- We set out to find the cheapest dirt bikes that are competitive with CRF,TTR,KLX, and DRZ 110's. This episode is the unboxing, assembly, tips, mistakes, and the first ride with the X-pro Storm 125cc dirt bikes. They were on sale at this time and normally cost over $1000 shipped. They cost more if you have them pre-assembled.

Watching you hold the clutch in trying to start was painful and entertaining 😂❤
😏😄
tomorrow will be 1 yearsince we gt ours. my daughters is a storm 110 semi auto. and it KICKS the ass of our bigwheels. after upgrading handlebars to sum amazon specials and and an whamazon 980 rear shock. when i broke my knee in june i was racing them on just my left leg. jupms rollers whoops n all. and STILL was able to kick theyre asses. but mannn. its great family fun. this year alone i influenced at least a dozen pitbike purchases nt counting my junkyard finds and the 3 im buying today. worth every penny youll spend. only problem will be having enuff for everyone to ride (hence the 3 im buying today). stay safe. strap up. and have a 2 wheeled blast.
I was literally yelling at the screen telling you to let off the clutch when you guys were trying to start them it was driving me nuts 😂
@@Ganjagodaz 🤣😅😂
I had one. Lots of fun. Best tips I got about chinese bikes is that when you get it, tighten and add thread lock to bolts, and clean out the gas tank well. It's common for shavings and debris to be in the tank from manufacturing. Doesn't take much to cause carb headaches. Treat your gas w Lucas. also, noticed how you turned the pet-cock valve, and that got 'er started like a pro. LOL
😁🤣
The bolts definitely will loosen up or out with out the locktite. I've had to retighten quite a few , but the bikes are holding up strong.
Can u put the shopping link here for me so I can order those handle bars
What size handle bars is it and what was the goody box they sent what do those parts do
Just got a my first bike? What are thread locks and do I need to add them to every bolt and how do you clean the gas tank?
Don't use WD-40 to get the grips on. I, err, I mean my friend did that. It stayed slippery forever.
@@stevek8 😅🤣
I have the a11 Xpro125 it's pretty solid it's so fun it's on taller suspension then those bikes are though. It takes some abuse. And one thing to remember those bikes have to be in neutral in order to start them they will not start in gear with clutch pulled
Definitely figured that out 😆🤣.
We looked at the a11 and were very close to going that route, but we wanted to be close as possible in size to the 110s since the track we ride at doesnt have any larger pit bikes. We thought the a11 would be perfect to run the 125cc until it goes then upgrade to a 190cc 😁.
@@MartinRacingChannel that's exactly the plan I have for mine is to upgrade to the 190 once the 125cc motor eventually goes. You guys spent your money well these things are tough and SUPERRR cheap to fix. Hell a new motor is like $250 🤣
@@That1E_K1129 Thanks so far everytime we replace something it has been super cheap. We have a new video coming out where I blew the rear shock , but an upgrade replacement shock was only $40 and is working great. Adjustable for 80lbs.-200lbs+😁
@@MartinRacingChannel which brand? I bought a set of those cheap rfy shocks and they were kinda crap. I rebuilt them with a bleeder and better fluid and they work excellent now but out of the box were horrible.
@@That1E_K1129 I bought this one Https://amzn.to/3icyly9
My brother bought the same one. We only have about an hour on them so far. We are going to test them on big pitbike track soon. I've hit a downhill double that is 11ft from peak to peak multiple times. The stock didn't make it at all lol.
Blowing air in it works fast to
Hand grips are very easily installed and or adjusted with a blow gun from air compressor.
I've learned the easiest way is to take rubbing alcohol and squirt it inside the old grips and they come right off. New grips go on super easy the same way. As soon as the alcohol dries they are set.
thanks for this vid looking at getting one of these cheap bikes but have only seen videos from like 2-3 years ago and this one is recent
The bikes are holding up very well. Check out the other videos to see ways to get better performance and ways to make the bike more reliable for you.
i bought some of these for our kids. stepping up from mini bikes. got em for 850 each shipped n all. even gt myself one. hope theyre fun rippers. well find out in bout 12 hours
They are a blast! The carburetors need a little work, but very fun. We have a new video coming out where we replace the carburetor with a nibbi 24mm. I'm going to try and make my stock carburetor work perfectly first, my brother already installed the nibbi on his bike. We have to get it jetted perfect and then we will release the video.
Did your family like the dirt bikes?
@@MartinRacingChannel oh hell yea. my boy. a natural ripper. just a lil rough on his shifting. my daughter was kinda scared at first. after 30 mins shes roosting off the corners and throwin a leg down. theyre worth every penny we spent for the smiles for miles
@@justjesse16 That's great! They have been a blast for us!
@@MartinRacingChannel my kiddos both had mini bikes with predator engines. no shifting just riding. unfortunately they outgrew them way to fast. so these were a great step from there to a real dirtbike. my daughter gt a storm. me n my boy gt some voyage 125s with big wheels. hers wuld outrun ours without hesitation if i regeared. but me n ky boys are big enough we can practice on good rider etiquite. this spring i will be building a little supercross style track on a section of our block thats sized for pitbikes. then the real fun begins.
i bought the hawk 125cc street/dirt bike, with electric start, all led lighting to be street legal,

