is out of true causing the rotor to feel warped. Fixed the rotor but waiting for a new front wheel as I type. Found 2 loose spikes in the back wheel. Had to adjust the air filter. It was causing idle issues but that’s good now. The rear shock is actually adjustable. Got a spanner online. Support is some what helpful. Parts warranty according to support is 3 months. Starts at time of delivery. I’ll keep you posted for more updates. Cya.

Not the 1st time bike but its been a while, so I'm worried it might be a tad too tall. He is not getting smaller though... so how tall do you have to be for this bike to feel comfortable ? Hey Hanz ! Finally received my bike ended up going with this 125 over the rest ! Quick question I can’t get her to idle without the choke on. Do you have a solution to this fix ? It starts up and runs but won’t stay on even after being warned up

    • @d3y610
      @d3y610 2 роки тому +2

      Find your idle screw on the carb, mess with it turning like 1/4 or less turns until it’ll run perfect, should be a philips head screwdriver. Just google where it is on your bike.

    • @hanzdidit
      @hanzdidit  2 роки тому +2

      In my experience these bikes are super cold blooded, there should be three phases of choke and once the bike is completely warmed up it should idle without the choke on. But I do know for sure that it takes a while to get the bike to temperature. If you run it for about 20 minutes or so he will probably have to turn the choke off completely to get it to idle properly. If that's not the problem it could be just a simple idle adjustment on the carburetor. He may have to remove the rubber cap on the bottom of the carburetor to get to the idle screw. Hopefully this is helpful and thank you so much for watching.

    • @hanzdidit
      @hanzdidit  2 роки тому +2

      My suggestion would be to let it run for 15 to 20 minutes and even ride it with the choke on until it starts raining a little bit rough then you can turn the choke completely off. In my experience these bikes are very cold blooded and it takes a while to warm them up. Hopefully this helps thank you so much for watching.

    Where do you get parts?

    • @hanzdidit
      @hanzdidit  2 роки тому

      There is a small selection of parts on Amazon and some of the other resellers, it is not a lot but for the most part you can make other parts work for this bike. Hopefully this video is helpful, thank you so much for watching.

    I got a 125cc pitbike and I order a 35t rear sproket with a 19t front was just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions

      @hanzdidit  2 роки тому

      Personally I have not messed with the sprockets on my bike, I cannot give you any good information sorry.

      Change sprockets for use. For off road and low end for hills and fast off the line just use a huge rear sprocket Bigger rear sprocket makes a world of difference in the low end

      The drain plug is included with the bike when you get it. You should use the one that is provided by the manufacturer.
