  • The newly constituted Lightfoot Band, featuring Gordon Lightfoot's backing musicians at the time of his death in 2023 and complemented by singer/guitarist Andy Mauck, perform "Song for a Winter's Night" during their debut performance at the El Mocambo in Toronto on January 27, 2024.

    I'm so happy to see this band going on. They stayed the same throughout Gord's career. His recordings and live performances varied only a little, and I always appreciated that. Keep it going guys, and come back to Albany NY soon!

    It's good to see Barry and Rick carrying on, they were such and important part of Gord's sound and were there for all the classic albums of the 70's. Andy does an ok job, but doesn't totally capture Lighftfoot's voice, but then again nobody could, only Gord himself in the 70's when his voice was at it's peak.