Hey guys whats the quickest faster pitbike around $1,500? Is there any biggest pitbikes worth the money or would looking for a used yz kx cr a better gamble?
Thanks for all the informative bike information you guys rock!
@cooper4ktruth It really comes down to if you want to race in a pitbike class or ride in a big bike class. Which do you want to do? Are you wanting to ride around the yard and small pitbike tracks or at a motocross park?
@@cooper4truth Thank you😁
@@MartinRacingChannel riding around the farm mainly!
@cooper4ktruth If you're not riding a specific class. I'd probably look at the pitster pro, or apollo 140cc bikes to stay in your price range. If you could find a kawasaki klx 140cc that would be a nice bike. If you are riding with friends or family I'd suggest getting something that is the same cc's and same size bike so you could be competitive with them.
We went with these bikes because they were the closest to Honda 110s and wanted to be competitive with them without spending a ton of money. Now I have the china bike and a Honda 110 and my brother sold his china bike and built a Honda 110.
Pretty intense bike assembly music.
I thought it went well with the speed 😁
I am curious how tall you are and the wheel size of the bike? I am looking to buy the X-pro X17 125cc with 17" front tire and 14" back tire. Will the bike be big enough for me? I am 5 9'
I'm 5'10.5" The bike you're looking at should fit you perfect in height. Mine is short , but it's a pitbike to compete with 110s. It's actually about the same height as a klx110l.

Appreciate the video. I just bought one for my son and started it up today. I noticed ours seem to be like the one in video having an issue with staying started and stalling out. Was there anything you did specifically in. the background we did not see to improve the idle and running. I was hoping ours would run like the first one off the bat, but not my luck. Any assistance is appreciated.
We swapped to the carburetor in this video. ua-cam.com/video/gdQr3prm9D0/v-deo.html Mine ran great without a different one , but the stock carb on his had issues. You could try cleaning it and make sure no trash is in the jets and the fuel line is clean from the tank to the carb.
Thank you for the quick response and advice. I just found out my wife has gotten one for me to ride with boy!! She ended up getting me the S3 X9 125cc. Maybe a dumb question but will the parts you listed on your Carb mod video work with the X9 (Nibbi PE22mm)? Also, just curious if you had a link for the seat like the other parts. Appreciate your help!
The 22mm carb should work fine as long as the carb is in a similar location.

The guts tall seat is more comfortable ,but it is about 1/4-1/2" more narrow on each side. The gripper seat cover is super nice, though.
Can’t hold the clutch when trying to start it
First day we got them. They have a safety feature that won't allow you to start them in gear while holding the clutch.
Thanx for the laughs that was great 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

I enjoy riding with all of my family and friends. The bikes are small enough to ride in the yard and have fun , but quick enough to hit jumps and get adrenaline rushes.
Honestly can’t believe you held the clutch in to start a motorbike 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Glad we could give you a good laugh.😁
tbf. all my big bikes i always started with clutch in. most the time they were in 1st when id start. the positive neutral safety on pitbikes is sumthing most wont figure out right away. but is good as these bikes are built for younger crowd to be learning on.

@@MartinRacingChannel yep
Been thinking about getting one of these but unsure if it would be a nightmare to source parts when it breaks down
These bikes have a good warranty and have replacement parts readily available.
Anytime something broke, they shipped the part in the next 2 days. The only parts that I broke since December were a rear shock, handlebar clamp, footpeg bolt, a few wheel spokes, and a throttle cable. I've put the bike through some serious crashes and pushed it way beyond the limits of what it was designed for to see if it was competitive with the Japanese 110s, and it has held up really well.
If you are just looking to get into the sport or want a cheap bike to ride with friends, you will get your $800 out of it quickly. If you want a no maintenance bike, they really don't make one , but a stock Honda does really well. Anything you push the limits on regularly will need maintenance, though. I ordered through powersportsmax.com and got my replacement parts directly from them. All aftermarket parts were sourced from Amazon and Ebay.
Thank you
I was thinking about getting the storm 150 with the headlights and turn signals and trying to register it street legal in Florida
@theboogeyman9813 That would be awesome. Better sized for an adult too.
@theboogeyman9813 I wish they would sponsor me and let me do reviews on the bikes. Then, after reviewing, do a giveaway for all of my subscribers.
How fast does these things go
About 50-55 mph depending on your weight.
Are those worth it? I wanted to get one on Amazon for $580 and I’m not sure if it’s a scam or not. Where did y’all get yours from?
I got mine from powersportsmax.com
They have lasted well with very few repairs and powersportsmax has a great warranty service. I'm sure amazon is the same. If you ride it hard, you'll find little weaknesses like the rear shock that will have to be upgraded. You're not going to beat the price and quality for the price. I've been very impressed with how well the bikes have lasted.
Power motorsports max 125cc x pro big wheel 17/14 you got 12x14 wheels same price bigger bike more suspension
We got the 12/14 to race our friends with honda 110cc pit bikes.
happy bday to ur dad
😁 I'll let him know.
My first dirt bike will be here in a week. It's a X-Pro X17 125cc. What kind of torque wrench would you recommend I get?
I would get a 3/8 torque wrench 5-80lbs. That should allow you to work on most of everything. Always try to watch a review on how accurate they are. It's easy to break a bolt.

can i ask how tall are u i really want one and im 5'9 i wanna know if its a good size for me
I'm 5'10 and my brother is about 5'11. The bike is great for playing around on in the yard and racing pitbikes. If you want one that is a little larger they have an x-pro cruise that still has the 12/14 wheel setup. It would be great too. Just depends on what you are wanting to do. We wanted to be as close to a crf 110 as possible on a budget.
They sound nice, but the seats don't look comfortable
You are 100% correct 😆
We were sponsored by Guts Racing and the seats are so much more comfortable, but are still super narrow. I wish they had a comfort seat for this model so you could get a seat that was about 2-3" wider, but they don't have one. I'm considering making my own.

@@MartinRacingChannelhow fast do they go if you weight 130 pounds
What size are the wheels on these?
12" rear and 14" front
@@MartinRacingChannel awesome. Now is the Storm the same frame height and everything as the Sail?
@graham12v8 The sail is taller and has a longer frame. The storm is about the same dimensions of a crf 110 , klx110, or ttr 110.
One more question, what’s the package of blue grease for that comes with it. Does it need it before assembly?
@graham12v8 I don't remember to be honest. The only thing that I could see putting grease on is the front axle because it comes shipped with the front wheel off. Grab some loctite when you start installing everything. It will save you frustration of the bolts loosening up when riding. I didn't use it at first, it's worth it.
How are they holding up? I'm thinking about getting my son one of these. Thanks.
Really well. I have ran mine as hard as it can be and wrecked it a few times and dropped it a few times too. As long as you keep everything tightened up and perform regular maintenance like any other bike, they are a perfect bike to have your kid start out on. I really feel like it's the smartest purchase dollar wise because you're not really out much. If your kid doesn't like it then you have a toy, you can ride as well.

@reza-quals-every-time With a couple of upgrades it's fine.(Seat, rear shock, and handlebars) The bike is very small though its like riding a ktm50sx with the wheel and frame dimensions of a crf110. Plently of power though.I honestly went with this bike because I ride with friends that ride crf110s and it was the lightest weight bike with the same dimensions. If you're wanting a 12/14 tire bike that's a little larger for an adult the egl a11 looks nice. I don't know anyone that has one though. The apollo 140 bikes are nice too.
